Interview with "Suffix" @ 路 Read from the heart | How can you be as good as you want, but you must be worthy of your heart
"Suffix" Interview and Writing Camp Group A: @Reading Pen FarmingInterview@Travel Reading from the Heart
Likes to travel, read, and volunteer. Use your little power to explore the Web3 world with your creations….
■ origin
When I first saw @lvducongxin ( hereinafter referred to as Luda), I knew that there were many questions I wanted to ask (torture), which happened to be the dismantling of his nickname - brigade, reading, heart.
He happens to be in two online reading clubs (one of which is a public welfare reading club founded by@Hugo.Hugo) communities. From his speech in the usual group, we know that he likes mountaineering, and he is also a railway fan. Dragon boating too ! It can be said that it is all-encompassing to go up the mountain and down to the sea (water)! Curious about his imagination and longing for the "brigade".
From his newcomer's check-in text , and later watching the movie "The Revolution of the Times" , and even his book selection style - " Xiangjiang Detective Fu Er, Word Moss ", " 13·67 ", between the lines, it is not the first time that he has revealed his love for Hong Kong. The treasure of this land . I would also like to explore Luda's development of reading and listening, especially the humanistic feelings, which is the part about "reading".
Lvda started a serialized topic called Two or Three Things about Volunteers . The latest episode is Easy-to-Read Training I , which talks about the diversity of visitors. For example, you may encounter groups of elementary school students or people with mental disabilities. In addition to taking care of the quality of the content, the way of communication is a big challenge . Care, enthusiasm, carefulness, patience and empathy are needed! It will also reveal the "heart" journey of this volunteer journey.

Q1: Can you introduce yourself in a short one-minute "Elevator Briefing" for everyone in Matt City?
Wow! It's a big deal, so I'll immediately apply it to the discussion topic of the book club (there is a session of practicing self-introduction and opening the ice), I haven't thought about what my " elevator briefing " will be like! This is my first experience (laughs).
Cough cough! Hello everyone, I'm @資reading from the heart, I belong to the same book club as Bi Da, and I was introduced to Matters, because I like traveling and reading, and it feels like a very general interest! I like to be unrestrained and follow my heart , so I named it like this.
Came to Matters mainly to break free from the shackles of FB - yes! I am not an idol, but I also have an occasional presence - in a place where no one knows me, I record what I think, what I get, and express my feelings. Originally, I only planned to write about my reading experience and travel experience , but I didn't expect the citizens of Matters to be so warm and friendly, and they encouraged me to share other things . In fact, I really want to write a series of articles about star chasing . It is a young and frivolous memory, and it is worth writing down! I am afraid of goldfish brains, I will forget all these things (laughs).
There are a lot of things I want to write, and I hope to realize the plans in my mind as soon as possible. At this time, you may need to use bullet notes to achieve the goal as soon as possible. If you have resonance with my article, you are welcome to communicate with me a lot!
Q2: Your English ID of Matt City is michenhk0927, and the little easter egg with "hk" is buried. Tell us about your memory of Hong Kong and why you are so passionate about this land.
Ha ha! My name is Wu Aigang, that is, I love Hong Kong , and the clip of "Dancing with Dragons" came to my mind in an instant.
I remember being fed by the Hong Kong entertainment industry since I was a child. Cantonese songs, Hong Kong films and Hong Kong stars are immersed in my life, which is a good medicine to escape from reality in a life full of academic pressure; Hong Kong at that time should be both friendly and unfamiliar to ignorant girls (laughs)! Because its image is a bright, colorful, vibrant city that never sleeps, it seems to be more prosperous and progressive than Taiwan, but the people and language there are familiar . Back then, my first dream was to go to a concert in Hung Hom when I grew up. This wish came true soon, and I was very happy.
Because I longed for Hong Kong when I was a child, after I started traveling abroad, I went to Hong Kong almost every year. Experience the local street character, the (slim?) human touch, the fast pace of life (impressed by the "speed of the escalator"), the heart-pounding horse races (want to throw money into the air at the betting shop), and the The concert that counts down to the New Year by Hong Chi …. Whether it is before setting foot in Hong Kong or the memories of running to Hong Kong every year, those emotions are exciting and long-lasting. I am often lost by my friends, saying that Hong Kong is your second hometown (laughs) !
After Hong Kong's return to China, they are also concerned about what has changed (as expected, when a frog is boiled in warm water, China's hand is stretched deeper and deeper)?
