Why do nationalists resolutely oppose Taiwan independence and Taiwan independence arguments?

In a parallel world, there is no South Korea, only North Korea, and the rest are the same as this world, and then the mainstream public opinion around the world will change about the two questions of "Why are North Koreans so miserable" and "How did North Korea become what it is now?" What is it like?

Expert A: From a political point of view, North Korea has implemented an autocratic system since ancient times. Dictatorship and hereditary system are in line with the psychology of the North Korean people and are the choice of the North Korean people. The Kim family is just a copy of the Li Dynasty. Implement a democratic system.

Expert B: The Korean nation has pursued Confucianism since ancient times. Confucianism is conservative and backward, and is incompatible with modern society. North Korea cannot adapt to a market economy and democracy unless it thoroughly criticizes Confucianism.

Expert C: From an economic point of view, North Korea has been a small peasant economy since ancient times, a feudal society, without the soil of a market economy, suitable for autocratic rule. And because North Korea has no chance to colonize, it is impossible to accumulate capital, and it can only engage in industrialization through a planned economy. Without General Kim, North Korea would be further behind than African countries.

Expert Ding: The backwardness of the Koreans began in the Tangun era. Since ancient times, the Koreans have been the slaves of the surrounding powers. They have fought and lost many battles with the Han, the Manchus, the Mongols, and the Japanese, and they have no way to be independent. North Korea can only be saved if it becomes a colony of a great power, or if it disintegrates into three Koreas. Today, North Korea engages in nationalism and requires independence, which led to General Kim's rise to power. General Kim's dictatorship is actually an inevitable result of Korean nationalism. If you want to maintain the unity of the Korean peninsula, you can only let General Kim rule.

Expert E: The deep-seated defect of North Korea is that Hangeul is a backward language, and it is impossible to modernize it without Hangeul. Hangeul has created a dictatorship, and only the abolition of Hangeul can save Korea.

In the end, everyone discussed and came to a conclusion: the Korean nation is one meter three, innately an incompetent dwarf, and has a lot of bad roots in economy/culture/politics/ideology. It was General Kim and the Workers' Party that narrowly stretched North Korea to one meter five. North Koreans can never be modernized unless they are colonized by Japanese or Chinese for 300 years after disintegration.

Some people will raise their hands weakly and ask: "I think East and West Germany are two countries and one nation, because the implementation of different systems is very different, can't our North Korea not be ruled by General Kim and not healthy, and we can't become the same as Japan? developed countries?"

Then the experts roared with laughter, "You Koreans are also worthy of touching porcelain with Germans?"

It is a pity that in this world, there is South Korea, and we have since learned that those "national criticism" of North Korea are nonsense. The North Koreans have no problem at all, the only problem is General Kim and his Workers' Party, that's all.

Similarly, why should a Han nationalist resolutely oppose Taiwan independence? The rationale is the same.

Taiwan is a mirror of the Han people, it just proves what it would be like if the Han people developed normally and caught up with the east wind of industrial transfer after World War II. With only 23 million people and 36,000 square kilometers, Taiwan has grown to where it is today. What if Taiwan has a population of 1.2 billion and 9.6 million square kilometers? Taiwan has established a qualified democratic system and a market economic system. The Han people also have various self-organizations in Taiwan. The traditional religion of the Han people is also dominant in Taiwan. sign. Taiwan developed in the era of the Chiang Kai-shek and Chiang Kai-shek. No matter how Taiwanese try to argue that they are not "Chinese", "Han" or "Chinese" today, they cannot deny that Taiwan was only an agricultural colony during the Japanese colonial period. What does this mean for the Han Chinese? This means that the Han people can fully modernize independently and naturally, realize industrialization and establish a democratic system, without having to lose their national heritage and culture. We can imagine from Taiwan that in a certain parallel world, we can also be like this, our nation has no inferiority at all, and the situation we are in today is entirely the result of the system.

In other words, for the entire Han nation, Taiwan today is a key to freedom. When you hear all the criticism about the Han nationality or decide that the Han people deserve to be slaughtered by the vanguard, you can point to Taiwan and ask, "Why don't the Taiwanese have such inferiority?" When someone claims that the Han Chinese need to be colonized by foreigners for 300 years to modernize, you can still ask, "Why doesn't Taiwan need it?" You can still ask "why Taiwan can"? Of course, these people can say that because Taiwan was ruled by the Japanese for decades, it was "imported" into civilization. But as long as Taiwan is still called the Republic of China, with the Blue Sky and White Sun flag of the Republic of China, and the portrait of Sun Yat-sen on it, his claims will be self-defeating. No one, no matter how stupid, would dare to argue that "Taiwan's development into what it is now depends entirely on the legacy left by the Japanese, and the construction of Chiang Kai-shek and his son is only the fifth steamed bun in Taiwan." You must know that Chiang Kai-shek and his son cannot be called good governance, and the location of Taiwan is far less than that of the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. With Taiwan's small size and a small population, it can develop to where it is today. It does not mean how capable Chiang Kai-shek and his son are, but just how great the capability and potential of our Han people are, and what great achievements they can achieve after World War II.

It is not surprising that a nation has more than one country, as in the Five Eyes alliance of the English. But for the Han people today, it is absolutely impossible to allow Taiwan to become a country. The Taiwanese are trying to de-sinicize, de-sinicize, separate themselves from the Han Chinese, and say that they are an Austronesian nation. If there is a day when Taiwan is no longer called the Republic of China, how can we have a better example to prove that we have no inferiority in the face of those sayings that "Han people have inferior roots"? You say that we have Hong Kong and Singapore, and people will say that this is a good system left by the British, or even that it is because they speak English that the Han Chinese can only develop after being colonized.

Therefore, no Han nationalist can allow Taiwan to become independent, and he must oppose all attempts by Taiwan independence elements to de-sinicize and claim that Taiwan is an independent nation. Only in this way can Han people be free in the future.

Of course, I understand Taiwanese trying to be independent. The two countries, the DPRK and the ROK, are the greatest threat to each other's legitimacy. Only when one is destroyed can the other feel safe, especially the party with questionable legitimacy. If South Korea and North Korea divide the peninsula into two, South Korea will certainly claim to be orthodox. If South Korea only has Jeju Island, facing the powerful North Korea claiming to be the representative of all Koreans, South Korea will definitely try to save itself by "going away from the country", by abandoning the orthodoxy and admitting that the other party is the only Korean country. tribute" in exchange for my own safety, I feel that I no longer call myself "the orthodox and legitimate government of the peninsula", so the other party can spare me.

Unfortunately not. No matter how Jeju Island declares that "the people of Jeju Island are not Koreans", as long as they speak Korean and write Hangeul, anyone with a brain will know that they are Koreans, they live a happy life as normal people, and they do not rely on labor. The party and the great men from heaven can live so well, so their existence is a threat to the North Korean government.

Taiwan independence itself is a stupid act against logic. The Taiwan independence elements think that they have achieved Taiwan independence and they will be safe if they give up claiming that China is orthodox. In fact, it will only make their situation even more dangerous. Only when the last trace of the Republic of China is erased, and the last regime that proves that the Han people can go the other way than being colonized no longer exists, can this dynasty truly become "the only choice for history" and this dynasty can feel safe. Taiwan independence has no meaning other than making them traitors in the eyes of the Han people and the target of public criticism. And when the Han Chinese are truly free, the Taiwanese have no reason or significance for independence.
