In view of this, Point G has set up the "Hong Kong Gender/Gender Minority Friendly Store Database". In just two months, nearly 100 stores have registered! The relevant information has been uploaded to the G-spot website.

Stores that support diversity and inclusion, register now! We will upload the store information you filled in to the G point website for public viewing and regular updates. Let more people see your efforts to promote gender/gender equality! It also makes it easier for the gender/gender minority who need the relevant products and services to find you!

Consumers, you can find suitable stores by region and industry in the database. Click to enter the store introduction page, there will also be store introduction, address and contact methods such as social media and email.

How do you define sex/non-niche friendly?

When registering, the store owner can choose how to achieve gender/gender minority friendliness in the business among the eight gender/gender minority practice suggestions. There is also an "Other" field for the store owner to fill in the store's eight suggestions. other contributions.

The eight practical recommendations offered by G-Spot include:

  1. Gender/gender minorities are one of our main customer groups, and some or all of the products/services in the store are designed for gender/gender minorities;
  2. We welcome gender/gender niche customers and ensure that customers are not discriminated against based on their gender/gender status;
  3. We employ or are willing to employ gender/gender minority employees and ensure that employees are not discriminated against in the workplace on the basis of gender/gender status;
  4. We have gender/gender-friendly service training or daily guidance for employees;
  5. We have displayed or posted labels, stickers or promotional materials conspicuous in our stores;
  6. On webpages and social media, we are willing to take the initiative to speak up, share and forward issues and activities related to gender/gender minorities;
  7. We have launched or are willing to develop rainbow goods or services for gender/gender minorities;
  8. We support gender / gender equality and have participated in or sponsored gender / gender minority activities in the name of the store

Point G believes that there is no uniform standard for gender/gender friendliness. We tend to value the initiative of store owners, and believe that in the absence of official thresholds, stores have more room to create more diverse gender/gender-friendly practices. The store introduction page of the database lists the practice methods of the store, and the audience can choose according to their own needs or standards.
