Except for a small number of people who use travel as their job, most people only classify travel as a leisure activity, and it is also a high-consumption activity. According to the logic of ordinary people, you must make money first, and then travel, because the purpose of travel is to "sigh the world": stay in luxury hotels, taste local delicacies, and go shopping. The designated action every day during the trip is "get on the bus to rest, get off the bus to take pictures, and go shopping in the middle". The reason for the emergence of "duck-catcher-style tour groups" is to cater to the needs of such travelers who think that it is worthwhile to see and run more. However, real travel is not as comfortable and dreamy as we imagine.

In "My Little Adventures", travel documentary filmmaker Gillian S. Robinson tells everyone what constitutes a real trip. The author spent six years following Lawrence, Henry. Follow in the footsteps of several literary icons, including Miller and Hemingway, to their favorite places. Along the way, she discovers that every writer has been completely life-changing because of their travels. They sing about the places they have walked, immerse themselves in them, and reinvent themselves. So she also traveled around the world, interviewing all kinds of travelers, including those who had met while filming travel shows, old friends, and even friends of friends, and listened to them tell about their travel experiences: people who lost their enthusiasm for life Middle-aged woman Avery went to New Zealand to experience farm life; artist Barbie encountered flash floods while hiking in the Grand Canyon, allowing her to experience the original power of nature; entrepreneur Michael challenged the limit and played cliff diving in Jamaica; Film director Jeremy traveled to Europe as a young man with a musical instrument and a meager amount of money...these people get a glimpse of their unexplored selves in the process. Travel allows them to find more confidence and courage, learn to take risks, live in the moment, be grateful and live a prosperous life, and enhance their relationship with the world.

Through the stories of nearly 70 travelers and the footprints of many well-known writers, the book allows everyone to see how travel can change lives. As said in the book, after traveling, your horizons will definitely expand, you will no longer be willing to be small, and you will also integrate the cultures you have come into contact with during the trip. Therefore, many people will not be able to go back to the past once they return from the trip. of themselves, they will find that they can live a different way—a way that suits them better.

If you feel like your life is unleavened dough, with all the flavors and nutrients, but lacking what makes the dough rise, then please stand up and go out and take a little risk, or Take a nature-themed trip, or explore unseen places in the city where you live, because such an experience can help you grow, and so can the memory of the experience. When you bring back the experience gained in this kind of travel and integrate it into your life, your life journey will be more fulfilling and exciting. So, the trip doesn't end on the day you go home, but the most important trip is always the next one.
