Tech giants and ethical double standards

In their pursuit of profit, tech giants often ignore the ethical duality of technology, especially when it comes to the freedom and human rights of foreign peoples. While contemporary society emphasizes political correctness on many issues, the ethical standards of these companies appear to be duplicitous. They should recall that real heroes are not only innovators but also those who respect the rights of everyone.
Concept map

In this increasingly digital world, tech giants seem to have become our modern heroes, lighting up our dark lives with their technological solutions. But when these companies choose to pursue profits over ethics, should we still call them "heroes"?

Think about it, when Cisco Systems partnered with the Chinese Communist Party to develop technology used to monitor and oppress its people, did they consider the two-sided nature of the technology? Perhaps they just see this as an opportunity to make money and ignore its far-reaching social impact. After all, business is business, what about ethics? That's another thing.

But wait, aren’t there some things called “political correctness” that deserve special attention? BLM, LGBTQ, #MeToo, the environmental movement—these are all issues worthy of attention. But why does the moral compass of these tech giants seem to veer off course when it comes to the freedom and human rights of foreign peoples?

Perhaps, as George Orwell described in Animal Farm, all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. After all, as long as there is money to be made, who cares about the rights and freedoms of those faraway people?

Therefore, we would like to remind those giants who dominate the technology world: as you continue to develop amazing technologies, please do not forget the humanity and morality behind the technology. Because real heroes are not just those who change the world, but those who respect and protect the rights of everyone.
