Akihiro Miwa and Yukio Mishima
Recently, many people have been crazy to replace the mobile phone wallpaper with Meilu Minghong, saying that after the change, the fortune will be UP UP.
Some friends around me also tried it, and they really encountered good things that would not be encountered on weekdays.
I laughed and said: As expected of the man who was most loved by writers in the Showa era, could it be the reincarnation of Inari God? (Inari God is in charge of popularity and wealth)
(The following is the legendary magical tablecloth 🤣)
Okay, let's stop messing around, let's get down to business.
Here are a few photos of Akihiro Miwa in his heyday, when he was called "the beautiful boy since Emperor Shenmu" by the media.
He was even praised by writer Yukio Mishima as "the beauty of the heavens", and was loved by literati such as Kawabata Yasunari, Yoshiyuki Junnosuke, Nosaka Akira, Oe Kenzaburo, Nakahara Junichi, Endo Shusaku, and Terayama Shuji.
In fact, when I was looking for Yukio Mishima's information before, there was a person named Miwa Akihiro.
Because Mishima Yukio went to Miwa Akihiro before committing suicide.
In November 1970, Akihiro Miwa, who was filming a Japanese drama in Yurakucho, Tokyo, was doing makeup backstage. Seeing a pair of well-polished leather shoes under the curtain, Milo asked loudly, "Who is it?". The staff said, "Mishima is here."
Mishima gave him a large bouquet of red roses, about 300. Mi-lun put the roses in the bucket, and after talking to him, because the performance was about to start, Mi-lun was about to leave. At this point, Mishima said "Break it!", then turned back and said, "I won't come back to your backstage again."
At that time, Akihiro Miwa asked him, "Why?" "You are still beautiful today. Because it's painful to lie all the time." As usual, he said some annoying things.
Then, Mishima, who was wearing glasses (actually short-sighted!), sat in the audience seat in front of her and listened intently when Mirin performed on stage.
We all know what happened after that.
On November 25, Yukio Mishima went to the self-defense force station, kidnapped the director of the self-defense force, and issued a declaration calling for revision of the constitution.
Miren first received a phone call from a friend and hurried to the office's TV, where she witnessed Mishima's speech on the balcony and the process that followed.
At this moment, Akihiro Miwa remembered Mishima's words "I will never come again." It turned out to be a last word.
Before that, Akihiro Miwa also starred in the "Black Lizard" directed by Yukio Mishima (the original is Edogawa Ranpo).
At that time, it was widely rumored in the literary world that Miwa Akihiro appeared where Yukio Mishima appeared. Therefore, he is considered to be Mishima Yukio's lover. (Mishima was married at the time)
But is this really the case?
Not to mention these rumors or legends, in fact, Guangmei Lun Minghong's own experience is legendary enough.
Miwa Akihiro, whose real name is Maruyama Akihiro (nicknamed MARU), was born in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
My family lived near Maruyama Yuguo (yes, the flower street). My father ran restaurants, coffee shops, and bathhouses at the time, and his family was quite wealthy. However, at the age of ten (August 9, 1945), the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki.
That morning, he was on the second floor of his home in Shimomachi, 3.9 kilometers away from the explosion site, doing his summer homework: painting the "Wanshouji" in "Oka Soko".
He wondered how the picture would look when posted, so he left his desk and took a few steps back. At this moment, a strong white light like burning tens of millions of tons of magnesium flashed before his eyes.
Ah Qing, a servant who was collecting quilts, said, "How could there be thunder in such a good weather?" Then, there was a strong earthquake, the house shook violently, all the glass was shattered, and rubble fell. So, Ah Qing urged him to hide under the quilt.
At this time, an explosion sound like a bomb dropped by a fighter plane was heard in the distance, and then an air raid siren sounded. So, Ah Qing urged, "Run away! Maybe the enemy plane is coming again!"
The two rushed downstairs and found their brother who had fallen by the pillar. So Ah Qing also took his brother, and the three of them fled barefoot to the air-raid shelter at the destination of 1 Ding on the West Island.
At that time, when he passed by the Fukusaya main store in Fundaiko-cho, he saw a very wonderful scene: the horse of the carriage fell to the ground, and the uncle, the groom, who was burnt or mad, kept jumping beside him, like beans on a frying pan. . But he was so scared that he didn't stop and continued to run.
Miwa Akihiro was originally worried about his grandmother's house in Yamasato-cho (now Heiwa-cho), which is closer to the site of the atomic bomb, but he gave up because his family said, "It's too dangerous! You can't go!"
Six days later, the Emperor Yuyin was heard in the shelter, confirming Japan's defeat. He went to visit his grandmother alone, only to see a very horrific sight.
"It used to be a small town with a beautiful Catholic church, blooming flowers, and a variety of styles. Now, there is nothing. I don't know where my grandmother's house is. Many charred bodies are just abandoned in the rubble. It is the end of the world. , a world where mankind perishes."
So, he had no choice but to go home.
