It's about cutting! I have never studied photography theory, let alone any photography related courses. After seeing a small photo (the kind that was taken very carefully), I wanted to take such a photo in addition to sighing!

So, I bought the most expensive 200mm macro prime lens ever, thinking that I would be able to shoot a similar masterpiece.

As a result, like I just started monocular, nothing? I asked for photography first, and they seem to have said the word cropping. After practicing many times, I finally understand!

Once again, I solemnly add that my terminology is by no means correct, it is my own opinion, just like the terminology of "Shunfengzhao", don't take it seriously.

Cropping, my discovery, is an unprofessional term for Red. The following example was taken with a 50mm normal lens.

I can see the butterfly, but I can't see the point, so I cut it~

In addition to the different cropping and rendering, the two have different sharpness.

Cutting, because the sundries are cut out, the protagonist is revealed. The general language is called "Zooming", but "Zooming" is not correct, so I use this term. Please don't take offense~

After cropping, although the details are visible, the shortcomings are also exposed. #1 is out of focus, and it is more blurred after cropping, so the original image may be better than the lack of it.

However, if you use a long focal length lens, it is different. You can shoot butterflies without cropping.

I found a picture from more than ten years ago, don't be surprised~

The photo of #3 is not cropped. The long focal length is used to take pictures at the farthest end. The stability is the biggest problem. Therefore, in order to increase the shutter, the aperture is set to the maximum, and the butterfly can be seen, but the details of the eyes are lost.

#3 does not need to be cropped, because the effect will not be better after cropping, and cropping is also for composition, so it is not necessary to use a long focal length lens.

Use last week's picture again.

#4 and #5, since there is no long focal length, it is also a good way for me to get close to the main character.

Suddenly a swallowtail flew from the house, standing on the bucket, allowing me to get close and take pictures.

So, crop or not? In addition to the clutter of the background, the more important thing is the accurate focus , so that it is more refined through cropping.

The moon is very far from the earth, is it in focus or not? It's really hard to judge, and my telephoto distance is not long enough, so I can only look at the original image, and it's not up to the standard.
