Little Miscellaneous Notes 💙 Childhood Handmade Memories
I just finished a teaching course a while ago. The children who originally took this course hoped that I could teach clay, so in May, Sesame Cat ordered clay for the children to experience at its own expense. I don’t even have to rush to get the clay for the children😂 So the light clay I ordered in May was idle and placed in the cabinet for a month.
I recently joined a new work team. They are also teaching drawing and handcrafting. There are some fixed themed courses, so the content taught is not necessarily what I am good at. I am still trying to get familiar with sketchbook recently, and I am afraid that my teaching will overturn. 😂
When I was scheduled to teach yesterday, the person coordinating the course wanted to help me arrange an animation drawing course for a middle school student. Sesame cat was shocked when he heard it! ! Although I like reading manga and animation, I really don't know how to draw anime characters! ! Sesame cat has always known that her animation character drawing skills are not good, but I just want to say that I don't seem to be using it in the future. I used to practice hard but didn't make progress, so I gave up decisively 😆 Be a manga person, I didn't expect... There are still times when I have to use it 😱😱
I felt that my ability was insufficient, so I hurriedly dismissed this course.
After this little episode, I also began to reflect on my abilities and felt that it was time for me to study hard, so I will start to practice drawing anime characters in the near future, and my previous work colleagues also mentioned that they want me to teach clay. The lesson plan that urged me to give birth to clay. I used to play with clay a lot when I was a kid, so clay should be a good one for me to get started with, but after all, I haven’t pinched it for more than 10 years, and I have to improve my ability, so… the clay that was idle in May finally came in handy! ! 🥳
This is the strawberry bunny ice cream I practiced yesterday 🍓🐰🍦! !
(Although I didn't think it looked like ice cream when I finished it...but it should be pretty cute, so let's just pass the level 😆😆)
When kneading clay, I can't help but feel a little nostalgic for my childhood.
When I was a child, we didn't have a fourth TV, so I didn't watch TV much. Computers were only available after the fifth grade of elementary school, so my childhood entertainment was "handmade".
I remember that my family bought me colorful clay for more than 1,000 yuan at that time (the clay seemed to be very expensive at that time~), the clay was very hard when kneaded, and each lump was very large, so they were all bundled with plastic wrap and placed in the fresh-keeping box , otherwise it will be hard to fall off easily. At that time, I liked to stick some small things. Although the things I squeezed were very small, it usually took three or four hours to make them. All the things I squeezed were given to my good friends. ~
Now that I think about it, operating technology is a skill that needs to be cultivated, but before relying on technology, we can actually cultivate more skills that technology cannot give us; just like the grandfathers of the previous two generations, they can write with a brush. Like the word, maybe these interests born without the temptation of technology can become the capital of the future.
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
