Not your key, not your money

In Chinese, my personal thoughts are

Not your (exclusive) (private) key, not your (exclusive) money.

In the world of cryptocurrencies, your identity is not defined by what you look like or your ID. One of the foundations of cryptocurrencies is cryptography, and there are a lot of mathematical principles. One of the more relevant ones is "asymmetric encryption", which uses a pair of keys, one of which is kept privately and the other is made public. In the world of cryptocurrencies, your identity is defined and proven by your private key, which we call "private key". And the address you usually use LIKE pay is actually the "public key" corresponding to your private key. "Private key" is very important. In the world of cryptocurrency, "private key" is like the "ID card", "signature" and "seal" that you use to prove your identity to the bank in the real world. But in the world of cryptocurrency, there will be neither your appearance nor your appearance, nor your name. As long as you have your "private key", you can use it to "sign", "seal", and anyone can take your money from the "bank".

Next, let's talk about "mnemonics"

"Private key" comes from cryptography, and cryptography originates from mathematics, so it originally looks like a bunch of very long numbers and letters that cannot be remembered. For computers, there is no problem (because they are originally the same type) , but for humans, it is very troublesome. Therefore, some masters have designed "mnemonic words" and used some methods to make the arrangement and combination of some English words correspond to your "private key". In this way, you don't need to "remember" "private key" but only "Remember" "Mnemonic". So, now if you come into contact with cryptocurrencies, in most cases, you will only meet the "mnemonic phrase", and will not see the "private key" itself. So, you've found the treasure!

Then you still owe the "hot wallet"

In fact, the "wallet" is not a place to put money. In fact, it stores your "private key". Then, as mentioned above, the "private key" is for the computer, and the "mnemonic" is for the people. So in teaching, you only see "mnemonics". A wallet can hold a lot of "mnemonics" + "private keys". You can add many accounts in Keplr. Behind each account is a set of "mnemonic phrases" + "private keys". I think you can think of the "private key" as your "seal", and the "wallet" is the box (?) in which the "seal" is placed. In addition to protecting the seal (private key), it is also necessary to avoid letting others open the box (wallet) of the seal at will.

You should find that in the process of using Matters and Likecoin, you have never seen the "private key", let alone the "mnemonic phrase", and the "wallet" seems to be similar to Liker.land. But according to the news I overheard in the Likecoin Discord , in fact, Liker.land is not a "wallet", and your "private key" is not in Liker.land, nor in the hands of members of the Likecoin team. So where are your and my "private keys", "mnemonics" and "wallets"? Before answering, let's go to https://stake.like.co and take a look.

You will see an option called Authcore, which should be seen by many people, then let's click on it.

This picture is very common! Lightning people who often support the citizens of Matt City, should remember that when using LIKE pay, after logging in on the above screen, they can pay Likecoin to others. According to the above picture, I boldly assume that your "private key" is in the hands of Authcore, Authcore is your "wallet" , and the "mnemonic word" corresponding to your "private key" may not exist . If there is, it should be Also in the hands of Authcore. In fact, the "mnemonic word" is used to remember the "private key", and it is not necessarily something. But when you are sending money, Authcore also needs to know which "private key" is yours, so it needs an account number and password to verify and log in. In the Likecoin Discord , I actually overheard that the private key is stored in Interl SGX through AuthCore technology, I don't know what it is. But combined with this sentence, I think my assumption above should be right (right?).

Seeing this, don't move all your Likecoin to the hot wallet, just use it to play games at this stage! I suggest you go and learn something first!
