On the day of the ayahuasca ceremony, I brought my own yoga mat, pillow and water bottle to the scene. (Why does it seem to be an outing?) In fact, the site of the ayahuasca ceremony has these equipments prepared, but I was afraid that it would be better to have some familiar things in an environment that I am not familiar with, so I prepared these things myself.

At the beginning, the leader told everyone where to fill the water, go to the toilet, and how to seek help if you feel uncomfortable during the ceremony, and kindly provided each person with a vomit bag (the shopping paper bag has a plastic bag inside, which can be replaced at any time) .

  • There are participants from different countries and speaking different languages
  • Some people were recommended by relatives, some were recommended by friends, and some people came to Shennong to taste the herbs
  • Some people are participating for the first time, some people have participated several times, some people have participated dozens of times

Before the ceremony, the leader asked everyone to meditate and relax in the way they are used to, and put aside the daily chores. After about half an hour, the ayahuasca ceremony began.

The way to drink ayahuasca in this ceremony is to drink three times, about 1/5 of a cup at a time, and there will be an interval between each cup. The guide said that usually the second cup can enter the situation. Drink a third cup after two intervals. After the second cup, if you still feel that your thinking skills are strong, you can choose to use snuff (rapé) to further relax.

Looking at the dark brown bottle, I still have the impression that many people describe how unpleasant the taste of ayahuasca is. When I received the cup, I picked it up and smelled it.

kindness! It smells like dirt and wood! But there is no sour and bitter taste of traditional Chinese medicine, so I closed my eyes and tasted it. . . Eh! very bitter? very sour? Sour and bitter make you want to vomit? How to drink like. . . Original Brown Coffee with tannin taste! ? ! ? I'm thinking there might be a bitter and sour taste. . . But you can add sugar! ! ! ^.<~

That's it!

After drinking the first cup, I immediately felt very happy, the taste was not as bad as the legend, and I would not spit it out at the beginning because it was too unpleasant to drink. After drinking the first cup, the leader of the ceremony said that we can choose to continue to meditate, or lie down and relax for a while, then the background began to play music of nature, and the environment began to surround the various sounds in the rainforest, as if living in in the rainforest. Half an hour after the first cup, I just feel more relaxed and want to sleep. At this time, when I start the OS, should I be the one who slept from the beginning to the end and didn't feel anything? At this time, I began to gradually feel that my consciousness became dull, and my eyes gradually began to be unable to open, just like the situation where I stayed up late and didn't get enough sleep the day before yesterday, and I couldn't get up the next day. In this way, I quietly closed my eyes and started to rest. I felt that I did not rest for too long. The leader reminded me that I could prepare to drink the second cup. If you want to use snuff, just raise your hand.

After drinking the second cup, um! The taste has not changed, it is still the original Brown coffee with tannin taste. Since there was no obvious feeling, I closed my eyes and rested quietly until about half an hour later. . . (At this time, about 2.5HR after the ceremony begins)

I began to feel the world spinning, like sitting on the bottom layer of a whale watching boat that just went out to sea, but the spinning didn't make me want to vomit, and as long as I opened my eyes during the process, the sky was still bright outside the window, and the rainforest was still playing indoors. The background sound, the leader began to sing and use the instrument, so I began to close my eyes and try to adapt gradually, until I saw the radial spiral picture when I closed my eyes.

When I saw the spiral, my OS was, this is too textbook hallucination ! ? But the sense of dizziness continued to intensify, and it had reached the feeling of sitting in the back row of the tour bus, climbing a mountain through a hairpin bend. Normally, I should be able to prepare a vomit bag at this time, but I still don't feel like I want to vomit. At this time, the first "vomit~!" began! Then it started to go up and down one after another, taking turns "vomit~!".

The amazing thing is that I was not affected by this process. I am glad that while I survived the first wave of nausea, the textbook spiral gradually disappeared. I came to a space where the background looked like it was going to be reincarnated in a Soul Twist movie (Soul Twist hadn't been released at the time, so I didn't have the material in my head)

At once

At this point, I began to enter the mode of self-questioning and self-answering. The whole process felt a lot like a self-talk in my brain, but in response to my self-talk, there would be some pictures that let me understand and better understand the whole concept.

I have roughly rounded up the questions I should still remember as follows

In the beginning I asked the big questions that science couldn't verify, but I still wanted to understand the principle.

