"Trying to make others feel 'this song is what my ears hear' is what I think is the most interesting part of pushing a song, the so-called joy of empathy" - by Russel

Song:

good song push push

It should have been more than two months, or even almost three months, since the establishment of Duba, a co-learning community. In just a few months, the community has slowly grown from one person to a community of nearly 20 people. Although it is not a lot, it is quite gratifying to watch her grow slowly.

We define a reading bar as a nightly bar in the online world. People go in and out, some gossip and comfort each other; some listen to the song played by the boss, but just let it go; some just share what they have learned; some organize activities and try to change a certain part of the world in the middle of the night... We use knowledge With the core as the core, the community as the base, and intoxicated with the world of Web3...

A few things have happened in the past two months:

In May , we launched the first book club "Reconstructing Taiwan: The Cultural Politics of Contemporary Nationalism" . After wandering all the way from the Japanese occupation period to the Republic of China, we re-examined our identity as a Taiwanese from a nationalist perspective. . Starting from culture, literature, mass media and other media, it restores how political wrestling in different periods fought in the wrestling field called "Taiwan History". And I think the most interesting thing is that the members of the reading club put forward different views on different issues, and exchanging views and expressing their own opinions is one of the original intentions of the establishment of Duba. Yuba may be able to provide a platform for members to learn how to express themselves, to express themselves, and to learn to listen and learn from the perspectives of others.

The way of the reading club is carried out in the form of question discussion, and meaningful questions will be found in the book and raised in advance. During the process of the reading club, members can share their own views and life experiences, which will become the nutrients and purpose of learning.

Reading a book on your own can be tedious and tedious, but reading a book with a group of people can not only make it easier to read, but also read more comprehensively, repeatedly exploiting the opinions of others and yourself.

As the first period of the book club draws to a close, we also held the first period of the big push fight . Members can share and recommend the books they want to read with everyone in the community, and use this to promote The establishment of the next reading club will bring two books to the stage in this violent scramble: "Gender Knots - Dismantling Patriarchal Illegal Construction" and "Justice - A Contemplative Journey", both of which are quite classic. Great book, and it's Gender Knotted that wins in the end! Just at 9:30 tonight, we will start the second reading club: "Gender Knots - Demolition of Patriarchal Illegal Buildings"

Secondly, the Taiwanese classroom is also one of the very important sharing sessions of Duba recently. Interestingly, the reading club "Reconstructing Taiwan" also mentioned that language plays an important role in Taiwan's own identity, and language has been repeatedly pulled and deformed by political wrestling in Taiwan's history. For Taiwanese, it can be said to be the writing and expression of self-history. From the history of the Taiwanese language to the spelling and tones of the Taiwanese language, the Taiwanese small classroom has a new understanding of their native language. Perhaps the most interesting thing is that different members come from different regions and speak different accents of Taiwanese.

fun

At the same time, we also held two Web3 sharing sessions to share the most rudimentary imagination of the blockchain world and related information security knowledge. The web3 world is one of Duba's long-term goals, and it may become a bridge between web2 and web3, but we do not limit our focus to discussing the impact of blockchain technology, but with the deduction of the times, We hope to use web3 technology as a carrier to carry the community forward. Rather than saying that we are a web3 community, it is better to say that we are a relatively decentralized learning community. (different from traditional authoritative education)

Sharing is the foundation of the community. In Duba's discord, we will share news, good articles, good videos and opinions every day. Through the exchange of different perspectives and opinions, we can gain a faster and more comprehensive understanding of social issues and examine ourselves. view is biased.

From financial viewpoints to feminism, from web3 news to cultural assets, the different focus of different members also shapes the news network and information network of the whole community. At the same time, through the switching of different focuses, we can learn and enrich the issues that we do not understand. Perhaps these are the true meanings of sharing.

And the most attractive thing is the sharing of good songs. We held a new event , Lele Two Weeks. Through thematic sharing of songs, we were able to build a set of playlists that belonged to the community. In June, our theme is the golden songs of the 1980s and 1990s. In this activity, we need to share our own feelings and experiences in pushing songs, so as to urge us to understand the delicacy and emotion of the songs more deeply, and then throw out the emotions. , to share with different members. In the end, we will get a playlist that belongs to the community, but also a playlist that belongs to this era... (I have the opportunity to share this part with you again!)

Questions for this week:

  1. From the perspective of women, how to deal with the problem of male position, is there still a problem of male position?
  2. If women actually have so much power that they can knock down patriarchy, why aren't they using it well? Or why it doesn't work well after using it?
  3. Why does whistling make men justified? Why is it wrong to be assertive?