Later, in the 2005 NHK program "That Day, Memory of Showa 20" (あの日Showa 20 Memory), Miwa Akihiro was interviewed as one of the victims of the atomic bomb and said:
"At that time, a large number of dying victims of the explosion flooded into the hometown and wanted to beg for water, so the whole family mobilized to supply water. Among them, there was a female explosion victim, whose face was like lava flowing down, and her face was so badly burned that she could not close her mouth properly. After giving her water, she worshipped me as a child and died slowly."
(As a result, he also suffered from acute radiation symptoms for many years, losing hair and anemia. At the age of 54, he passed out several times in the TV corridor)
Speaking of this, Akihiro Miwa's eyes turned red: "It's like hell." Later in other interviews, he said, "That hell-like scene was deeply imprinted in my mind, and it was the origin of my composition. "
Since then, he has become a staunch anti-war person, and even often has rather poignant comments on war and the military:
"A person who wants to amend Article 9 of the Constitution is a bastard. Don't let him be elected. Otherwise, you can change it if you have the conditions. 'You can carry guns and guns yourself, and your wife and daughter can become military comfort women'!"
In the spring of 1950, the fifteen-year-old Akihiro Miwa entered the National Music High School in Tokyo because of his longing for opera singers.
But when he returned home from vacation, he was angry with his father for being very indifferent to his poor relatives, so he had a big fight with his father and was cut off from the father-son relationship and kicked out of the house. Of course, the family's financial aid was cut off.
As a result, he dropped out of high school and worked as a jazz singer in a US military base. During this time, he was so poor that he had to sleep at Shinjuku Station.
At the age of seventeen, Akihiro Miwa saw that the Chanson Cafe "Silver Paris" in Ginza 7-chome, Tokyo was recruiting beautiful young singers.
As a result, on the condition that the nationality, gender and age are not disclosed, Meilu Minghong began to become the exclusive resident singer of Silver Paris. At this time, Silver Paris was the haunt of many political and business leaders, as well as people from the literary and art circles. So, it was here that I met Yukio Mishima.
According to Miwa Akihiro, the first floor was a cafe and the second floor was a club. Yukio Mishima was only 27 years old at the time. At the age of 24, he published "Confessions of a Mask" and became famous. He is a popular writer in the publishing house.
The young and vigorous Akihiro Miwa was very disapproving when he saw that everyone in the store was shouting "Teacher! Teacher!" at Mishima.
On the other hand, in Mishima on the second floor, when he saw Miwa singing on the first floor, he said to the waiter, "Trip three times the tip and ask that kid to come up!", Miwa Akihiro said that he wanted to say, "Okay! There are three I'll go with the tip!"
(At that time, the Maruyama family was already in the doldrums. Instead, his father who was isolated came to Beijing to ask for money. For the sake of deducting one older brother above and 9 younger siblings, Meilu Minghong agreed.)
After meeting Mishima, Mishima asked him, "Do you want something to drink?" "No, I'm not a drinking geisha."
Mishima said, "How arrogant, what an unlovable guy."
Not to be outdone, Miwa Akihiro replied, "It doesn't matter if I'm not cute, I'm beautiful anyway." She seemed too lazy to talk to him, but Mishima unexpectedly found it interesting. (weird switch was turned on XDD)
Later, he would come to the store from time to time to find him.
In 1957, Mei Lun Minghong sang the French chanson song "Méqué méqué". His gorgeous face and neutral dress* attracted attention and became a popular singer. He even started acting in movies. "Beautiful boy since Emperor Shenmu" was the title that appeared at this time.
* For example, wearing a lace shirt (the album cover below), or changing the clothes of the samurai followers of Genroku period into dresses. However, this clothing revolution has also been criticized. There was a newspaper editorial saying that he should be exiled from the entertainment industry, and stones or bottle caps were thrown by unknown passers-by on the road.
After becoming a popular singer, after a year of silence, he publicly came out in a weekly magazine and admitted that he was gay. And the chanson he interpreted was different from the general impression, and was strongly attacked by public opinion, and its popularity plummeted. It was not until 1966 that after the "Temporary Worker Song" (ヨイトマケの貨), which was based on the theme of the working class, it gradually returned to the entertainment industry.
(He came out earlier than Japan's first gay male movie "Rose's Funeral" (1969), which should have been a big deal at the time, a really brave man.)
By the way, in the Japanese drama "Hanako and Annie", which played the headline gossip of the Taisho era "The White Lotus Incident", the narration was matched by Akihiro Miwa.
All in all, these two are not so much lovers (Mishima seems to have publicly denied it), but more like friends practicing Xiaohua. (And male pet?)
Mishima once said to Miwa Akihiro: "You are 95% of the people who are very good, both talented and beautiful. But the 5% of the goddamn shortcomings offset all the previous advantages."
"Oh? What's the downside of having such a great power?" "It's just that you don't have a crush on me at all."
"I don't take respected people as objects of love. A respected person is a respected person from beginning to end. Once you fall in love, you always feel that your level will drop."
"Then what kind of person do you like?" "The kind of person who looks pitiful. That's why Mr. Mishima can't be a love interest. It's a pity."
