Postscript to "Food Love"
At first, I wanted to write a love story with food as the theme, but the cooking part was not very successful. I only wrote one scene, the scene where the hero helps the heroine make soup noodles. Although the scene is less than 2,000 Words, but writing for a full four hours, the efficiency is very poor. After the first act was written, I felt that it was really difficult to write the cooking scene, and the main point of the love story was the emotional scene, so I gave up the cooking part.
The third draft of this novel has been written. The characters’ personalities are a bit different from the first draft, and the gist of the story is also highlighted. I wrote this plot because I once heard someone say that my ex boyfriend was too possessive and didn’t like it. Interact with such people, and thus this version of the story was born. However, I feel that the story has a very "serious sense of preaching", and some of the plots have a sense of time. Like the first draft, there is a problem of fast plot, but the characters in the first draft are more interesting, and the contrast between the male and female protagonists is a bit exaggerated.
There are still many problems in the third draft. Compared with the first draft, some more serious problems have been corrected. If there is a chance to change it again, the plot may be flipped again, returning to the structure of the first draft. When writing a novel, sometimes I think it is okay to change it like this? Or is it better to change it that way? How can I write better? It’s so hard to decide, I’m very distressed, and there’s no one to ask my opinion. I still think it’s better to sign up for the “novel writing class” first, take a few more classes, and take a break to watch more movies, TV series, and novels. By the way, save a little more money, and then pay someone to read the manuscript for help.
One day in the future, it may be possible to rewrite "Food Love", or to write a new story (replace all the names), and write a love story where the heroine is a "web designer".
