Today is the 20th anniversary of ENERGY. I have been thinking about it for a long time and don't know whether to write it? Then write, what should I write? Write about their current situation? Or write about the mood of buying an album before? Or do you want to write their songs that are still in my phone?

The more I think about it, the more I feel that I don't know where to start, but I also think that there is nothing in my life that has a "twenty-year" history that I can "talk about", so it will probably be time-based, and then I think In whatever form I wrote, I recorded the most important boy group in my life.

Time back to 2002.

Twenty years ago in my memory, when I was about 10 years old, I had an unstoppable curiosity about everything in this world. At that time, the Internet at that time had to be connected to the Internet, and the home phone could not be called, and there was no official In an era when social networking sites could not get all the information of all the favorite artists at any time, the entertainment news broadcasted live every night was one of the very important channels for getting information; there was no YouTube before to watch MV anytime, so I relied on Channel V and MTV. Come to listen to the new song.

Just one day, when I heard the new song "More Than Words", the five boys in the MV were wearing silver-white suits. I still remember that the MV edited the side shots of them when they were taking pictures. The melody sings what is called friendship. The singer's name appeared at the end of the MV, so I learned the word: ENERGY.

The next step is to quickly memorize the names of these five brothers: Milk, Shuwei, TORO, Kunda, and Adi. My favorite as a kid was kunda.

Later, I began to see them on the show, they had their new news, they were playing "Let Go" wherever they went, and there were more new MVs - "Fall in Love with You for the Second Time"... These five The boy, bearing the title of "The Most Killing Dance Group", captured the hearts of the girls at that time like a storm.

On August 29 of the same year, 49 days after his debut, he stood on the stage of Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and held a concert. After that, there were more MVs, autographs, album revisions, sales press conferences, overseas autographs... These five boys wrote many miracles in that year.

Soon, the next year these five boys brought a new album "Flawless", another classic one after another, "Love Me One More Day", "Ra-Men Song"... I didn't know that until I grew up. Sometimes many songs are covers of foreign songs. They also started to have more endorsements, such as Ramen Road, Doritos, etc. At that time, they would get their photo cards when they bought goods. I recently cleaned up the room and saw a lot of hahaha. This period also began to publish books, writing about their childhood - "My ENERGY", and also a photo shoot in Japan - "Power Generation".

In July 2003, the third album. The title song "Exorcism Record" and the well-known "A Certain Day in a Certain Month in a Certain Year" are all from this album. I only found out about these two songs later, one is from Super Junior and the other is from Se7en hahaha. My personal favorite of this album is "OH! YES".

But before this album was released, rumors of ENERGY's disbanding began to be heard. Although the album was still released in a formation of five people, but gradually the schedule began not to run with five people, and the rumors of "dissolution" at that time also made fans feel uneasy.

Looking back at this matter now, and thinking about it seriously, they were only in their early twenties at the time, and they were only halfway through college, so they could still have a carefree life, but they had to experience the dangers of reality. Maybe not mature enough to be patient, not sophisticated enough to know how to protect oneself, plus it should be entrusted to inhumans.

At least for the past 20 years, I feel that the brokerage company has not planned to continue the acting career of these five boys in a long-term way. It means that TORO has creative talent. In fact, from the first At the beginning of the album, many words/songs were written by TORO, but most of their main songs were covers of foreign songs, and they did not emphasize the style of music belonging to ENERGY.

In such a short period of one year, ENERGY went through the debut, became popular, and became a brokerage dispute. The team became milk, Shuwei, Kunda and Adi and continued to use the name of ENERGY. Both the brokerage contract and the record contract belonged to Universal, TORO After joining Qiao Jieli, the news of the ENERGY four was blocked by "Complete Entertainment", and their momentum quickly fell.

In January 2004, continuing the tradition of releasing an album in half a year, this wave launched a new song + a selection of "ENERGY4EVER". The group of four brought 4 new songs, and also announced ENERGY FOREVER with the album name. My personal favorite of this album is "Continue", and now I still listen to it whenever I encounter a low ebb, and the lyrics seem to be shouting to themselves and their former partner TORO:

At this time, TORO published the book "Opening a Can of Tuna" and wrote about his childhood and a little bit of broker disputes. TORO later joined Qiao Jieli not only to create for the brothers and sisters of the same company (5566, R&B, etc.), but also began filming, performing "Snow Angel" and singing the theme song "Forgetting Love".

TORO has also gained a lot of popularity after going solo. At this time, fans who support TORO and fans who continue to support ENERGY begin to compare who is more popular. At this time, TORO and Qiao Jieli formed a "Typhoon" with two other artists. After a short period of action, the scandal of TORO came out. At that time, idols were not allowed to fall in love, and TORO was frozen.

In July 2004, the TV series "The Dance of Michael" tailored a dance-based idol drama for ENERGY. At that time, it was also when Han Xing began to film in Taiwan, and the heroine was Li Xizhen. "Michael's Dance TV Soundtrack" also released six new songs based on ENERGY. The main songs are "Hey! YOU", "I Hear Angels Sing", and my favorite is "Until the End".

Because of being blocked by "Complete Entertainment", ENERGY has become a "100% Entertainment" promotion that can only be played against Taiwan. Luo Zhixiang, who was popular during this period, has more interactions with ENERGY and became good friends. They hosted together. "Variety Show This Saturday is the Funniest", and the song "Let's Go Together" in "Michael's Dance TV Soundtrack" also has Luo Zhixiang's chorus.

