goals and balance
Generally speaking, having goals is a good thing.
With a goal, there is a direction to move forward. When the goals are clear enough to be subdivided into clearly executable items of daily life, life can be like a regular machine, doing what needs to be done when the time comes. If you implement each project long enough, it will become a habit over time. Habits become ingrained into physical memory, and for better or worse, will no longer be easily shaken. When you live your life closer to good habits, it is not difficult to get the title of self-discipline.
Maybe you learned about time management and the four-quadrant diagram of to-do items ("urgent and important" → "important but not urgent" → "urgent but not important" → "neither urgent nor important"), okay Figure out how to plan when you want to accomplish your life goals.
But the importance of balance is often underestimated. In other words, the practice of the mean is much more difficult than imagined.
The variables in life are often beyond imagination. Especially the labyrinth of the mind, even if you think you have a thorough understanding of it, but when an accident happens, you can always find a corner of a certain quadrant of the mind, there is still a large wilderness, which requires you to spend a lot of time, effort and energy to cultivate and irrigate. , can see the unformed world, gradually clear in the bottom of my heart.
Over time, the seeds you sowed can sprout. But it is still difficult for you to know whether the seeds you first sowed will bloom into flowers and fruits as you expected, or will they just become a solidified attachment and obsession in your heart? How can you be sure that you didn't get on the train in the opposite direction?
Every time I look back over my accumulations, staring at the longer and longer road I have come, I have doubted myself countless times. And I've come to understand that it's a good thing to pursue a purpose and find joy in it, to have a positive impact on others, no matter how small. Maintaining enthusiasm and maintaining balance, and walking steadily on the long road is the most appropriate attitude when pursuing goals.
Try to live everything in life like a game, accept every change and difficulty, and have the opportunity to experience it with your whole body and mind. All this is a process. And if one day the whole world tells me, "Save it, don't waste your energy." Maybe I'll want to know more about the outcome of the path I'm taking.
Even in the day-to-day life, I can go to the restaurant that I happened to see before but never visited. Go places you've never been before and experience activities and things you've never seen before. Or, agree to an invitation from a friend who hasn't seen each other for a long time, and see the traces of life's trajectory on each other. Isn't it a wonderful thing to have that freedom at this moment?
Every change in choice will bring new joy and loss to the heart, which may in turn affect the original habits of life, and make the things that you want to stick to do fall short. It's like being invited to a big dinner by a friend when you're losing weight?
In the not-too-distant days, if you can stay away from wars and plagues, it means that ordinary happiness has already arrived. And the stability at this moment, I don't know when the wish came true.
Too much information, trying to shape us into overloaded beasts. Although technology brings us incomparable convenience, wisdom always needs to be developed by ourselves.
Look straight ahead, keep your balance, and wait. The next green light will always come.