*
In recent years, my entertainment focus has shifted to South Korea, and I have rarely "returned" to Hong Kong. Coupled with the relationship between the epidemic and the drastic changes in politics, I can't help but sigh more and more, I don't know when will I set foot on the land of Hong Kong again ? Now I can only care about movies, books or articles, so as long as these works are related to Hong Kong, they will especially attract my attention (with keyword scanning in their eyes).
The writing is really great, I actually found my implicit passion for Hong Kong, and the words are super precise. It is indeed inexplicably close to persistence, and there is a kind of simplicity of honesty and concentration.
Q3: What is your most profound experience with regard to the "Brigade"? During the pandemic years, we should accumulate a lot of energy and prepare for it. Do you have any specific mid- and long-term plans?
This question is too difficult, how do you choose the most profound experience (laughs)?
In terms of going abroad, I have been to Iceland, Turkey, South Korea, China, Cambodia, Japan, Hong Kong... But no matter where I go, I think the most profound thing in the journey is the feeling of communicating with people .
- In Iceland, seeing the aurora is really exciting. Another experience is walking alone on a black sand beach with no end in sight, with friends who refuse to leave each other, holding a bicycle with a chain (it's quite like a MV scene, they refuse to leave each other, and they want to let each other go first). , I don't know which one is playing), I have witnessed the preciousness of friendship, a lifelong friend.
- In Seoul, my friends followed me foolishly (not afraid of being sold), and arrived at the suburban community that was not a tourist attraction at all. With the eyes of fearless passers-by, I opened my iPad and imitated the plot of a Korean drama with me, and took a photo of Zhang Siwei.
- In Japan, a friend had symptoms of high altitude when climbing Mount Fuji. We moved forward slowly, shared oxygen tanks, accompanied us to cheer, and finally had the first experience of a mountain house and the joy of reaching the top.
- Even if I was traveling alone in China, I was taken back to the station by kind-hearted people at Luye Gaotai; or the unexpected encounter with a stranger in the countryside on the back wall triggered the opportunity for me to learn photography; I still found that the person who shared breakfast at the same table was actually the former The proprietress who visited the restaurant in the evening left her FB contact information after talking happily.
The reason why I like to travel is because I feel that I will be very relaxed when I travel abroad, I am more likely to be curious about things, and I feel that what I see and hear is fresh. If you think about it further, you may not necessarily have to travel far. In fact, when your mentality changes, you can feel this way wherever you go . During the epidemic, it is inconvenient to travel to other counties and cities, so I will create the feeling of traveling in a familiar area, like changing a different route (for example, I used to turn right, this time I turn left and make a circle) to the same place I will see scenery that I didn’t know before, new restaurants, cute dogs, and even I, who are blind to plants, will feel the change of seasons ; If you look at the same scenery at different speeds, you will have different experiences.
During the pandemic years, I also tried my best to accomplish some goals in Taiwan, such as rowing a dragon boat, completing the Taipei Longitudinal Walk, and participating in the Dajia Mazu circumnavigation (starting from Zhenlan Palace at 10 o'clock that night, and walking to 6 o'clock in the morning the next day) Arriving at Longjing, the late-night detour is very interesting), you can have a good experience without going abroad, and it is also great to spend a few days in Taitung Chishang!
I don't have any specific plans for a medium or long trip. Usually, we just set a goal, and act immediately when the opportunity arises, and it will come naturally (really a "heart-hearted" person)! Everywhere I want to go requires some physical strength, so it's important for me (the plan) to stay healthy and not have any worries when I want to go .
After completing the Iceland trip and climbing Mount Fuji, there are indeed other attractions to complete, one is Machu Picchu in Peru, the other is a pilgrimage to Spain, and the other is to go to Tibet , but it will take a lot of time. What (laughs)!
I recently saw Angela Chen 's article, and the idea of "walking around the island" that appeared before reappeared (yes! After I completed the cycle/train around the island, why did I forget to walk around the island? Oops! It really is a goldfish brain). The three goals of traveling abroad that I just mentioned may not be achieved in the short term, so walking around the island in different times is my new choice, so I may start with this one !
Q4: Regarding "reading", what type of books do you usually like to read? Your favorite book growing up? Why? I see that you are an e-book reader user, are you still used to the digital reading experience?
