After finally losing weight, I stopped, and I stopped running after a period of time. After I stopped, I stopped moving.
What exactly is missing from this stop/stop distance continuation?
Many times when we perform a task or do a thing, we actually carry out some purpose.
Maybe make some money, maybe lose some fat, maybe gain some knowledge...etc
These purposes are not bad but one place we might overlook is
Does doing it itself bring us joy?
Do you think this is fun?
The fun and fun element is actually quite important in the task, because without this element, we will not feel that this thing itself is a pleasure when we are doing it.
for example:
If you look at exercise, if exercise is not fun, then there will be a compensatory mentality at the end of the exercise, and you want to reward yourself.
But if we already have the fun we want in exercising, then exercising itself is a reward that doesn't require anything else to maintain the habit of exercising
