The younger son took the college entrance examination today with a very auspicious score of 666, and was admitted to the University of Science and Technology of China. I learned from my neighbors that my son's high school is one of the top high schools in the city. There are a total of 11 classes in Senior Three, 2 are key classes, 2 are secondary key classes, and the rest are ordinary classes. The son's grades are good in the key classes. All of their classes reached or exceeded the first tier, and Tsinghua and Peking University also had the most.

And other non-key classes are not bad, with a minimum score of 580. That is to say, even most of the ordinary classes are admitted to 985 universities. Therefore, high school is really very important, and a good university is basically guaranteed for a child to be admitted to a key high school. This kid's score can actually go to Peking University, it's just that he chose the University of Science and Technology of China because he chose a good major.
