Wandering Stories with Camera #2 Goryokaku Park in Autumn

Autumn in Taonan is here, and every year from the end of October to the beginning of November is the period for viewing maple leaves.

In fact, the most famous thing in Goryokaku Park is not the maple leaves, but the cherry blossom season and snow. During the cherry blossom season, everyone will go to Goryokaku for barbecue. I just caught up with the Japanese tradition of barbecue in the cherry blossom season a year before the epidemic. In fact, during the cherry blossom season, Hakodate is humid and cold, and the wind is very strong. The cherry blossoms are often blown down by the storm just after they are fully bloomed. Therefore, it is very lucky to be able to see the full blooming cherry blossoms and barbecue on a sunny day.

The day of my barbecue was wet and rainy and I thought I was crazy. Is it bad to sleep at home? ?

The photos at that time were all two years ago. This time I only put the maple leaf photos taken yesterday, and I will have the opportunity to add photos of the cherry blossom season later.

Because I live near Goryokaku Park, I took my camera for a walk yesterday and took a few photos.

In fact, there were more than half of the green leaves yesterday, and only Nei Guo was red. From the outside, there are actually not many trees, so there are more close-up photos. There are a lot of people, there are many students who come for the school trip and the staff who are filming the program.

There is a photo of the maple leaf and the moat, because the file is too big to post, if you are interested, you can go to my Instagram to see that photo.

When I first entered, there were still people feeding the ducks, and a bunch of crows were joining in the fun. I always feel that watching ducks has a kind of peaceful feeling. How nice it is to be idle and sleep on the river like them.

In winter, the river in Hakodate freezes, so you can't see the ducks floating around leisurely there.

In addition, the crows in the Hakodate tourist area are actually a bit scary. The ones near my house are fine, at most they steal open the garbage bags and get the garbage everywhere.

I saw a live crow chasing high school girl reality show in Motomachi before. A female high school student was walking with friends with bubble tea, when suddenly a crow flew down and kicked her in the back of the head as a protest. The group of high school girls started screaming, and her friend just abandoned her and moved aside (this is when you know who your real friends are). The crow kept swooping down from the telephone pole to snatch the pearl milk tea in her hand about three or four times. Later, the heroic Abo came out to chase the crow and drive him away before the farce ended.

My friend and I just breathed a sigh of relief after drinking bubble tea.

Off topic, the crows in Goryokaku are scary too. When I went to a relatively deserted place and started to install the camera, the crows in front of me suddenly jumped towards me, and then several of them also flew above me. Probably because I thought I had food in my backpack. I had the shadow of being chased and beaten by a female high school student before.

But in fact, if you look closely at their eyes, they are still very cute.

I didn’t take pictures of the Goryokaku Tower this time, and I’m not interested in what everyone took (haha). Leave it to everyone to see for themselves!
