Friends, Matters AMA in Cantonese, will you attend?

A few months ago, I was involved in a Web 3 project prepared by a friend. After a few months, it's now set to launch on September 15. I was born in Steem and Matters, therefore, the most familiar Web 3 friends are from these two communities, and in the two communities, the closest relationship is in Matters, so I plan to conduct my first AMA in Matters.

Let me share first, what is this project and why should I join?

At the beginning of this year, I had a few friends and some masters in the martial arts field talking about the issue of "Martial Arts Conservation". During this period, I came into contact with the blockchain and was thinking about "Whether it can be used for martial arts conservation through blockchain". In the planning process, we have been exploring the content and elements that can be combined with the blockchain. After talking with the team, I believe that Web 3 is not necessary for Web 3. The ecology of the Internet is parallel. In the era of Web 2, most websites and projects are still in the Web 1 model. Even when Web 3 rolls out, it won't make Web 1 and Web 2 projects go away. Therefore, we decided to implement the Web 2 + Web 3 program to implement this project.

In the past few months, I have been involved in this "Martial Art Blockchain" Martial Art DAO project, in which I am mainly responsible for the planning role. Imagine how to use the blockchain storage technology (IPFS Cloud), combined with dynamic capture, to record the moves of various martial arts schools. We also invited a tertiary institution in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, to set up a martial arts dynamic capture center:

Now, in addition to punches and kicks, we also start motion capture on weapons.

After the motion capture of different martial arts, we use another technical support partner to encrypt and store the data in IPFS Cloud, so that the virtual teaching and training platform under construction and game animation partners can use.

In addition, 60-80% of the project's revenue will be invested in the production and cultivation fund, because we believe that martial arts conservation should not only be a technique, but also a heritage between people. Therefore, we will also establish a virtual teaching and training platform and a Web3 martial arts community. In addition, we will also establish a training fund for the purpose of Train the Trainer. The operation of the training fund is carried out in the DAO mode. The goal is to support different martial arts clubs and cultivate more successors. .

As for why I joined this project?

After the Luna incident, I deeply felt that the blockchain and encrypted world only have "Amount"? Or can there be "Values"?

When a person reaches middle age, money value is not the most important goal. I hope that the time spent in the second half of life will be some meaningful projects. The project that my friend asked me to "ask for opinions" combines "traditional martial arts culture conservation", "blockchain", "Web3 community", "games" and "nurturing funds". Except that I don't know "martial arts", every other One of the things I'm very interested in. Fortunately, more than 70 martial arts masters have participated and supported this project.

I often say to the team that we really want to thank the Luna incident, and it is precisely this situation that allows the community to "know how to split projects" and "know how to make good use of DAOs".

September 15th (Thursday) is the day we started to introduce the project to the outside world. In the next three months, we will start different promotion and introduction work.

For the first AMA, I took the initiative to ask Matters for assistance, mainly because we wanted to make the AMA a platform for accepting opinions. I often participated in Matters' AMAs and lectures, and the discussion atmosphere was quite good. We hope that more interested people will participate; The most familiar communities are Matters and LikeCoin, so hopefully that starts there.

At present, the founding team is all Hong Kong people, so the language we are most familiar with is Cantonese (Cantonese). So, I told Dobby that I wanted to try doing Matters' Cantonese AMA.

I know that because of the Cantonese language problem, there should be many fewer people participating. Therefore, we try our best to use "text discussion and real-time text translation to supplement". When our confidence and language skills are improved again, we will definitely do an AMA in the national language "in a short period of time".
