First trip of 2020

Due to the epidemic, I have been staying at home in 2020. Recently, the epidemic situation in the UK has eased, and the government has also announced a series of unblocking policies. So this weekend, I made an appointment with two friends and went to the surrounding Allerthorpe Lakeland Park to play for a day.

The water park is not yet fully open, and some water sports will officially open next week. But even so, it's still a good place to relax. After all, the area is vast and sparsely populated, surrounded by large green spaces, lakes, and the air is also very good. Even taking a walk here and soaking up the sun is nice.

There are quite a lot of people here. I feel that many people don't actually participate in any projects. The family has a picnic here, chatting and relaxing.

This is also a dedicated RV campground, and many families will drive their RVs, park here, and stay here for a few days.

The projects here are all on the water. Currently includes: single kayak, four/eight person rowing, pedal boat, paddle surfing and more.

This paddleboarding looks a little scary, and it feels like it might fall into the water. But it's actually not that scary. As long as you stand firm and don't use too much force when you are paddling, it's still very stable. Some people feel not very sure, and simply kneel on it and paddle. If you are tired from paddling, you can lie down on it for a while.

Single kayaks are the lightest and easy to paddle. Many children can easily control and play very smoothly:

I feel that this water park is very fun, and I hope to come back again. But now the epidemic is not completely over, there are already many people. I hope it's not too crowded next time I come.
