Come and eat a hearty and delicious dog food together - comment on the Thai movie "Go! Goddess Corps

Some scenes of the movie were filmed in Hong Kong

"Go! "Goddess Corps" is really vicious. After watching the whole movie, it turned out to be feeding people dog food and doing all kinds of fancy tricks, trying to make everyone full before leaving. The male protagonist uses himself as an example of success, and gives unrealistic hope to the Guanyin soldiers in the movie and in front of the screen, telling them to continue to struggle and one day they will win the return of the beauty.

"Is there pure friendship between men and women?" has always been a question that people are keen to discuss. The great thing about this movie is that the male and female audiences can probably project their own fantasies on the male and female protagonists, and then resonate.

Movies are like travel programs. In addition to filming in several cities in Thailand, they also went to several Asian cities such as Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. It can be seen that the film has ambitions for the Asian box office. The scene in Hong Kong is very important to the plot of the whole play, and it can be considered to be the urban feature of Hong Kong, but the scene in Kuala Lumpur is actually not important, and almost all of it is in the hotel, so it may not be the feature of Malaysia. (Maybe Huang Mingzhi's cameo is the biggest Malaysian feature), you can totally avoid going to Kuala Lumpur in order to save money.

The image of the heroine is pure and pleasing

Thinking about the vision of Hong Kong movies in the past, it is not limited to Hong Kong or China and Hong Kong. Romance movies can also fly across the sea and fly to foreign countries to shoot. "Autumn Fairy Tale" was almost filmed in New York. Hong Kong movies about love are now either all shot in Hong Kong, euphemistically called "local flavor", or they go between China and Hong Kong. It's like a foreign country - of course, most of the big directors are not interested in the theme of love, after all, this is not the most profitable, but it is not that there are no directors who can deal with the theme of love in Hong Kong, but it seems that there is no progress. Romance movies are actually the easiest to introduce new actors, and Hong Kong film actors have encountered faults and problems of getting out. Part of the reason may be the lack of production of love movies or the localized treatment of love movies. To make a romantic movie that can go out, you can also go out with the actors.

The Chinese market is huge, which is both a temptation and a curse. With China's population of more than one billion as potential audiences, after earning their money, they lose interest in other film markets, so they are unwilling to spend time to please them. The rise of Thai and Indian films in recent years is a real blow to the struggling Hong Kong films. People in Southeast Asian countries do not necessarily have much more shooting resources than Hong Kong. I hope that the next time we can have a good meal of dog food, it is not a Thai director, not a Taiwanese director, but a local director from Hong Kong.
