Light Curatorial Notes with Left Ear TezDozen DAO Store #3
TezDozen's monthly DAO Store auction has come to the third phase. In each phase, the curatorial team will find three creators to jointly publish new works, and at the same time, TezDozen collectors will be given priority to participate in the auction. The auction process uses AkaDAO, the governance token of the akaSwap platform.
In the first issue, I volunteered and asked De Rui and Rainy, two popular creators in the Tezos Chinese community, to test the water temperature. Our styles are pixel art, time-lapse photography and illustration; Lin Jingyao and Lin Yiwen joined the war. At the time, they had just completed Collage, the second co-creation campaign in the history of the fxhash generative art platform. In the auction, they signed their respective representative works of generative art, Chaos Research, Requiem: Cloud, Burning Sunset and Collage. It is a case of virtual and real integration.
When Aran forced me to plan and arrange candidates for the third phase, it was too hard for me.
In the past three months, the Tezos Taiwan creator ecosystem has grown amazingly, from a single community to a prosperous constellation. Telegram began to grow groups with different creator ontology, entrants from different periods as ontology (there is a concept of contemporaneity), or different creative themes as units. Each group breeds new groups, each with its own people and things to focus on.
There are too many talented creators, and many of them have explosive friends, but the creation time is too short. At the same time, the state of the community must be considered, because creators must balance creation and dialogue. And how to arrange the combination may produce a co-partnership effect and stimulate each other's creative energy, which is a subject that I secretly hope to complete.
The friends who finally agreed to this tough battle were Ming Yao, Ann Chou and Rona. As members of the Chair Gang (this is the group name I added, it's not actually such a name), these three creators have really created works beyond my imagination, and they all have strong personal characteristics. Of course, I was very happy with it in the end, which is the best result. Like creators, create favorite works, and then be collected by favorite collectors.
A direct excerpt from Ming Yao's work introduction "Chaos Optometry" "Always remember the red hot air balloon in the optometry instrument, sometimes blurred and sometimes clear... It connects two completely different gazes like a wormhole, It also covers the spectrum from the clearest to the most blurred" ""Chaos Optometry"... The same painting is divided into ten levels of clarity, but all point to the same question: whether the concept of equivalence will be different due to different clarity degree and produce different values.”
This work is obviously a parody of Chaos Culture of Aran, but at the same time mixed with Mingyao-style questions, skills and aesthetics (but Mingyao will never agree with this, and if you agree, Mingyao is not Mingyao). Ming Yao, who has engaged in several community raids in the past few months, including the base chair (playing with the smart contract feature), the addition of light (parallel response of the Beijing Normal University Art Museum), and the album shuffle (the trading platform jointly shuffles the list), this time finally Honestly published "Optometry Machine" to test the hearts of the community.
And Rona, who has been well received since the first day of anonymous listing of pixel cats, also released ten PFP pixel cats this time, wearing different characteristics, traveling through the cat universe. In the physical world, Rona, who studies pixel art as the theme, is of course enjoying himself in the NFT world. Not to mention, please click the link directly to see my roadblock cat. " Meow's Multiverse - Roadside Cat ": "Be brave and be yourself."
And Ann Chou really came early rather than coincidentally. Just one day before the release of the "Left Ear" series, Ann's "Left Ear" picture book produced in 2021 won an international award and won the 3x3 picture book category! This simply helped the press conference to fuel the flames. Ann also appeared on the homepage of Tezos' largest NFT platform OBJKT last month, and was reported. Now that it has made a lot of gains in the physical world, it is really exciting.
"Left Ear" Left Ear NFT Creation Record
In addition to the quality and precision of her own works (a large number of 1/1 edition works), Ann has also written many articles to lead newbies into the world of NFT. Using the left-eared villain as the first-person perspective, sharing the process of community management, work creation, and mood adjustment in a lazy bag. Ann is an indispensable role in the entire ecosystem. This is a warm text that I can never write, and frankly, I am very envious.
The story of the left ear is excerpted as follows: "The "Left Ear" series originated from the picture book "LEFT EAR" I published in 2021, which is a story about self-growth. Since the beginning of 2022, I have stepped into the blockchain In the world, I turned myself into the left ear and wrote several web 3 experience diaries as a creator. Finally, after 6 months, I was able to gather and draw the memories of my experience in the blockchain into 10 different left ears. , all the good things for Tezos NFT.”
It's all beautiful. Ann is a talented little fisherman, and of course I would like to take the bait and mark the Left Ear of the Bard. The description of the work is as follows: "The bard crawled through everyone's records with her left ear. She wrote and sang the stories of herself and others. In the kingdom of immortality, she left her music and became a reference for future adventurers." This makes I am reminded of the picture book Ohebe's Fantastic Topography, or the board game Punch Storyteller, Ann again planting the whole community with warm brushstrokes.
Finally, let’s talk about inner feelings. Recently, I have been thinking about why I wrote it?
At first I wrote for joy, wanting to share these new things that make me happy; then I wrote for one breath, trying to argue why the rules of the world I saw hold; then I wrote for construction, a certain The self-proclaimed grower of ecosystems, commenting is the most noble and meanest job, let alone amateur commentary. However, information needs to be transmitted before resources can be introduced; and this three-person work reminds me of the original intention, isn’t writing something to be happy? Soybean puree, you don't want to use words as your business (set up flag).
Isn't it just because of happiness that raised your hand to make this vast and shallow? Bard bards are sleazy jobs, and they tell country legends, they don't have to bear the burden of official history, and there is no coffin. Like Ann's paintings, I want to continue writing my life happily. Thank you Ming Yao, Rona, and Ann for giving me the throbbing.
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
