Pedestrian am I the biggest?

Did you ever feel the same way as me? Riding a bicycle or driving on the road, no matter whether there is a sign or not, but there is a zebra crossing, and you are about to turn, you see pedestrians on the line who can go faster, but slowly cross the road, and some people even look at their mobile phones while walking. . Just because he knows you have to wait for him to walk by before you can start.

Whenever I see such a pedestrian, I want to secretly curse (Am I bad? 🤔) On the contrary, some of the original drivers have become pedestrians themselves, and they have also become such people who want to be scolded in their hearts. Did you really change your head when you changed positions? Why is this? Do pedestrians have a "I'm the biggest" mentality?

Many years ago, my husband and I drove to the city and passed an intersection. Our side was a one-lane intersection. It was a red light. We patiently waited for the green light to start. In my impression, that day was a holiday. There was a lot of traffic on the road, and there were many pedestrians shopping on the road. When the signal light on our side had turned green, the pedestrians still did not intend to stop, not even a single one stopped. We were in a bit of a hurry, because the intersection is not big and the green light time is not long, so the master slowly drove forward a little bit, thinking that maybe we can let pedestrians know the current light signal and stop, at that time, unexpectedly Someone angrily slapped the hood of our car, glared at us with a look of disgust that they were pedestrians and we shouldn't be moving, and even slapped us on the hood as if we were running a red light superior.

There were a lot of cars waiting for the green light to pass behind us that day, and it was really infuriating to encounter these pedestrians who didn't take the traffic signs seriously. I really wanted to get out of the car and reason with them and let them know that they were running a red light!

Helpless, I still held back, because I was afraid that when I got off the train, the light had already changed to a red light, and I took my own humiliation... In fact, the real reason is: I don't dare (vulgar boy)

I think this kind of thing should happen in many places in Taiwan. The point is, can pedestrians really ignore traffic signs? Is it the biggest as long as you walk on a zebra crossing? Traffic signs should be above the zebra crossing, right?

🚦🚦🚦🚦🚶🚶🚶🚶

I once saw in a news story that a motorcyclist had no time to brake and crashed because a pedestrian ran a red light. At this time, a line of text appeared in the news, which read "Pedestrians are fined 300 yuan for violations, and motorcycle riders are fined 3600 yuan for failing to give way to pedestrians."

Maybe it's just the headline for the news to catch the eye. But if this is the case, I can't help but wonder if there is any reason for this, and the person who caused the car accident is only fined 300 yuan? And is it illegal? If this is the case, it is really unfair.

Thinking back to the few car accidents I have had, usually it was a small car accident, and the police would hope that everyone could reach a settlement in private without having to go to court. Therefore, it is dealt with in the mediation committee of the district office. One of them made me very angry, not entirely because the other party was willing to pay compensation, but because the basic quality of the mediator was too poor. You couldn't reach a settlement, so you had to send it to the court, with no intention of completing the mediation. Less than 20 minutes from entering to leaving.

The right of way is a very important part in determining the responsibility of both parties in a car accident, and the committee member could not interpret it correctly. I was very disappointed, and the other party felt that he was not responsible for the accident. Of course, what happened to the mediation? may succeed.

Afterwards, I specifically called the traffic team in charge of the case to inquire. The police officer clearly told me that the right of way on my side was greater than that on the other side. That is, the other party needs to bear the main responsibility.

Due to the unprofessionalism of the committee members, the loss of spirit and time has caused me to be unable to successfully claim the compensation according to the proportion. At that time, I was the injured party, and the other party didn't pay attention, but the result of the mediation made him think that he could avoid blame.

Although I decided to forgive him in the end and didn't ask for any compensation, I just asked for a red envelope according to his wishes. ( Even if there is only 600 yuan in it, I will happily accept it, this is my choice. It means that my heart is really good ( laughs)

🚘🚖🚘🚖🚘🚖

There must be a lot of similar situations in the car accident that happened in Taiwan. If it is the pedestrian's fault, like the motorcycle rider in the news above, if you encounter such a committee member again, wouldn't it be dumb to eat Huanglian? If every traffic case had to go to court, what else would a mediator do.

Ordinary people sometimes don't even know how to properly fight for their rights and interests. If the party representing a credible unit is so unprofessional, it is truly unimaginable.

Of course, there are still many members who are professional and have a sense of justice. I can't overturn a boat with one stroke.

There are all kinds of people in the society. I personally think that as long as they hold positions related to credibility, they should have basic professional knowledge. Besides, they are not the ones who paid the money!

The above is just my own small point of view. Maybe I don't know much about the law. I just talk about it from my own experience. In retrospect, the anger in my heart seems to have never left. When this kind of incident carries an unfair judgment, it will really cause many people a mental and even financial burden! Can't be cautious!