I usually like to read travel literature (because I love to travel), philosophy (often I can't figure it out, so I don't bother to think about it), and then I also like to read books on business management and psychology. As for chicken soup for the soul, I occasionally "supplement" it. But it's really tough for the science class.
My favorite so far is "The Little Prince ". I didn't feel it at all when I read it in high school, and I wondered how this book could be famous. As I got older, I realized that it's not easy! You can use plain words and simple characters to hide deep meanings , and the illustrations are super cute. Even the surrounding areas or exhibitions are attractive, how can you not fall in love with it?
The habit of reading e-books started when I bought mooInk 6S during the Double Eleven Shopping Festival last year. At first, it was for portability , so that I could pass the time while waiting for (late) friends, or commuting to and from work; I could use the reader to "pack the entire bookcase" , so that I didn't have to worry about what to bring with me every time I went out. A paper book?
In the process of using it, I found that it was different from what I imagined beforehand. I originally planned to use the reader to organize the reference book and write the experience (because it can draw lines and notes), but in the end, it was much more convenient to turn over the paper book to write the outline and query the key points. However, I also found that reading "novels" with a reader is an excellent partner . I hardly ever read novels before, but now I have one novel after another, and now I just feel that there are more and more books I want to read, which is so frustrating. !
I like both e-books and paper books. Both are tools for facilitating the dissemination of knowledge, and each has its own merits, and there is no need to favor, praise, or belittle a faction . E-books are light and easy to store, and the cost of buying books is lower (although the reader itself is expensive); paper books (for me) are easier to absorb memory and are more suitable for collection (memorial or photographic works) , and I like the feeling of flipping and stroking the paper.
It suddenly occurred to me that it would be easier to get started if one day I wanted to turn my published works into books and publish them in the form of e-books.
Find the tools suitable for your own reading and immerse yourself in the world of scholarly books, which is the highest.
Q5: Regarding the "heart", what kind of karma brought you into contact with volunteer services? How long have you been doing it? Have you encountered any special circumstances (eg: Aoke) that you can share with you?
It's all done! I usually like to see historical sites and listen to historical stories. Compared with the heroes who are remembered, I always feel that I am small and insignificant, but I really want to do something for the society, so I have the idea of becoming a volunteer; I went to Kishuan to attend a lecture , and left contact information. Unexpectedly, its e-newsletter just happened to have news of recruiting volunteers soon after. Many things seem to have their own arrangements (I want to say that everything is God's will 🎵, everything is destiny 🎵, and it is destined after all 🎵).
I started my internship in August 2018, and it is almost four years since I became a volunteer.
Volunteers are indeed a service industry, and they will encounter all kinds of tourists, and they are also worried that there are Austrians among them.
Fortunately, most of the people are friendly and tolerant, and they often encourage and praise us, probably because they knew the relationship between our (volunteer) identities from the beginning! On the other hand, Kishuan is a historic site, and it has a sense of solemnity. Perhaps this is the reason why tourists who come here are more embarrassed to get angry and make noise here?
I haven't encountered the impression of Aoke, but there are a few impressive things:
- When I was on duty while reading e-books in the new building (restaurant), the voices of the dining visitors were so loud that I couldn’t read the books at all, and I heard the endless replay of the conversation about “passbooks of Taishin, Changyin, and the post office”, and I thought this was Is it listed in the stock market? Only then did I know that the two families were arguing about property, and there were even episodes of stealing recordings and kneeling. I thought to myself, "Such a gossip and bloody plot is actually being staged in front of me?"; After that, I returned to the old museum (the historic site) to be on duty and found two of them who also came to the historic site to talk about it after the meal (how is it so predestined? share?). I also accidentally heard that the younger generation seems to be mentally and physically exhausted because of taking care of the long-sick elders alone. well! Sure enough, every family has a scripture that is difficult to read.
- Kishuan once held a photo exhibition of Mr. Ruan Yizhong, and I happened to be on duty on the exhibition day. There were many guests that day. In addition to Mr. Ruan Yizhong, I also saw photographer Li Pingbin himself, but I was too embarrassed to go to ask for autographs; I walked out of Kishuan after the duty (and the ceremony ended) and found that my brother's car was parked outside. Head, want to say when he was so kind and wanted to take his sister home? When he was about to say hello to his brother happily, Li Pingbin actually walked to my brother's car. It turned out that Li Pingbin called Uber to my brother's car (laughs)!
