002 | The language you use shapes your world.
We all know that in any occasion, we need to use different languages. Since ancient times, there has been a principle of "talking to people, talking to ghosts" since ancient times. In today's extremely developed instant communication, our language deficiency has become poor and vulgar.
There is a saying in English "You are what you eat", which means that what you eat (input) will eventually become what you are. And now, "You are what you said", whether you believe it or not, every word you say will subtly shape your life.
The language here is not just Chinese, Japanese and English in the sense of language subject classification. "Language" here refers to the way you usually speak, the words you use, and the angle of your expression. Language is the minimal output, and it reflects how your brain thinks. When you are accustomed to a certain way of language (such as complaining, sour people's language), you are also training your brain "how to think", and then gradually create your behavior pattern.
There is no esoteric occultism here, nor is there any positive psychology that "puts an order to the universe". However, just as the same "lie" has been said 1000 times and it will come true, the same "language" will also come true if it has been said 1000 times.
When you're always saying "Because I don't have time, I...", you'll never have time. The "time" here can be replaced with anything: rich dad, freedom, resources, bloodline... And this kind of thinking mode is just a play directed and performed by the brain, used to escape and comfort ourselves, and give reasons for our "inaction". It is what we are best at, isn't it?
During my recent self-reflection, I listed some "languages" I often use, such as:
① Forget it, I don't want to worry about it anymore.
② I am not XXX, so lucky.
③ Isn't there a way out of this?
In fact, most of the logic behind these languages is a negative, passive, and excused "attitude", which is of no use in changing the status quo.
People are free to choose their own language. Before speaking, they might as well stop for a moment and think about it. This sentence is "building the future", and it is just a sentence of "self-comfort for the incompetent".
