★Using the six principles of "design thinking" to plan a feasible solution for the four-day work system: architectural problems, inspiration, creativity, prototyping, continuous testing, and sharing.

●Overwork actually does more harm than good to the enterprise. Overworked or exhausted employees are actually less productive than well-rested employees. Overworked employees are less engaged, more likely to leave, and may even violate professional ethics or steal business opportunities from the company. In some promising careers, if someone leaves in the middle, it will cost a lot to find someone to replace them, especially in the legal and pharmaceutical industries. However, in these two industries, long working hours, high standards, and high work pressure are the norm. Tired employees calling in sick or losing productivity cost an estimated $300 billion a year globally.

●Scientific research clearly shows that overwork is counterproductive, not only creating pressure on the company, but also on employees, affecting productivity and causing physical and mental exhaustion. Smart supervisors know the importance of getting their employees off work on time, allowing them to enjoy email-free nights and take a good vacation during the holidays. Employees should take back control of their time; it won't be easy, but the rewards will be great value for money.

● Shortening working hours goes against all our intuitions about work and achievement, and against the conventions of all walks of life. It must also ignore the expectations of society, but it is indeed feasible. Shortening the workweek can help companies improve operations, encourage leaders and employees to develop new skills, strengthen focus and collaboration, prolong the sustainability of the job, improve work-life balance, and even reduce environmental damage and reduce Traffic flow and congestion make everyone healthier.

●Six principles of "design thinking":
1. Architecture problem - think about the problem that really needs to be solved and find the solution.
A more comprehensive analysis and response can lead to better and more stable solutions.

2. Inspiration - Learn more about user needs.
Making time for novel ideas, trying new experiences, or letting ideas germinate subconsciously is important for stimulating and sustaining creativity.

3. Creativity - Brainstorm ideas for products or designs.
Select the type of time reduction, do four off three? Or implement Free Friday? Or shorten the daily working hours to 5-6 hours? Consider which day is the least productive? Which day off has the greatest positive effect. Simulate possible scenarios and prepare contingency plans. Set the trial date and start date. Set clear goals. Realize that the trial period is not the end.

4. Prototype - Build a prototype and improve it before the finished product goes to market.
Redesign meetings. Shorten meetings and make them more focused. Limit meetings to specific times of the day. Shorter meetings are a precursor to shorter workweeks. Tidy up the odds and ends of the workday. Set aside time to focus on doing things. Respect everyone's time. Project management and collaboration tools. Automate some work. Use technology to reduce distractions. Redesign the workspace. Let employees lead. Notify customers.

5. Continuous testing - the prototype of the semi-finished product will be tried out to the user to see the problem.
Facing the customer's reaction. Build prototypes for your customers' futures. Document new cultural and social norms truthfully. Create internal processes for people to exchange new ideas over time. Everyone is encouraged to share their experiences.

6. Share out - share the results of your work.
Create a new paradigm. Leaders define problems, and we all work together to solve them. Work hard to concentrate, don't work hard to prolong working hours. Clear boundaries are a good thing. Concentration requires the cooperation and protection of others. The benefits of shorter working hours belong to all employees. Strong systems rather than strong individuals. Ask questions and find answers. Customers are allies. Open and smart communication. Constantly seeking change.
