The Origin of Maritime Silk Road, Maritime Poetry Road, Summer 2017

In the summer of 2013, I visited Shanghai, the first foreign port city in my life, because of the travel grant program organized by China Travel Magazine. Record my feelings and memories of her with my voice.

In the next few years, I went to Hong Kong, Macau and Guangzhou, and then went to the South China Sea, set foot on Zheng He's voyage to the Western Ocean, and visited several port cities in Southeast Asia. I remember that one day in the journey, when I looked back on the past, I discovered that the trajectories of these life practices had unknowingly traveled along the Maritime Silk Road.

In the summer of 2017, I was honored to be invited by Travel China Magazine again, so, in the dark, it seemed that I was destined to embark on this Haisi journey.

The Maritime Silk Road not only conveys goods and goods, but also the collision, meeting and integration of civilizations. It is also a channel for travelers of countless ethnic groups to navigate the unknown and their own journeys.

In this trip, I mainly take the water route, supplemented by the land route, starting from my hometown - Keelung Port, heading to Quanzhou, the largest port in the East, passing through Guangzhou, Xuwen and Hepu, visiting the ancient maritime Silk Road ruins, sailing to a series of life The important paths of the past, present and future.


Combining soundscape, poetry and graphic photography, I created the poetry collection "Silk Road on the Sea, Poetry Road on the Sea". This sea voice poem records the voyage of the voice traveler, and also witnesses the many stories of the Maritime Silk Road that have been passed down through the ages.
