Balance|Paltry Poetry
I found a balance
In an filthy room on the vessel
The long boring years
Gifted me with nothing else
But guts. ﹌﹋
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏⛵️﹍﹏
Stepped on that piece of rusted metal
Trying to weigh myself
A sharp squeak filled the room
As if it wanted to speak to me
Or just a mutual response
Have been waiting forever
Long enough after I lost count on the days. ﹌﹋
﹏﹏﹏﹏⛵️﹍﹏﹏
This silent boat
I could not remember how I got on
This crowded boat
I thought was just floating on some water
This familiar boat
I still see new faces every other day. ﹌﹋
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏⛵️﹍﹏
In the maze of god damn curiosity
Still wandering inside this prison
Humongous but hollow
Borderless yet not alone. ﹌﹋
﹏﹏﹏﹏⛵️﹍﹏﹏
Need to find a mirror
To prove myself invisible
That squeak from the balance
Must be the first response
Since I started pushing people I know off the boat. ﹌﹋
﹏﹏﹏⛵️﹍﹏﹏﹏
Wait oh wait
Were those just hallucinations?
Was it the guilt reminding me to hide away for good?
So my wandering seems like
Not just out of boredom? ﹌﹋
﹏﹏⛵️﹍﹏﹏﹏﹏
Didn't mind
Won’t care!. ﹌﹋
﹏⛵️﹍﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
My bare feet warmed up
My little cold metal friend
A screen popped up
Had to rub off the heavy dirt to read
My glasses got brutally destroyed earlier
No harm
I'm all fine
Whatsoever
My watery eyes. ﹌﹋
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
Keeping my eyes closed
Imagining some land not far ahead
While still standing on
The balance I found
Who cares if that isn't mine. ﹌﹋ ⭓
