Three Days Book 03|Every day is a good day
Day three:
Write down an ideal experience in your life when you collaborated with others, and share the story with us.
For example, what are the collaboration, interpersonal relationships, emotions, and connections involved?
I have talked about similar experiences before in Seven Days Book S5E5 | Beyond Eight Hours and Seven Days Book S5E6 | Across Mountains and Seas .
To be able to reach the "optimal", of course, I have experienced a lot of "not ideal"😄⋯⋯But I am too young to say "optimal", so let me share the ideal experience I have had so far.
That is: at this moment! (I type this sentence with joy⋯⋯)
The movie says "every day is a good day" and the poem says "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may" (I only know this sentence because of the movie). The ideal life is all in the mind of the creator. It is also in the minutes and seconds that everyone can feel it personally.
There was a violent storm here this morning. When I woke up and there was a power outage, the house was dark (because all windows in Portugal are equipped with blackout roller blinds, and electric ones cannot be opened without power). My first reaction, as I work remotely, was to tell my work group My colleagues there reported the situation, and after chatting, they called me ten minutes later. There was a roar of wind outside the window, so I recorded a short video on my mobile phone. After adjusting it to black and white, it looked like the footage in the movie "The Turin Horse". The room is warm, and the lights in the office room are warm and yellow. Then the work efficiency is extremely high.
In the afternoon, I saw that Netflix had the audacity to film "One Hundred Years of Solitude". I was surprised and looking forward to the Christmas month to see if it could capture the goosebumps I felt when reading the last few pages of the book. I shared it on social media and posted a book review I wrote when I was reading the book, "After reading it, I realized that what I was holding in my hand was the parchment of Melquíades." One commenter said, "The translator once mentioned that Marquez was also a book reader. The translator of the character in the book, the real author is Melquíades, the character in the book wrote this book." I said, "That is really the highest state of writing." Across the screen, I was unexpectedly connected to the reading experience of strangers.
I got off work early and moved to the living room to start writing this article. As a result, the cat jumped on my lap and occupied the spot where the notebook should be. Of course, it was important to take the cat photo first😂
At work, you have the freedom to choose your office location; you don’t have to be in the office, you have the freedom to chat with colleagues or not, so you also have the freedom to focus on doing things without being distracted; if you want to socialize or meet friends, you can take your computer to another place The freedom of living in a city (last month I went to another country to meet colleagues I hadn’t seen for many years, and I felt “very impressed”). Outside of work, it’s all about the freedom to pursue your hobbies, spend time with your lover and cats, and move towards your ideals.
This is the ideal experience today.
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
