be late

How long can you tolerate someone being late? I believe that some people's dictionaries have never been on time. I was very angry yesterday because of being late, so I wrote this article with a feeling.

I read an interview before saying that Hong Kong people's tolerance for being late is about 10-15 minutes. If it exceeds this time, people may get angry, but I can generally accept it within half an hour. I'm not a very punctual person, I have friends who are never late, but I usually arrive at my destination on time, so I often run into latecomers and there are several situations where I get really angry or puzzled.

First, tell others not to be late, and then be late. Once, a group of friends made an appointment for a dinner, and one of them said in the group: "Don't be late, I will be there on time." Well, you ask others not to be late. If you arrive on time, it's fine, at least you keep your promise, but you No, there is no reasonable explanation for being late for half an hour recently. Maybe he thinks it's just a joke, should he be so serious? I don't think jokes are made like this, and I don't think it's funny either. It's hard to follow a single word. Think about whether it's appropriate before you say it, and you can know who you are from a trivial matter.

Second, be late every day. A colleague in the company used to be a middle-level position. Almost every day, he was 30-45 minutes late for his shift. The highest record was an hour and a half late. There were only a handful of days when he went to work on time, and he was never seen by a supervisor saying, I and other colleagues are very puzzled. He can still leave work on time, and he acts like a worker. Why do we have to work overtime TT

Third, at the appointed time, tell me that he is still at home. Once I had an appointment with a friend for dinner, and I made an appointment to wait at the door of the restaurant at 12 o'clock. When I called him at 12 o'clock, he didn't answer my call, and finally got through. He said he was still at home? _? I was about to starve, and you told me that you were still at home, do you want me to wait for an hour, so I didn’t care about our agreement, and then I didn’t need to make an appointment. I was really angry at that time, and then I went to eat by myself.

I hereby advise you to cherish those punctual friends, please try your best to be punctual, and don't let them lose their trust in you.
