What the iPhone taught me about financial management

Looking at the iPhone SE2 I bought 2 years ago, I think that my salary may be more than twice that of the clerk, but he spends more than 30,000 yuan to buy a new phone every year. I even wait until I buy a phone that costs more than 10,000 yuan. The phone was so slow that it had to be replaced. At this moment, I understand why many people can't save money! It also taught me the importance of financial management.

Someone once said that the iPhone is a luxury, I didn't understand it at the time, but I understand now because it's really expensive! I didn’t buy my first second-hand iPhone 5 until I started working in Australia in November 2013 with a high salary, and I bought my first second-hand iPhone 5 for $500. So two years after I graduated, I was read by the supervisor and said that it would be difficult for me to line me up if I didn’t change my smartphone, but I I don't want to spend so much money on the Sony Ericsson music phone, which is enough for me to listen to music and answer calls.

My first iPhone was used for 4 years until 2017, because it was often shut down automatically and even the battery was swollen. I thanked my sister for buying a new white iPhone SE as a birthday present for me, so I changed my phone. The second iPhone often had problems, and it took 3 years to repair and replace it until the mobile phone contract expired in 2020. I changed to the new iPhone SE2, but I was still reluctant to spend more than 30,000 yuan on a high-end mobile phone, because I I think SE2 is enough.

When I was a child, I saw other people drive beautiful cars. I complained to my parents that my Yulon car was ugly. My dad replied, "The appearance of the car is not important! The Yulon engine is very good, but the appearance is a little ugly." Reply: "Everyone likes to spend money differently. Our family uses the money to go abroad for self-help travel. Many people who want to go abroad may not have the money, so don't compare yourself with others."

These two sentences have let me know until now that real wealth does not necessarily require external proof, but spiritual wealth.