- Visitors during the epidemic are required to fill in the form and have their temperature taken. But when a partner was on the night shift, it was obvious that no one walked into the monument, and the instrument suddenly made a sound of "The body temperature is normal, please wear a mask", and it was regarded as insects and mosquitoes flying (shaking)!
When I was a volunteer, in addition to learning about historical sites and answering questions for the public, the museum also offered training courses, which made me gain a lot.
We once invited the troupe to hold performing arts training courses to teach us how to stretch our bodies and perform with voice; there are also editing courses based on life materials, where we interviewed neighboring stores and collected articles into a booklet; regularly held micro-travels to connect with the feelings of volunteers. I didn't expect to be out of the society for so many years, and I can make many friends who are "non-job related" , and I feel happy.
Q6: In your self-introduction column, you mentioned the phrase "what I know means I know nothing". Is this your motto? Why? What are your thoughts, experiences, and gains in writing (in Matt City)?
" What I know, I know nothing " is a well-known saying of Socrates .
There are different opinions when studying the meaning of this sentence. Some people argue that it is a problem of self-refuting: if Socrates knows "I know nothing", he does not know nothing. Or that Socrates didn't just know "I don't know anything" at all, he knows a lot! For example he knew he was Socrates . . .
Although I like reading philosophy books, I am not a person who likes to study, I just like this sentence. Because the common problem of many people is to think that they know everything (how is it possible!), but there should be no limit to the knowledge or knowledge of one thing! In particular, there is not necessarily only one way to solve the problem . If you can hold this kind of humility, you can seriously understand every thing or behavior, and avoid being too selfish and assertive.
In fact, my motto is "You can't be as good as you want, but be worthy of your heart "! It's just not written on the personal homepage (laughs).
I follow my heart, I am happy to write in Matters, I like the simplicity and simplicity here; I meet friends through literature, there are no other factors or entanglements of interests, only the purest release.
As mentioned in the first question, I came to Matters when I wanted to get rid of the shackles of FB, and I felt the joy of writing here. I didn’t need to consider the interpersonal relationships in real life, I just wrote what I thought; or I converted into a curator The identity of the person, thinking about what kind of personal style to show in an unfamiliar environment, to have a new self, the feeling of unfolding in another place .
Q7: Continuing from the above, what have you learned so far about “Exploring the Web3 World through Creation”? How do you feel compared to the Web2 era?
I am still a novice in the Web 3.0 world. I only know that the biggest features are decentralization, the platform is jointly governed by everyone, the platform does not belong to anyone, and the data is stored in various corners in a decentralized manner, so no major organization can control it.
There are also cryptocurrencies issued by decentralized autonomous organizations. When I entered Matters, I just wanted to write something, but because of the mechanism of admiring citizens and earning the extra gain of LikeCoin, I began to get involved in the currency circle (in fact, I haven't stepped in at all, only my toes have entered lol), I realized this Generations are changing too fast (I'm an old man lol)!
Web 3.0 still feels like a blind man touching an elephant to me, but it can be inquired from familiar creations . Earn LikeCoins by publishing articles, learn how to mine liquidity in Osmosis, create K-spray and Little Fox Wallet, get the first NFT and POAP in my life, and join Discord to participate in discussions... All these things are for me New World. Confused, novel, and a little dazed, I can only fight and go (again, I am really an old man, lol)!
In the previous Web 2.0 era, everyone was used to interacting on social networks without having to deal with too many things. It's just that we give these tech giants (Google, Facebook...) too much power. On the one hand, they use personal data to train AI to develop various tools; on the other hand, they also place advertisements on personal data in exchange for money. Too much "centralization" holds the power of speech censorship, and vaguely feels a reactionary force. Is it one of the reasons for the rise of Web 3.0 ?
I have not yet participated in the experience of co-governance of the platform. I am a novice who is indifferent to voting on the proposal. Although Web 3.0 can fight against the giants emerging from Web 2.0, the truth is not all good. I will worry that Web 3.0 will face disinformation, cybercrime, money laundering, fraud... law enforcement will be more difficult due to the lack of large-scale control. Do people have the awareness and willingness to vote together on matters other than cryptocurrencies? I can't help thinking: Is there really only "decentralization" as the way to improve the problems in the Web 2.0 era? Is there any other way? Or is it better to use decentralization in some areas ? oops! The old man with goldfish brain is not suitable for thinking about it any longer (laughs), I should focus on creation first and slowly understand Web3.0.