  • How Ayahuasca Works
  • How karma works
  • How trauma is recorded after it occurs
  • How Wound Healing Works
  • How Soul Shards Work
  • Where is the source of spiritual energy
  • How consciousness communicates
  • How a near-death experience works
  • how time works
  • past present future relationship

After I felt like watching a VR movie for nearly 2 hours, I opened my eyes and looked at my watch. It was only 20 minutes... I was still dizzy and the sound of vomiting was still coming and going, so I closed my eyes and continued to ask. (At this time about 3HR after the start of the ceremony)

Most of this question is about myself

  • Is there a bad habit I'm not aware of?
  • Is there any trauma I haven't faced myself
  • What can you learn to make yourself better
  • why i love video games so much
  • Why do I get angry easily with some issues?

This time, I felt like I had gone through about an hour and a half of the VR movie. After I read the answers to my questions, I felt that I had understood the existence of these attachments, and I gladly decided to let it go. . . The body reflexed , and the left hand quickly picked up the vomit bag, "vomit~!"

After having such a reaction, I thought it might have something to do with the idea of letting go of my attachments. So I closed my eyes and continued to ask some questions that might be related to my attachments, but after I understood and let go, I gave him a few more times. Since vomiting is not a very comfortable thing, I closed my eyes and decided to ask other questions.

Twelve Words of Great Wisdom

This time I asked about the gap between my experience and the information I collected.

Why didn't I see Ayahuasca? (I really didn't see it)

Why didn't I get eaten by monsters? (no monsters come to eat me)

Why can't I see the jungle? (I'm in the same background from start to finish)

In this way, I estimate that I asked dozens of questions, almost a hundred questions , until I really couldn't think of what to ask. At this time, the leader patted me gently and asked me if I wanted a third drink. I felt that my experience should be enough, so I told him that I didn’t need it. I closed my eyes again, and my mind was full of what if I couldn’t remember this experience like a dream?

At this time, although I was conscious, my body couldn't pick up a pen, paper or mobile phone to record it. When I couldn't think of other problems, I chose to slowly open my eyes and slowly adapt to the feeling of waking up. I only have one thought, why is the body so heavy ? It feels a lot like waking up in the hospital after being knocked unconscious by a car. (At this time, about 4.5HR after the ceremony begins)

After slowly propping up my body, I felt a little hungry, so I was very happy so I picked up the fruit prepared by the leader and ate it.

After putting it in my mouth, I felt uncomfortable for a while, so I started to vomit again. It is estimated that it should be the previous vomiting, which caused the stomach acid to burn the esophagus. Therefore, when I eat food with a strong taste, it stimulates the reflex of the esophagus. So I vomited several times, so I didn't dare to eat until the ceremony was over. I even dared to drink water slowly, for fear that I would continue to vomit if it was too exciting.

After the ceremony, there was a small exchange. Everyone shared their gains. I also felt that I gained a lot. The point is that I still remember what I am afraid of forgetting! ! ! After the end, I also felt fairly awake, so I also went home by myself, without choosing who to spend the night at the venue prepared by the leader.

The focus of the postscript

When do you vomit during the ceremony? Here is my ensemble

  • When I first drank the ayahuasca, no one vomited, probably because the seasoning was OK... tannin tasted Brown coffee
  • When I first saw Spiral VR, I didn't vomit because I was used to using VR for a long time.
  • When letting go of attachments, vomiting is a manifestation of expelling dirty things, and some people are going to have diarrhea.
  • The snuff is too irritating, but I didn't try it because I was already in the situation, but some people vomited immediately after less than five minutes.
  • Having vomited many times, eating overly stimulating food, and the stomach cannot adapt to the vomiting
  • Vomited so many times that when it turned into a reflex, some participants still vomited at the end

From this observation, we can see why vomiting is the most common experience, and it is really difficult not to vomit😅😅😅

What kind of physique is not recommended to participate
  • It is suggested that people with high sensitivity and empathy are not recommended to participate. The reason is that during the ceremony, the emotions of all participants are completely exposed in the space, and high sensitivity and empathy may be affected by the emotions of others. Although I am not hypersensitive or empathetic, I have added a little sensory ability in the process of practicing Reiki, so I can always feel the fear of the participant on my right during the process, and even see the picture of his fear (but I did not Check with him, so it's my personal experience)
  • After a doctor has diagnosed depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, and continues to take medication to control it, the main risk is that the drug itself interacts with ayahuasca, which is fatal.
