How to clean the menstrual cup
When reviewing the articles I wrote, I found that I dug a lot of holes for myself, and I didn’t make up for them. I didn’t see it once and felt like I was talking about it. Although no one knocked the bowl, I still felt that it was strange if I didn’t write it.
Today I am writing about menstrual cups.
I just had my period yesterday, and my period is three weeks late this month. It should be because I have been traveling to different places during this period, taking planes, boats, long-distance buses, and staying overnight in different places. Even if I go home, the pressure Not too small, family relationships are a bit complicated, plus thinking about the future, various reasons lead to late menstruation.
Menstruation is a very good indicator.
OK After talking nonsense, let me talk about how I clean my menstrual cup every month.
The internet says that the menstrual cup needs to be boiled for 5 minutes before use. At the time I was frustrated because I couldn't find a suitable pot to sterilize my menstrual cup. If I lived alone, I would use a daily pot, but I am not, so I just use boiling water and use a new mug, which is just for menstrual cups.
(Use a cup to scald a cup?😂)
One day I left a message under the menstrual cup exchange post on Facebook. Is there a way to sterilize it other than boiling water? A sister left a message saying that dentures can be used to sterilize ingots.
I bought a denture sterilizing tablet, the brand is Polident, because it is easy to buy, Watson, guardian have both, and the use method is very simple, put the sterilizing tablet and the menstrual cup into a glass of warm water, wait for 3 minutes, take out the menstrual cup Rinse clean and you can use it straight away.
Every time I get my period, I go to the bathroom with a glass of warm water to disinfect. For me this is the most time-saving and labor-saving.
After menstruation comes, take out the cup, wash it, let it air dry, and put it in a cloth bag.
If you choose to sterilize with boiling water, you must also pay attention that the menstrual cup will not stick to the pan. In fact, I don't know if the menstrual cup will stick to the pan. The main ingredient for making menstrual cups is silicon. The melting point of silicon is more than 1,000 degrees. Will it stick to the pan?
When it sticks to the pan, I saw a way to prevent the menstrual cup from sticking to the pan on the Internet, that is, put the menstrual cup in the space of the manual egg beater. Even if it doesn't work, I still think this method is awesome.
The picture above shows the menstrual cup just bought, very clean.
The blood will stain on the cup, so the more I use the cup, it turns yellow, so I searched online to find out how to remove blood stains for the menstrual cup, and I went to the pharmacy to buy hydrogen peroxide to soak it. I really like the Internet, it's so powerful.
Menstrual cups will have stomata to relieve the vacuum. Sometimes menstrual blood is full, and the extra menstrual blood will flow out from the stomata. How can I describe the feeling of being full, I felt bubbles popping out. I should have said something very suspicious, but it doesn't matter, I should understand it when I really experience it.
Every time I pour blood, I rinse it off with tap water. In order to clean the pores, I fill the cup with water, close the mouth of the cup with my palm, and squeeze it hard, and the water will spray out of the pores, which is a bit of fun. This is to clear the air holes, sometimes the menstrual blood will be blocked, and the things that need to be put in the private parts are not good to hide the dirt.
After I have my braces on, I start using an interdental brush. Later, I found out that the interdental brush was plugging the air intake, so I added a cleaning artifact. You can try using an interdental brush to clear the pores of the menstrual cup.
To share a few more packaging of my menstrual cups before I wrap up.
The outer packaging provides a lot of information. There is also a very long manual inside. Very conscientious, I benefited a lot after reading it.
Menstrual cup, I was really curious before I used it, and I was very excited when I got it (I don’t know what I was excited about, I even tried to see if I could fit it in before I had my period), when I first started using it Due to improper operation, there have been moments of excruciating pain, but after adjusting the method, the boat has passed thousands of mountains, and a beautiful new world of tampons has begun.
This year is my fifth year of using a menstrual cup and I highly recommend it.
