The reason for working hard is...

In your mind, what is the reason for working hard?

I had an argument with L the day before yesterday.

In fact, this is the first time the two of us have spoken in nearly four months, but as soon as we speak, we are always at each other's throats.
Not surprisingly, she put me on the blacklist again.

But this dispute made me start thinking about this issue.

L and I are a few years apart in age, so I initially wondered if the disagreement was due to our age difference or because of personality.

So I did a survey on my instgram.

There are 39 samples obtained from ins, of which there are 3 people who think yes, and 36 people who think no, including myself.

Most of the people who voted no were because they felt that they should stick to their duties, that their character could not tolerate being sloppy in their own hands, or that they didn’t want to be bothered by the superiors, or that they were serious when they had money, and sloppy when they had no money. Just go by.

But most of these samples are about my age.

So I asked a well-respected person who served as the vice-chairman of an administrative unit in the city, and has been reused since the last mayor, and the current mayor is still a senior of the city's municipal team.

He really deserves such a wealth of work experience and such a personality (?!), and gave me such a pertinent but inspiring answer.
And because of my introduction, the seniors who have served as supervisor training instructors came up with their own secrets, and said that they would give me a course in supervisor training on how to communicate vertically, how to know what you want and how to understand what you want.

Finally, I would like to share my thoughts:
Being able to make your bosses like you in the workplace is an important thing, but it is even more so for my job begging for food in a government agency.
But the reason for working hard is naturally far more than just making the boss like you. In addition to sticking to one's duty and being able to acquire professional knowledge and know-how that is impossible to obtain in school, I think it is more about forming good relationships.

When we abide by our duty, we can achieve no leakage in our daily work, and we can get more powerful strength and a more meticulous way of doing things.
And these will be the capital that can open up good relationships or even accumulate contacts.
Then we formed a good relationship, accumulated contacts, and possibly learned more knowledge and more perfect ways of doing things from them, which in turn started a virtuous circle.

After calming down and thinking about it, she may have also heard from my supervisor that my supervisor was not happy with me, so she told me this, but I only cared about the process of talking with her not to be inferior. I didn't hear what she meant for me.

Next time, if she is willing to let me out of the little black room again, and is in a state of being able to communicate well, then tell her what I think.
