In high school, it occurred to me that I wanted to learn to write with my non-dominant hand, that is, with my right hand.
The reason that made me want to write with my right hand is that my left hand is really inconvenient (you can refer to the bitterness of left-handed people), I hoped that I could find different characteristics from others to build my self-confidence (adolescence), I would like to say that if I have both hands If you can write, you will definitely get the praise and admiration of your classmates!
And so, my right-hand exercise journey began...

At the beginning, I couldn't even hold a pen, let alone draw a straight line, so every word I wrote was "extremely ugly", and I couldn't even tell that it was a word, not a child learning to doodle. .
However, I am still not discouraged, I continue to practice on books during the class time (don't learn), and write slowly, stroke by stroke. Even if my hands are sore and I have no sense of accomplishment, I still believe that one day I will write well. As good looking as right handed.

After about a month, the words I wrote with my right hand finally looked like "characters", and I gradually learned to control my strength. However, I hoped that the handwriting on my right hand could look better, so I found a lot of templates on the Internet, and I was looking for it for a long time. I couldn't find the handwriting that caught my eye instantly. After a while, I happened to see a beautiful handwriting on Instagram. I knew immediately: this is what I'm looking for!

After discovering the handwriting of this great god, I continued to trace his writings. During the process, I gradually realized that the text itself is a kind of art, and even the changes in the typography and background can create different aesthetics . In the past, I just studied the correctness of each stroke. I didn't know that the design of characters could be so varied.
After a year or so - practicing on and off - I can probably describe a six-point similarity. I dare not say how similar it is, but I can only say that I try to appreciate the beauty of the work and try to simulate the handwriting.

At first, I imitated the handwriting of the Great God, stroke by stroke. Later, I gradually added my own ideas to the text, and felt that I didn’t need to follow his works completely, so I probably only continue his spirit now and use my right hand to design " own words".
Interestingly, my left hand is my dominant hand for writing since I was a child, so the handwriting has already been formed, but the right hand is the hand I specially trained, and the handwriting is imitated by others, so the handwriting on my left and right hands is completely different , even the way I hold the pen. , the stroke order is different.

At present, I am quite satisfied with the writing results of my right hand. To be honest, I never thought that I would insist on such a "seemingly meaningless" thing. But it took me two or three years to get to this point, and what I got was the sense of accomplishment of "proving that I can do it"!
