"Cloud Supervisor" and "Small Fork Sauce": Are the workers working, or are the forklifts moving?

Author: Feng Xiyi

Recently, CCTV News reported a piece of news on its official Weibo account, saying, "The 'cloud supervisors' who were bored and couldn't sleep watching live broadcasts to build hospitals named the equipment at the construction sites of Huoshenshan and Leishenshan hospitals. : Little red, little green, little yellow, fork sauce, shovel sauce, vomit mud sauce", and pointed out "Praise for the builders who are busy on the front line!"

At first, as an uncle Ben 3, I really found it very novel and interesting. I have always heard that the children who supported the fandom like to give their idols a lot of cute nicknames or nicknames. In fact, I was still a Ben 2 at the time. When I was a teenager, I also secretly followed a girl group on Jiaxing Road. After thinking about it, these children spend their time chasing stars to pay attention to national affairs, which I think is worthy of praise. I couldn't help but be a little bit happy - but soon enough, I wasn't so happy anymore.

I was amazed that these kids sprouted and "idolized" engineering equipment into something that seemed to be personified. For example: they call the forklift "small fork sauce", the forklift is called "small shovel sauce", the concrete mixer is called "vomit mud sauce"... and so on. It seems that this is just their self-creation, but in fact, we must point out that this process of "humanizing" things is actually the same as their previous words and actions of objectifying idols. It is also a kind of in my opinion. to reflect the results of social awareness.

"Xiaochajiang" has a super chat community of the cloud supervisor. Weibo really does a good job of providing services for young people who are homeless.

Traditionally, we believe that an "idol" is not a specific individual in a philosophical sense, but a symbol played by an artist with nurturing and strong interaction with fans. The symbolization of idols—or, to use an older word, materialization—is the result of a combination of idol producers, idol performers, and fans of the fandom. We don't need to give too many examples to prove it, we only need to point out that idols and their actors are not the same entity - many idols must appear to be single and do not want to be in a relationship in front of fans, but in private many of them are eager to be in love or even Secretly fell in love.

But idols are somewhat subjective or dynamic things, and in the process of being materialized and produced, they still retain the personality attributes of the actors-then the "idolization" of the "little fork sauce" is became an intriguing question. If it is said that the personality of idols comes from the performers of idols, and its objectivity comes from the fact that they must meet the requirements of fans - the objectivity or physical properties of "little fork sauces" are easy to understand, because production tools such as forklifts are originally It is the object, the object used by the subject, but where does the subjectivity of the "little fork sauce" come from?

If we only discussed it roughly, we would think that the subjectivity of the "Little Fork Sauce" was created by these young fans, but if we think about it, we will realize that it is not the case. Because any imagination can't be separated from its real basis. The reason why fans can personify and subject the "Little Fork Sauce" is because it does seem to show some kind of dynamism, showing that they are carrying out production activities and building hospitals -- but, a little bit. Anyone with a common sense of Marxism knows that labor tools cannot be directly labored. They must be used by laborers before they can transform labor objects, that is, start production.

Then we can determine theoretically: the subjectivity of the "Small Fork Sauce" is not from their own initiative (because this does not exist), but from the subjectivity and the subjectivity of the workers who operate them Activity, and the process of directly objectifying this subjectivity and dynamism into labor products, that is, the labor of building Huoshenshan and Leishenshan hospitals!

No doubt these young fans got it wrong!

Personally, I have no intention of blaming these children from a professional point of view (but if there are college students who have taken a Mazhe class, I suggest that they think about it), because they are either still young or have no basic knowledge. Theoretical literacy, or because the angle of observation of forklifts, forklifts and concrete mixers is too far to see who is inside. However, I must point out that their materialized consciousness, whether it is idolizing specific actors, or materializing the labor subjectivity of workers into the so-called "subjectivity" of forklifts - this is a kind of development in the developed industrial society. Shaped manifestations of materialized consciousness.

I don't want to accuse these children, but when CCTV News said, "Like the builders who are busy on the front line", can you explain to the children, "Actually, it is the workers who operate the 'Small Fork Sauce' and the 'Shovel Sauce'. Uncles and aunts of workers, we should give them a thumbs up." What? After all, there may be many children who see this Weibo and directly care about forklifts and forklifts!

Therefore, I personally think that the relevant media should explain the real situation and relationship in the propaganda, and call on young people to care about and respect the comrades who are really working on the front line of the fight against the epidemic, instead of worshiping giant objects.

As for the social reality that shaped the materialized consciousness of these fans, I have no ability to continue to comment.

Note: As a philosophical worker, my professional habits tell me to stay calm while writing. But I personally am really sad. very sad. very sad.
