[Rural Development] The story of Laotian villager Phoutthasen raising cattle

From 2005 to 2008, Phoutthasen raised pigs on a piece of land owned by the village of Koen in Laos. Animal husbandry is an integral part of a farmer's life, and like many of his villagers, Phoutthasen tries to make a living. However, he could not find a suitable market, especially one or two pigs at a time. He had to raise and sell more pigs to earn enough income, but with limited funds, he could not afford to expand the business.
