[Comic] Little Me - Revised Edition
This comic was drawn by me in 2011 and published in the comic magazine "Strichnin". It is my earliest relatively complete comic story. Since the original version is in German, the dialog box originally drawn in German will inevitably appear big or small when it is entered in Chinese, please forgive me.
The story comes from a photo I took when I was three years old and a watercolor painting that was born from it when I was an exchange student in Italy in 2010. On the day I painted that picture, I was extremely lonely and homesick. I opened the photo album I brought to Italy as a child and saw this photo.
I remember that the bungalow had already been re-leveled and a new house that I had never seen before was built. I moved several times when I was a child, and the original residence that may still exist has been sold to others. It is no longer a familiar touch. In this way, the past can't be returned, and there is no chance to even revisit Gejiu again. So I wiped a few tears and painted this watercolor. When I was a little kid, I rode a car and ran far away from me, but my body that was getting fatter and duller could no longer catch up with her.
And then there was this comic, in my fourth year living and studying in Germany. What I said at that time was about painting, and I was still painting. Although German is very comfortable, drawing is still my most important language, and it is still my favorite thing to do. And the little I still live in my body, I hope she can live here happily forever.
