Live Chat|Da Shi Ye Temple Festival
It has been a few weeks since the festival, and I just returned to my daily life from my passion. For me, it has been a long time since I have experienced a large gathering of so many people. After all, the epidemic is numb!
In this article, I intend to show you the liveliness and crowds on the streets, as well as the booths and experiences of the common people’s life at the festival, and then I will write another article related to religious rituals and traditional art performances. After all, it’s wonderful. There are too many things. Because of this, I spent more time sorting out photos, videos, and materials. I had a lot of fun shooting them right now. When I got home, I found that there were hundreds of photos that needed to be sorted out.
Slow action, please Haihan pull!
In fact, we were all a little tired this day. Going to the city center in the morning to buy things had exhausted our physical strength. We were lying on the bed and wailing, and even said, "Forget it! It's almost the same again next year, just rest and stay at home!"
But in the end, I honestly picked up my wallet and mobile phone, put on a mask, and rode towards the city of Minxiong.
Because we have checked the timetable, there will be the final burning ceremony of the statue of the master at eleven o'clock, so we arrived at the scene at about ten thirty.
From the photos, it can be seen that although there are not many people around, there are actually stalls and crowds all over the city.
When I came here to take pictures a few days ago, the lights were not lit. Now all the archways are under police control, and you cannot ride inside. It is recommended that if you come by motorcycle, you can find a parking space in the row of Goose Rou Street from the railway station to the level crossing. There are the most parking spaces here.
After walking a little inside, I started to see crowds. Originally, I kept saying, "It's strange that there are so few people this year!" But as a result, when I went inside, it was completely different.
There are more than one person.
The street full of people was very shocked after turning a corner. After all, it was close to eleven o'clock. Usually, there were no people on the street at this time.
Although there were fewer people than when I came to participate a few years ago, it was still lively.
It's like a large night market taking turns appearing. Although I only participated at the last minute of the last day, it is hard to imagine that these street vendors have been doing business here for three days and nights. look.
I saw "Dragon Beard Candy" after walking twice. I originally went back to Hsinchu and wanted to go to Nanliao Fishing Port to buy it, but I just happened to have a rest.
Now there are fewer and fewer opportunities to see stalls selling dragon beard candy, so I immediately stepped forward and prepared to buy.
Seeing that the immediately hand-made candy shreds are wrapped with peanut powder and sesame seeds, this store can LINEPAY, and it turns out that digital payment also needs to be grounded!
Continue to walk forward, getting closer to the Dashiye Temple, and the crowd is getting more and more gathered.
Because the time was almost up, we skipped a lot of booths, and it was more important to watch the ceremony first.
The front of the temple was also bustling with excitement. When I came here, it seemed that everyone was already preparing something. It was the first time for me to watch the ceremony.
In previous years, I also went shopping and went home. This time it was a new experience for me to come to the book. I didn’t know anything but just followed the crowd. I even saw someone nearby using a tour guide to explain.
After reading it, we all feel that if we have the opportunity next year, we also want to find a tour guide with professional commentary, not only to watch the fun, but also to watch the doorway, which is more interesting.
(Because there are many videos and photos of the ceremony and performance, I took a lot of photos and videos in the first row of the rock area, and I will share with you in the next article)
Next to the temple, there is the umbrella array that I shared last time, and the lights are lit as I expected.
Walking through this part of the road makes people feel like a dream. Since it is just right to pass from the front of the most lively temple to the periphery, there are many people passing by, and the locals seem to be walking on the sidewalk.
The dark blue psychedelic rain is interlaced with light and shadow, which is really suitable for taking pictures.
Before returning to the temple, most people were preparing to leave because the ceremony had ended.
There were also a lot of confetti and firecracker confetti on the ground.
There are still many people in the offering area, but most organizations are packing up and preparing to leave.
This angle was also photographed before the last event, and now a large stage has been set up and there are performances. There is also a transparent cover in the center. Before the ceremony, the statue of Grand Master will be placed in the center of the place.
This temporary archway was shot from the same angle as the last time the festival came to the scene . Now it is impossible to ride in. There are also small pinball tables next to it, which is full of night market feeling.
This group of people is actually bidding at the night market, and I am more interested in the parasol sale that follows.
As I said last time, Minxiong's Da Shi Ye Temple Festival is also known as the Umbrella Festival. Minxiong people like to buy new umbrellas and rain gear at this time.
There are rain gear sales everywhere! !
I even heard a booth shouting:
"Two hundred for a folding umbrella, buy one get one free!"
Doesn't that mean a hundred? ! It's really cheap! !
In the end, I bought an automatic folding umbrella for 300 yuan. Although it was not so cheap, the size was more suitable for me, and it was considered to be a trophy in this annual umbrella sale.
From a distance, I thought it was a store selling Dongshan duck heads, but when I got closer, I found out that it was a puppet to win a hole. Why is this goose puppet display so "special"?
I took a special shot because it was interesting.
After all the ceremonies are over, the streets are still lively. Although some shops are closing their stalls, there are still many people doing business and shopping.
I also quickly bought some late-night snacks at the end of the festival. I was really hungry after walking around for so long.
Before leaving, I found another Dragon Beard Candy, and the price was even cheaper than the store I encountered when I first came.
I immediately planned to buy three more boxes, and Xiaomeng reminded me in my ear that when we came here a few years ago, this Dragon Beard Candy was also doing business in the same location.
I think it may be that this festival is really a good time to make money. There are many people and it is easy to sell, so it attracts them to come every year, right? I even found out about the rental price, but I don't know if it's true or not, so I won't say more.
This dragon beard candy has more people than the previous one, and the previous one is ready-made. Because there are many people making it on the spot, you can also see the craftsmanship of the master.
Seeing a lump of maltose in his hand gradually changed from wheat color to silver threads, he felt that this dragon beard candy was a laborious and delicate craft.
The most important thing is this red outer carton, which is the ideal outer packaging for Dragon Beard Candy in my heart.
It's not that plastic boxes are bad, but when I was a child, it was this kind of packaging.
Although I have waited for a long time, it is also an interesting process to watch the master make candy.
Compared with the faucet painted on the carton next to it, the plastic and the faucet are a bit inferior in momentum, and the sense of delicacy is somewhat different.
I like to see this lump of sugar silk nestled in a small hole, like a silkworm cocoon in a small lattice, it has a wonderful feeling to me.
The above is the process and photo collection of my actual walk around the festival streets.
In fact, I took a lot of interesting photos, but due to the limited space, it was really difficult to put them all up, and many of them were taken leisurely by myself, and they belonged to me. Part, because there are too many, I happened to be in the first row of rock and roll at that time, I will organize another article, and then I will share it with you!
I hope you don't have to be too discouraged to miss this year's event. Next year, you can also make arrangements to visit the Minxiong Da Shi Ye Temple Festival! ~
It's really interesting~~
