LikeCoin Governance Proposal | Voting Decision on Proposal #23

I will briefly explain the motion, put forward my own ideas, and finally clearly state my voting decision. Proposal : Endorse a committee to manage the Creator's Fund

Introduction :

• Purpose

In the past, the monthly fee matching fund was mainly responsible for the Liker Land team, and this proposal is to change this situation and change it to a committee composed of community members, so that the current relatively centralized situation begins to become decentralized.

• main content

1. Apply for an allocation of 2 million LIKEs from the Community Fund to the Creators Fund for a six-month budget.
2. Form a committee, Creators Fund management committee, to manage the Creation Fund;
3. The term of the above committee shall be one year;

Intention :

• For Creators Fund

My thoughts on the Creators Fund: Its positioning will be to allow creators to experience "creative value". In exchange for creation, creators can also get some feedback through their own works in the initial stage. But I will not ask it to directly support most creators, nor do I want creators to rely too much on creation funds. Creators still need to find their own readers and positioning, learn and strengthen their ability to support themselves through creation, so as to achieve long-term Get creative! . LikeCoin Button and the creation fund also allow works to have a third choice between "open but free" and "paid but closed". I personally hope that knowledge should become a public asset, so that everyone can enjoy it for free! So hopefully this fund will continue forever!

• For Community Fund Grants

There is no special opinion on this. The source and total amount of the creator fund will be left to the committee members to think about in the future. I just wish there was a stable source to keep the creator fund going as long as possible! The proposed 2 million LikeCoins are about half a year's funding, which is also in line with the current daily distribution of 11K LikeCoins. The current daily distribution records can be viewed through this account!

• For committees and commissioners

Compared with the current situation, the Liker Land team is completely responsible and managed by a committee composed of community members, which will improve the current centralized situation. I also prefer a gradual decentralization and continuous evolution approach. Just like the problem that the private key of Liker Land wallet was managed by AuthCore in the past, there is indeed a centralization problem, but it cannot be solved at once. Managing your own private key requires practice and learning, and moreover, someone needs to educate and guide, and someone needs to do it step by step! A community should be shared by all members, not just an individual or a team. In addition to system development and maintenance of verification nodes, there are still many things that can be involved, especially online and offline publicity!

@黄牛山人 is currently a member of the Liker Land team. Having him on the committee can help other committee members understand the current situation.
