Dilemma separated by the epidemic

He was also beating Mr. Ni's heart that he was concerned about his career, and he became wanting to go back to work as soon as possible. Maybe there is more need for him there? But this land is his root and home? Even if he wanted to move his family to the city where he worked, there were too many issues to consider, making it difficult for him to make a clear decision.

Getting up early, before the sun lit up the sky, I rushed out in the dark, preparing to take Mr. Ni to the airport and return to Rongcheng.

His itinerary was in such a hurry that when he returned to Taiwan, he first encountered a flight delay and landed at 23:59, so he needed to add one more day of quarantine. After 15 days, I came out and spent two weeks with my family I hadn't seen for more than a year, and then I was going to go back to quarantine for two weeks to continue fighting for my career.

During my stay in Taiwan, I made an appointment to meet twice. Although it was like visiting a shop together in the past, I met in a coffee shop, but because of the epidemic, I felt very uncomfortable. The ecology of the coffee shop also made Mr. Ni seem very unfamiliar when he was away for a long time. There was no place to explore that could immediately jump out of his mind. In the end, he relied on Google Maps to find nearby stores.

The sunlight in the morning is particularly dazzling because of the angle. It has been a long time since I felt the pulse of this society during the morning rush hour. I saw many groups of people who were doing morning exercises in the morning. During the sweating exercise with strict masks, I also saw children wearing uniforms. Line up to buy breakfast in a homely alley. Office workers ride motorcycles through the streets, and there is a significant difference compared to the deserted period during the epidemic alert period.

After lining up on the interchange, head to the airport, which is less than half an hour's drive away. Discussing with Mr. Ni about the feeling of returning to Taiwan this time, I can quite realize the invisible alienation feeling from all relatives, friends and colleagues due to being away from Taiwan for a long time. Everyone has their own original rhythm and pace of life. Of course, everyone welcomes the appearance of Mr. Ni, but they have to move forward, and it is impossible to put down their original work and stop. The children still go to and from school every day, and Mr. Ni's pick-up and drop-off also seems to be slightly different from the children's daily habits, and even a trace of strangeness appears.

All of the above seem to be hitting Mr. Ni's heart that he was concerned about his career, and he would want to go back to work as soon as possible. Maybe there is more need for him there? But this land is his root and home? Even if he wanted to move his family to the city where he worked, there were too many issues to consider, making it difficult for him to make a clear decision.

Haven't these troubles happened in the past? In the past, Mr. Ni did not have the requirements of the epidemic prevention policy, and the number of flights between the two sides of the strait was intensive, so despite the hard work, he could be considered to be diligent enough to run back and forth. So this problem was solved by his intensive travel. But now the situation has changed drastically, and these situations have emerged one after another.

When they arrived at the airport and accompany him to unload their luggage, they said goodbye to each other with respect. The complicated feelings in their hearts should only be experienced by each other.
