Attack on Titan is coming to Singapore - Rediscovering Singapore Series 5
The "Attack on Titan" exhibition is coming to Singapore at the Science and Art Museum. I went out of the house early in the morning because my ticket was the earliest one. The Museum of Science and Art opens at 10 am, and it was only 9:50 when I arrived, so I spent ten minutes taking pictures of the lotus ponds around the museum.
The beautiful scenery and the warm river wind made the ten minutes pass very quickly, and it was time to enter the venue soon. Maybe I was too active, I was the first person to walk into the exhibition today.
After entering the exhibition, first watch a video to introduce the world view of the comic "Attack on Titan". After watching the film, I was about to make a choice: whether to live outside the walls or live inside the walls. Different choices, walk into different doors, and different doors have different visiting routes.
In fact, most of the two routes overlapped. But because I made a choice, I felt immersed in the process of watching, and it seemed that I was really in the world of the manga. I think this kind of immersion should be stronger for real fans.
There are many cardboard models of cartoon characters in the exhibition, but the giant model of this giant climbing the wall must be the most seductive. In addition to the character models, there are also some cartoon objects in the exhibition, which have been made in kind and are solemnly placed in the glass showcase. It all seems to imply to you that Attack on Titan is a real world.
Of course, the most valuable part of the exhibit is the roughly 180 manuscripts of the author's comics that have never been made public. These manuscripts cooperate with the storyline of the comics and are displayed on the left and right walls of the exhibition. Walking around, it is like walking through the storyline of the entire comics story.
In the exhibition, there are also three rooms where a huge screen is used to project films made especially for the exhibition. Paired with the powerful sound effects, it felt like I was watching a well-made movie.
In the last room of the exhibition, the four walls are covered with manuscripts of the author, one after another, which is very spectacular.
Walking out of the exhibition, I took another photo of the entrance. I end this article with this photo.
I think I had a wonderful Sunday morning.
I hope you all have a nice day.
bless.
