Advanced sense = (scarcity^time)/complexity

1. Scarcity

Physical resources with the essence of "scarcity" can only come from "natural resources".

Land, precious metals, oil, coal mines... These "natural resources" are all "limited" in the "earth" basket.

What they have in common is the "fixed total amount" at a certain point in time, so it is "scarce" .

2. Time

What is the time? Time is a "scarce resource" in the hands of "people", because for everyone, 24 hours a day is fixed and cannot be increased, so it is also "fixed in total", so for everyone, the most scarce resource It's "time", not "money".

3. Complexity

So when a thing infinitely magnifies "scarcity" and "time", will it be advanced?

No, there is also a scale that is inversely proportional to "high sense" - "complexity".

"The Great Way is Simple." The more advanced things are, the simpler they are. The sense of sophistication of adults is often reflected in the word "restraint".

E.g:

Why is the aesthetics of the Song Dynasty still considered advanced? Because of restraint .

Why is it primitive to use stone in interior design? Because stone itself is used as a decorative material. Its "scarcity" is advanced enough, and increasing complexity will only reduce its "sense of luxury".

Why do people who are covered in LOGO look less advanced? Because the "complexity" increases, it reduces your "sense of high-level".