"You misunderstood me. I'm so pitiful. Imagine that rainy day, after I said goodbye to you, I went home with an umbrella in despair. It's almost so pathetic!"
On anonymous Japanese websites, it seems that some people (extreme rightists?) hate that Miwa Akihiro refers to Mishima as his little fan, so they think he's lying.
However, based on what I've read about Mishima's works, and watching the documentary "Todaidai Kotsu VS Mishima Yukio" a while ago, I think Mishima is not so much an advocate of Bushido spirit, but a strong love of ancient Greek Plato. color.
Because Mishima often describes a beautiful but incorruptible teenager in his works (like the beauty of Kinkakuji, or the "Emperor" in his mind). Therefore, Meilu Minghong is more like a symbolic existence of ideal beauty in his heart, and may not necessarily have physical requirements for this person. Rather, being rejected might be better than being accepted.
In particular, the matter of offering roses before the uprising is also very ancient Greek style. The ancient Greeks believed that an army composed of lovers and loved ones would be braver than any army, because they did not want to make a fool of themselves in front of their lovers, so they would be brave to kill the enemy and perform their best on the battlefield. Perhaps, Yukio Mishima's bouquet of roses is also a kind of self-encouragement before going into battle? (Although there is an irony: Miwa Akira is completely anti-war)
According to an interview with NHK, Akihiro Miwa also revealed Yukio Mishima's childish side.
It is said that Mishima has said many times that he really wants to taste the taste of being a star. ( Are you not popular enough in that era ??? )
He also said to Meilu Minghong: "I really envy you~ Everywhere you go is a star, and the people next to you are busy with you, but you turn around proudly, so envy~ I really want to try it!"
So, in 1966, when the Nihon Keizai Shimbun was going to hold a concert, Akihiro Miwa called Yukio Mishima: "Mr. Mishima, do you want to sing a song?"
So Mishima proposed to publish a chanson of his own creation, with Mishima writing the lyrics and Miwa Akihiro accompanying the music.
(It should not be self-created, but filled in lyrics with an existing melody... There was no concept of copyright at that time... I guess)
"I wrote a chanson with very long lyrics. I was at Mishima's house and brought a pianist, but he turned out to be a serious music idiot! I was shocked! Because he was born in that kind of official department, the style is very good. I have a strong and tough family, so I usually have almost no music or anything. I think maybe I don't have the habit of singing, so let's practice every day! As a result, the tone delusion was cured in a week, and the concentration is amazing. Power, no out of tune at all!"
On the eve of the performance,
"When I went backstage, I saw Mrs. Mishima carrying a bag, juxtaposed with Mishima sitting on a folding chair. Mishima put his feet up on the back of the chair to take a nap, and said, 'Ah, the feeling of a star Awesome! Arrogance is awesome! You are awesome too! You have to keep such an arrogant mood all the time!" The wife gave up and said, "It has always been this virtuous since the beginning. This person is so arrogant. Like a child, neatly fold all the hats and shoes, put them next to the pillow, and say that they are going to be worn tomorrow, while sleeping.”
After about ten minutes of singing performance, Mishima was very satisfied and smiled. When I saw the reporters come to take pictures, I was very excited and said, "Okay! Is it like this?", and put on a pose according to the reporter's request.
In addition, it is said that Mishima also often criticized Miwa Akihiro's clothes, saying, "What do you wear, the country people in Kyushu are really annoying." Miwa retorted him and said, "Do you know the history of Nagasaki? It is still in Tokyo. When the grass grows everywhere, Nagasaki is already a cosmopolitan city! You are the countryman from Kanto!”
Later, Mishima once said that he wanted to see Mirin wearing a leather jacket, so he took him to buy a leather jacket and jeans. After Meilu Minghong got the new clothes, she happily wore them home, but when she returned home, she was scolded by her mother for your poor taste. (laughs to death) Later, he complained to Mishima: You are the one who made me scolded. 😣 (But Mishima said: I wish you could maintain that for a while longer)
Many websites have written that Akihiro Milu changed his name after Mishima passed away, as if to mourn his friend.
But in fact, after checking it, it seems that it has nothing to do with Mishima. (laugh)
It was the year after Mishima's death (1971), when he was chanting the scriptures, the word "Meilun" came to his mind. After he checked the name study, he found that it was a name with perfect strokes. He thought it was a gift from God, so he changed his name to it. Meilu Minghong.
In his later years, Akihiro Miwa seems to have started to take a (somewhat subtle) route of psychic ability or spiritual growth. (Too addicted to religion and started to grow antennas?)
Perhaps it is because of this that the urban legend that his tablecloth can attract money? ?
However, out of curiosity (semi-nonsense), after changing the tablecloth for two days, I suddenly got a lot more clapping this morning than before, and I was shocked. What's going on? Is it a coincidence? Is it really a tablecloth that works? ? ?
I'll leave it to you to experiment. 🤣
(But you have to put up with that horribly vulgar picture first... 🤣🤣🤣)
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
