Reading Notes | "Primary School Students' Annual Learning Calendar" for parents/teachers before the start of primary school
Since "From Reading to Writing", I have known this excellent teacher Lin Yichen, who has been cultivating in remote villages for many years and is not stingy to share her experience. She followed her on Facebook and was completely impressed by her practice in education (especially now in the summer vacation, she is also working as a farmer) Well, I really admire it~ The children are really lucky to have such a role model!) Not only did they irrigate the three children and students, but they also generously put their educational methods into words and brewed them into books, especially with the "Calendar" ” method, showing how teachers and parents can prepare for each stage of the school year and grow together with their children; after reading it, I really let go of a lot of anxiety about the child’s upcoming primary school, whether parents or teachers who are often busy in the teaching scene can First read.
I originally planned to buy a second-hand book, but I wanted the "separate book" attached to the original book too much, so I bought the new book directly. However, when I actually started, I felt that the additional book was mainly "for teachers", and it seemed that parents only needed "pre-school preparation supplies". Page - and this part can be found after the school sends a notice or on the Internet, but there is no need to force it, it is for parents' reference.
If you want to pursue, you have to spend time and cost, where time is spent, where is the achievement. ——Echoing "From Reading to Writing" "Education takes time, and all the precious things in the world need time to brew." Following Ms. Lin's Facebook and reading her works, I feel that she is working hard by example. Reading literacy, health and family, take children to spend every day with heart, and the spring breeze and rain of these "every days" bear good fruit after one or two school years, "People often hope for a year's great harvest, but underestimate the time of one day. ”
Here is a record of the five points shared by Mr. Lin that parents should know about "accompanying children to do homework":
1. Develop good habits with your child (concentrate, complete as soon as possible, develop a sense of time, learn to prioritize) 2. Not an eraser parent, you can read it roughly, but you must watch it! 3. If you see the shortcomings from the homework, remind them and review them. 4. When making corrections, leave a mark so that teachers and students can notice. 5. Let the children figure out their own mistakes
It's just that this book is not without flaws! I have carefully noticed all aspects, especially Teacher Lin’s description of the independent reading camp she held during the summer vacation (a quiet classroom with soft music, allowing children to read without pressure)…I want to go after reading it! The standards set at every level are simply too high!
It is recommended that anxious parents prepare a book to learn how we can accompany their children and prepare for primary school life together, but do not ask teachers based on this - every teacher has his own way of doing things, and is his own "king in the classroom" . As long as you can confidently guide students, stimulate self-requirements, maintain enthusiasm for learning and constantly surpass yourself, you will be the best teacher for your children!
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
