Memories of Overseas Volunteers

A friend once told me that you must try overseas volunteering in your life. If you don’t try overseas volunteering, you will lose a great experience. I still doubted its authenticity at that time. After working for a while after graduating, I decided to sign up for overseas volunteering, and later found it to be a really great experience.

When I volunteered overseas, the country I went to was Bangladesh. In fact, my job was to distribute stationery and teach children simple English words. At that time, all three meals were curry rice, and I only lived in the location of public welfare organizations, so the living conditions were very poor, I couldn’t sleep for a few hours a day, and of course I didn’t have time to go sightseeing in Bangladesh.
