This document is for all patients with "difficulty in choice syndrome".

We experience countless choices every day. From the moment we are woken up by the alarm clock, we start an infinite self-struggle: whether to get up at 8 o’clock, what to eat for three meals, what time to go out, and what to say in the morning meeting What, do you want to refuse a job, what to give to your classmates' birthday party...

Unconsciously, the brain falls into the state of "Rumination" , which is the most energy-intensive and anxiety -producing state, just like the digestive system is constantly digesting the same thing but cannot obtain new ones. The brain also produces a lot of junk emotions and signals .

Another positive response is to replace "options" with "action" thinking.

Rather than thinking about whether to get up now, let’s get up first.

Instead of thinking about what to have for breakfast, go to the kitchen to see what's on offer.

Instead of thinking about what to say in the meeting, take a look at last week's work summary.

Instead of thinking about whether to decline a job offer, research the other company first.

Instead of thinking about what "options" I have right now, what are the choices I can make right now ?

Turn the thinking of "options" into a kind of "action" , so that the brain can receive new signals. When the brain feels that the information is new, it will generate positive motivation.

We have always misunderstood that motivation is the "cause" of behavior, but in fact "motivation" is the effect of "action". Only by receiving feedback after the action can there be continuous output of positive signals to the brain to generate continuous motivation.

On the other hand, "options" without action are meaningless . When those "perfect options" don't come true, people become anxious, lost, and even caught in a cycle of self-doubt and self-denial.

Please allow yourself to gain positive energy in the "choices" that continue to accumulate in small increments.

Action is choice, choice is freedom.

May everyone be a better version of themselves.
