"You Only Owe Me An Apology"

The picture is taken from the Internet

This film is very good, not only highly praised, but also the first foreign language film nominated for the Oscar on behalf of Lebanon.

The original title of the film in Arabic, قضية رقم ‎٢٣, is literally translated into English as: Case No. 23 (Case 23). At first glance, it seems a little confusing. What is going on? After seeing the uncontrollable scenes and confrontations, I thought of the title of this film, which is really good.

It started out as a Palestinian refugee and a Lebanese who hated the Palestine Liberation Army, one day because of a "super boring" little thing. No one is willing to let anyone, especially after knowing the identity of the other party, such a small thing also triggers hatred between the country and the family. Even if they already know that they should not continue to let the hatred grow, but it has developed to this point. what to do.

However, before watching this movie, if possible, it is better to understand a little about the conflict between Lebanon and Palestine and the origin of the entire historical background.

In addition to the racial antagonisms, the film also cleverly arranges the naked and bloody dialogue between generations. I especially like the conversation in the garage.
