Ouyouxin Video‧Siberian Railway Chapter "Eleventh" Moscow, Russia and Iron Curtain Thief
The appearance of Moscow is no different from European cities, but there is a kind of coldness, not the weather, but the atmosphere of the whole city.
Put down your luggage at the backpacker hotel, especially lock your valuables before going out to the Izmailov Art Market, and then to the Red Square. Walking in Moscow, you will definitely take the gorgeously decorated subway. The subway is very deep underground. Like the Beijing subway, it should be used as an air-raid shelter during a nuclear war.
There are many antiques in the market, which I like very much, but it is a pity that I can’t take them with me when I travel with a backpack, so I can only take a look at them.
Standing on Red Square, which was once the center of the Iron Curtain. Even though it has been more than 20 years since the fall of the Iron Curtain, it still has certain characteristics. It used to be a communist dictatorship, but it is still a dictatorship after the communist party left. Perhaps this is the reason for the coldness of this place.
The scenery of Red Square is indeed beautiful. St. Basil’s Cathedral, GUM Department Store and the National History Museum are all quite gorgeous. It’s hard for you to think that this is not Europe, but in the hearts of Europeans, Russians are not Europeans, and the fact is, Under the appearance of Europeans, Russia is actually the successor of the Mongolian Golden Family since it was occupied by the Mongol Empire. They are more related to Mongolian blood than European blood
At the last stop on Red Square, I visited the Mausoleum of Lenin. This man has influenced so much in the modern world. Seeing him has a feeling that cannot be described in words. The events in history books and the tragedies in the world all stem from he. I have a kind of thought, is this ceremony of preserving the corpse really a commemoration? Or is it actually retribution, which made him restless after his death. After coming out of the exhibition hall, I feel uneasy all day long and cannot relax.
After visiting the Kremlin, the Cathedral of the Dormition, the Cathedral of the Archangel, and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the feeling of uneasiness gradually disappeared, but sometimes the sixth sense had to be believed.
When I returned to the hostel, I found that it had been stolen. The lock of the locker was broken, lost the charging cable, MP3 player, and the belt I kept next to the bed, but the passport in the locker is still there, probably because it can't be sold for money. The first time I was stolen while traveling, I was a little overwhelmed. There is a language barrier, so the only way to find out from the Internet is that the thieves all target Asians, and there are fewer Europeans and Americans. Russians have been known to discriminate against Asians. Apart from this reason, Asians are afraid of trouble, and most of them will not report to the police (it is useless to report to the police in fact, or they may be afraid of trouble), and Russians think that Asians are rich, especially Chinese and Japanese.
I am afraid that the police will not pay attention to only stealing small items. This should also be a strategy of thieves. The most disappointing thing is the attitude of the staff, they are indifferent, I feel that I am making a big deal out of a molehill, I don’t know if it is discrimination, but at least I can’t see the same look on the faces of the two British roommates, they discussed it with me , the loss is not much and the language barrier, I still decided not to call the police, but this hostel will not come again.
The three of us decided to move to another hostel, and I will also go to St. Petersburg a day earlier and leave tomorrow morning. When I left the old hostel, I saw someone lying on the ground outside the window, being kicked by two big men. Over the past 20 years, this place has only changed its appearance, right?
When I walked out of the hotel, it was even colder today. The coldness and the Iron Curtain were in people's hearts, and they never disappeared.