In 2004, he also started drama and hosting. TVBS G's "5℃ FUN Selling Machine" and "Entertainment News" were both hosted by ENERGY. In these two shows, I was able to get in touch with more ENERGYs. Because of the live broadcast and a lot of on-the-spot reactions, I got to know their original personalities better. They actually like to joke, not the packaged, cool ones. ENERGY. Since this year, they have also begun to take on theatrical performances as individuals. For example, Kunda's "Male Dingle" is a warm story of a male nurse who is off-line and meets all kinds of people in the hospital.

In June 2005, "The Last Paradise" was released, and the title songs were "Heaven and Earth" and "The Taste of Tears". This album is said to be the last album of ENERGY. When this album was released, it came with a limited-edition bracelet. Four people, one color, milk red, Shuwei gray, Kunda white, and Adi black. When I was a child, I only Bought black, and it took many years to collect all four colors. By the way, at the beginning of this album, I think the clothes finally look better, hahaha.

"Everything In My Heart" on this album also accompanied me through that long-distance relationship.

In fact, it has only been three years since his debut, but ENERGY and his fans seem to have gone through a lot. It is also rumored that this is the last album. The title, tracks and even the lyrics of this album rarely contain words written by them to fans... In fact, it really looks like the last ripple of ENERGY, but The last song is called "I will come back", and this song is the same as the last song "OUTRO" of the first album. After the music is over, they have recorded their usual private voices. This is the first time I listened to this song. This album, when I was thirteen years old, I felt the fear of the future strongly for the first time, and I was very afraid that there would be no ENERGY in the future.

Later I heard a saying: "The Last Paradise" is the last album of the four.

In August 2006, "Ape Man" was released. Milk withdrew from ENERGY. The members during this period were: Shu Wei, Kun Da and Adi. They began to act in a team of three, with Shu Wei as the head of the group. I was in middle school when this album was released, and many of my classmates didn't know ENERGY anymore.

The main feature of this album is "orangutan human", which means that primates evolved from orangutan to human, and then evolved into "orangutan human", expressing the attitude of rebirth from ashes and not admit defeat with the new variety of "orangutan human". The three returned to the music scene with brand-new music and dance, as well as the strength of more frustration and courage. This album also has new songs tailored by Mayday and Zhou Chuanxiong. In the new dance, the trio are equipped with grown orangutan arms, bringing a new dance style. The group members also began to write lyrics by themselves (only TORO would be the only one before).

On September 1 of the same year, the three returned to the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to hold a concert of ten thousand people.

Writing this, I began to admire them, who were still so young at the time, for having the courage and confidence to not give up to accept new challenges again and again, year after year. I seem to know why I like them until now. Of course, now I just care and support them from afar, and I will no longer insist on buying products endorsed by them hahaha.

In October 2007, he released "Born Against the Bone", joined Xinxue Xiaogang, and returned to the group of four. As a fan, you can actually feel ENERGY's efforts and perseverance not giving up. In 2008, he hosted "Roll! "Energy" and "SUPER ENERGY" on location programs, challenging all walks of life, experiencing fire brigade, women's Sanda, practicing men's gymnastics, etc. It was a very hard program. I felt sorry for them while watching it. However, it is thus possible to glimpse the bitterness behind different industries.

In November 2008, "Alternative Life" and the song with the same name were published. The four of them combined their experience of hosting "SUPER ENERGY" with their childhood stories and wrote their own "Alternative Life". The side of ENERGY, shows us a very emotional ENERGY.

 Some people say that you have to work hard to join the popular life to be happy. In fact, you can find love in an alternative life. You are envied as your favorite thing. Give it with sincerity. That happiness is better than getting the most expensive gift. Some people say that winning a popular life is satisfying. The valley that the fewest people go to invest for myself, not for the sake of winning or losing, I smiled and learned that there are many ways to go to the future

When I was a freshman in high school, I didn’t understand the lyrics at that time, until I became the president of the university. On the day when the results of the club evaluation came out, I won the second place. I was so excited with my friends that I couldn’t sleep and didn’t want to break up, so I hung out all night. I played this song the morning I got back to the dormitory, and I understood it.

In 2012, on the tenth anniversary of their debut, fans held a dinner party to commemorate the tenth anniversary of ENERGY's debut. Since all five of them belonged to different agencies, it was impossible to hold such an event in the official name, so this event was held by fans and invited Five people came to participate in the event, and it was very happy that day, watching the five people fit together, watching their tacit understanding and friendship still exist, and watching their own growth in the past ten years.

On July 13, 2017, the five people suddenly sang a lot of songs on the KTV live broadcast. I was on the night shift on the way that day, watching their live broadcast while waiting for the late check-in guests, watching the five people sing their own songs together, the same thing Seeing their tacit understanding and friendship become stronger over time, I also gained courage, and believed that I was still a fan of ENERGY, and I was even more convinced that ENERGY would not disappear or disappear.

Kunda got married in 2018. I was expecting ENERGY to get together, but Milk and TORO did not attend. Although it is a pity, it is really because they are good enough and know each other well, so there is no regret! Such friendships are precious.

In the past few years, they have been busy with their own affairs. Milk and TORO have their own careers. The other four people continue to be active in the entertainment industry in different ways, such as dramas, movies, program hosts, etc. , Although the contract disputes of the year can already be talked about as a joke, the day when they can really fit together should be far away.

But they have experienced so many things together since they were in their teens or twenties. Their friendship and feelings are real, and the courage and growth they bring to fans are real. On the contrary, can they be in front of the screen and the media? Fitting, I don't think it's the most important thing anymore. Adi said that the five of them have known each other for almost half their lives. In other words, ENERGY has also occupied them and half of our lives.
