I really care about the richness of the seats

In Chiang Mai, many cafes close at 16:00 or 18:00. If you are a night owl and need a place to work out, CAMP on the fifth floor of Maya is a good place to go.

WI-FI, seats, charging ports?

The most important things when working out are WI-FI and power supply.

CAMP's WI-FI is not free. You can get two hours of WI-FI use by spending 50 baht on food or drinks, 100 baht for four hours, and 150 baht for six hours.

Any unused Wi-Fi on that day can still be used the next day. Even if you are already connected to WI-FI and leave CAMP midway, you can continue to use WI-FI when you come back.

Can I use WI-FI without consumption?

Can.

Both True and AIS provide free 30 minutes of WI-FI. This has unlimited usage, but the network will be disconnected every thirty minutes, and then you need to use your mobile phone number to receive text messages to connect to the network again.

Despite this, the reason I still choose to spend money at CAMP is that I don’t know how they make money.

It is rare to find a study room that is open late at night and has so many seats. If spending 50🐷 each time can help it continue to operate for a long time, why not do it?

As for the distribution of CAMP seats and charging ports, please see the picture.

Good seats are hard to get. The best seat in my mind is the Tree House, but I haven’t sat in the Tree House for two months.

Business hours?

Maya's business hours are until 10 p.m., and CAMP's business hours are until 24 p.m.

If you leave after 10 p.m., the escalators in the mall are closed (and will be sealed), and you need to take the escalator to leave.

There are two elevators in total, one is near the bathroom, and the other is opposite CAMP and close to the cinema.

If you take the straight elevator near the restroom, you will have the impression that you have to turn right after reaching the B1 floor.

If you take the escalator near the cinema, you will first see the parking lot when you reach the B1 floor. People can exit from the parking lot, or turn left and exit from the underground food city.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t know the Food City exit. After exiting the elevator, turn left and look forward. There is a 90% chance that you will meet a security guard who will point you in the direction of the exit.

The air conditioning temperature in CAMP is very low, guessed to be 18 degrees. If you sit near the air-conditioning machine, it is recommended to bring a thick coat - I have also seen people bring blankets or winter hats - short-sleeved shorts will make you sneeze from the cold.

After all, CAMP is a public place, and basic social etiquette or, to put it more directly, odor management still needs to be done. I have been to CAMP so many times, and only twice was I so smelly of Chinese feet that I had to change seats a few meters away.

Finally, because I am too embarrassed to take pictures in the office, all the pictures are from Google Maps, and the text annotations are based on my own experience.
