My big private school experience (11) Courage

If you want to study, it's your own business, and if you don't come to study, it's also your own business. You want to be awake to study, and you want to sleep on your stomach. What are you doing with your parents? Still a man? Still brave?

My private school experience is what happened in Taiwan nearly 20 years ago. The current educational environment is changing with each passing day. In theory, it should be better! I hope that education in Taiwan will become better and better, and there will be no more ridiculous phenomena.

Well, having a dream is the most beautiful, and I hope to be that beautiful.

Students in large private schools are also teenagers. Children of this age are more or less respectful, and their sense of achievement has not yet been established. Therefore, there is a high chance of boasting, bluffing, and arrogance.

One day in class, I was taking Xunzi's "Encouraging Learning". I saw students lying on their desks sleeping and, based on work ethic, used to wake him up.

Don't get me wrong, it's not because his family is difficult and he didn't sleep at night at work, he just doesn't want to go to school.

This student's nickname is Sengfeng, firstly because of his surname Peng, and secondly because he likes to choke and bluff, and is often complained by his classmates. He likes to deliberately provoke teachers, and sleeping on the desk blatantly in class is one way.

I went to wake him up:

"Students, don't sleep during class. The school fees are so expensive, so come here, learn a little bit."

"Hmm..." He was sleepy, not sure if it was true, rubbed his eyes, and responded:

"Teacher, you see that I have come to class. It's very interesting, so don't be too fussy."

"What are you talking about? You came to class to learn for yourself, not to be funny to me!" I patiently tried to put on a smiling face as a model teacher. He sneered with a sneer, pushed out his lower body, and reclined on a chair with two legs up:

"I said, teacher, you know? I come to class every day, and I also have a lot of humiliation."

"What are you talking about? Is this the way to endure humiliation?"

"Yeah," he said with a smug smile, spreading his hands out.

"It's not just me, all the classmates in this classroom are. Everyone doesn't want to come to the school. It's just because of filial piety, carrying the expectations of their parents, and coming with heavy steps. This is "a long way to go" and "bearing humiliation". !"

The whole class burst into laughter, and the Xunzi I just mentioned was probably a bamboo shoot. He gave me a dramatic wave:

"Oh! Teacher, people like you who come here to make money won't understand us! But we have to talk about filial piety. This is the gentle spirit of a man! So don't embarrass each other."

Hearing my blood pressure rise, I want to hit him with a textbook. If the mayor of Taipei, he would probably say that he is going to drop the folder or something?

"It was really hard work," I held back, took a step back, sorted it out for a second, and continued:

"I have a good way, so that you and your parents will not be embarrassed anymore."

"Huh?" He sat forward, the four legs of the chair were on the ground, probably wondering what method I was going to say.

"Wait out of the classroom door, then turn right and walk to the end," I said and gestured with a serious expression:

"You know the stairs at the end of the corridor? Turn right downstairs and go straight to the second floor. Turn left, the third room, um, yes, is the Academic Affairs Office. The Dean of Academic Affairs is the one on the far right, you walk over and follow He saluted and said, "I'm sorry, I don't want to study anymore, please ask the director to help me with the withdrawal procedures."

His eyes were wide open:

"Teacher, what are you kidding me, how could he let me drop out of school like this? And my parents won't agree."

"Of course I knew he would be against it, and so would my parents." I walked back to the lectern, drank water and continued:

"That's why I'm going to teach you how."

Not only Sengfeng, but the whole class listened intently, and the class was so quiet that I returned to my place by myself:

"You just scold him for swearing, punch him down, and say, '@#%, you're not happy with reading, you can't understand!' I promise he'll let you drop out of school, and it's useless for your parents to object."

He laughed:

"Are you kidding me? That way I'll get a big demerit!"

"It's weird, it's not a manly spirit, what's the big deal? Don't read it anyway, don't miss this chance to become a hero!"

The whole class burst into laughter again, and this time, the face of student Bengfeng turned ugly. My tone changed to an unhappy summary:

"It's your own business to come to study, not to study. You want to study while awake, and you want to sleep on your stomach. What are you doing with your parents? Are you still a man? Are you still bold?"

The whole class crooked their waists with laughter, each laughing like bamboo shoots.
