Generative art. Collection and management

During the period of self-directed health management, I compiled a document titled "Generating Art. Collection and Management - From 0 to 1, familiar with web3 generative art market collection and management strategy. This document takes you from the most basic introduction all the way to common tools and business strategies.

Generative art is getting stronger recently, but many friends or professionals say it is difficult to enter the context. In fact, in retrospect, every time I introduce it, I have to start from the beginning with "What is the blockchain?" Taipei Contemporary has a generative art unit, the generative art is a key exhibition at Art Basel, and generative art is spreading from the niche field of the NFT world to the physical world.

Therefore, I took advantage of the period of autonomous health management to organize a document called "Generating Art. Collection and Management - From 0 to 1, familiar with web3 generative art market collection and management strategy. This document takes you from the most basic introduction all the way to common tools and business strategies.

This should be the latest and most complete collection of Chinese in the field of generative art so far.

It takes about 150 minutes to read it briefly, and it may take more than 360 minutes to read it carefully. Basically, the entire document is compiled from the currently available information, including Chinese and English. This document is divided into four parts, How Art NFTs Work, Generative Art Collection Guidelines, Generative Art Management Guidelines, Ecosystem Tools and the Future.

A friend suggested that this document should be locked and paid. But I think that the collected data are all public information. I only organize the entire data in the role of a researcher, so I still share it publicly. If you are good enough, you can get good work from it, and even make a profit. But I believe that the vast majority of people need more practical teaching, such as workshops, before they can acquire the mental method and truly engage in it. At the same time, many point of view analysis that are not suitable for keeping the bottom line will not be written on the top of the document. This is the real function of the workshop.

This document organizes a lot of creator information, including a first-person analysis of Ann Chou, a Taiwanese creator who recently entered the largest Tezos market, online live sharing by Wang Xinren and Huang Xin, creators' generative art technology sharing, including an introduction to eziraros How the popular octopus was born, Lin Yiwen shared the process of co-creating generative art, and also the creation and sharing of the fxhash platform founder Ciphrd. This is the third chapter.

In addition to the creators, this document also contains the opinions of many collectors, including the sharing community and knowledge of GalaxyRTK, a big collector in the generative art world, the e-newsletter of Kaloh, an emerging overseas commentator, and the emerging curatorial and commentary multi-sites such as FxTENDER. Organization; Taiwan also has surfing articles by art critic Zhang Yousheng (Mr. Baocheng) and emerging collectors such as hydroponic coriander. This is the second chapter.

In addition to people's opinions, I have also sorted out the necessary basic knowledge such as platform rules, market drivers, and underlying technologies. I hope that interested friends (perhaps self-proclaimed white people) can believe that the entire market is not a bubble. Pass. I put these contents in the first chapter. If you want to see the collection and creation directly, you can skip this chapter first.

The last chapter includes some practical tools, including the necessary tools for judging the sales status of works and collecting popular works (judging gas fees, judging block height, judging contract status, etc.). I believe that it is not easy for you to get started just by recording. If you use these tools, you will have a chance to teach other friends.

The following is a denial. This article does not recommend works (I don’t have the face of running an investment group), there is no technical development of generative art (technical development takes more time, but I can recommend courses), and there are no standard appreciation suggestions (the speed of market change) Too soon, communities everywhere have different tastes and financial depths).

This is a very good era. Creators of generative art often share the creation process, from which we can analyze a lot of information, and collectors are also happy to share their own collection process. At present, the process of technology and market development should have passed the link of "Is generative art art?". At present, emerging commentary, production, collection, and curatorial organizations are emerging all over the world. Some of these people have a background in art, and some Eight poles can't hit. This is a process in which a new paradigm is being created, and so are those who are promising. A mix of contemporary threads, emerging collector tastes, and financial drivers.

The following documents hope to be helpful to friends who are interested in getting to know the generative art market, and welcome to share them.
