The growth rate of Desmos has slowed down compared to last week, but it is still rising, but the overall currency price has been very miserable recently, so the income should still be worse than before. Overall, I am not worried about the development and technology of Desmos, but I am worried that the blockchain market has not focused on specific application areas, and in the short term, most of the heat will still be concentrated on broad and vague topics, which can attract funds.
In addition, the market does not like the theme of social applications, because most of them are "real applications" that require users to spend money to consume, rather than "spend money to make money" capital disks, such as GameFi is an example: if your game can't Making money, that is currently not loved by anyone in the blockchain.
Review your identity on the blockchain
Around the end of March, cheqd was airdropped to some holders of the Cosmos ecosystem. According to the rules announced by the team at the beginning, they only need to pledge ATOM to be eligible to receive it. It was originally a very normal airdrop.
However, many people found that after the airdrop was officially released, they could not receive the wallets they should have been eligible for. The team immediately announced on Twitter that they used some rules to find out that the "airdrop hunter" excluded the qualifications of these wallets, and tagged some Well-known teams in the Cosmos ecosystem said they are willing to share this "airdrop hunter list".
Expectation gap
This behavior may seem like a good intention, but it has caused dissatisfaction in the general community. The main reason is the gap in expectations: at the beginning, you say you are qualified, but at the end, you will be disappointed.
But if this is the case, there is no need to write it in the weekly newspaper. After all, the airdrops are meant to be taken more, and the people who receive the airdrops do not consume, and the team does not give them, and there is no reason to complain.
phishing enforcement
The point that many people are concerned about at first is that the rules mentioned above are suddenly changed, and they lose their qualifications for airdrops; however, I think there is something fundamentally wrong with this "blacklist" of airdrop hunters.
If you want to compare it to the real world and catch "unscrupulous elements", then this practice of "providing airdrop benefits, deliberately designing flawed rules, and then blacklisting you" is similar to the police's fishing law enforcement. Controversial behavior, because the team is also in some ways actively contributing to it.
What's more, the real-world phishing law enforcement has first defined what is "illegal"; and the cheqd team unilaterally publishes the "criminal list" in a black box afterwards, which makes it even more difficult to understand where the rationality comes from.
Use the logic of the blockchain to do a realistic identity review
Looking at the disqualification, there are two types of people, one is to open more wallets, and the other is that the IP is located in a country/region that they think is "illegal". shield.
Regarding the rules for opening multiple wallets, I didn't go into depth about whether they use on-chain data or front-end IP to correspond, so I only talked about the part of blocking IP.
After all, the cheqd team seems to think that the corresponding link between on-chain qualifications and off-chain IP is similar to the review done by many central exchanges in IEO issuance of tokens.
This matter is worth thinking about. If the blockchain also corresponds to the identity of each person, it is also attached to the existing power structure to some extent; but if not, it may be difficult to complete this long transition. Expect.
According to my guess, the future may be the integration of on-chain and off-chain, and a state of semi-decentralization. After all, human beings are used to being lazy, and they still have to hand over their accounts to some central agencies for management, so that the blockchain can be popularized.
Although the logic of the cheqd team seems to go against the original intention of the blockchain, it is very likely that this will be the mainstream in the future. Moreover, the vast majority of blockchain teams will want to be the most powerful judge (the center in a decentralized world), and these people are just taking a most realistic path that decentralized believers are unwilling to admit. .

validator node
I have validator nodes with the same name in LikeCoin / Desmos , support is welcome.
In addition to the validator nodes opened in my own name, I also joined #decentralizehk as a member of the team, and compiled a public list of Chinese validators. If you cannot find which validator to pledge to, you can refer to it.
Cosmic Toolbox
Continue to collect and produce a variety of useful tools and information, because I don't have the time to make a web page, most of them are presented in Google sheets.
- Cosmos Chinese Community Node List
- Cosmos node pledge income trial calculation
- Cosmos VC Participation Project List
- DAO Ecological Power Comparison

Cosmos TW Community
The Cosmos universe is very broad. In addition to the well-known Cosmos hub ($ATOM) and LikeCoin ($LIKE), the well-known Terra ($LUNA) and Crypto.com ($CRO) also use the Cosmos SDK, but because the ecology is still in its early stages At this stage, there are not many traditional Chinese resources, so the establishment of this group allows everyone and myself to learn and communicate more efficiently.
