[Matters Web3 Online Learning Session - Transcript] Beyond Publishing: The Possibility of Publishing with NFT as a Quantifier
Ali : I am very happy to invite the workers and teachers of Liker Land to talk about their Writing NFT. They started to do the Beta test a few weeks ago. I also saw some cases and thought it was very fresh. Their patterns are also very special. In fact, Liker Land is a good friend of our ecosystem. Teacher Gao Jianjian is here. "Blockchain Sociology" said that there are no three pillars of Datai. This IPFS, Matters and Liker Land now have two pillars. Then let's not talk much. I am here to remind everyone that when the speaker is speaking later, you can go to the sub-channel " Beyond 1028 Release: The Possibility of Publishing with NFT as a Quantifier " to ask any questions, and you will be invited after the speaker finishes speaking. She came here to answer. Then I don't waste time, Aurora, let's get started!
Aurora : Thank you Ali. I'll sit a little more upright when some big names come. Hello everyone, I am Aurora, a front-end engineer from Liker Land. Thank you Matters for inviting me to have the opportunity to talk to you about Writing NFT in this Web3 reading club. Although Writing NFT has only been launched for less than three months, I can still share with you our product ideas, and then share what we are trying to achieve with NFT and solve those problems. Then I will cut to the chase, mainly focusing on the published articles to talk about today's topic: "Beyond Publishing: The Possibility of Publishing Using NFT as a Quantifier". First of all, I want to say sorry to everyone, because I am currently suffering from the sequelae of the new crown, so the trachea is more sensitive, and the rhythm of sharing may be slightly interrupted, please forgive me.
A market friendly to text-based NFTs
Today we talk about Writing NFT, where do we start, and how this project started. In fact, whether it is a media or a content creator, if we want to make profits through published works, we usually adopt a subscription system or a paywall charging model, or rely on reader sponsorship. In fact, before we started writing NFT, the pain point we have been paying attention to for a long time is whether there are more income and circulation channels for the published articles. I think everyone has seen the grand occasion of the NFT market last year. This seems to be nothing more than a new opportunity for creators, so is NFT the answer? In fact, I can use the characteristics of NFT to prove that I own a certain work. When I have the ownership of this work, I can do transactions. Although the NFT craze has passed, some things remain, and what remains? The technology has stayed, and there is still a question that is why there are so few text-type NFTs? All types of artistic creations can be NFT, so why are text-type NFTs so rare? The observed conclusion is that,
Not all but mainstream NFT marketplaces are not friendly enough to written works. It does not have a suitable interface for listing, nor does it have a very suitable interface for reading. For example, when it is displayed with other types of NFTs, the presentation of text is always visually disadvantaged.
Now that NFT can provide a business model for works, the first problem we have to solve is that we need to provide a more friendly NFT listing process. Are you familiar with this picture? This is the Landing Page of Liker Land. As soon as you get to this screen, you can see this sentence Publish as you write. Collect as you read. This sentence is our solution in terms of experience on the shelves. We hope that the whole process is very natural. Publishing an NFT is as easy as publishing an article, and collecting an NFT work is as intuitive as using a bookmark. So we decided to start from the original platform - this is the biggest difference between Writing NFT and the current platform with text NFT projects. What we want to achieve is to publish the writing NFT at the same time as publishing the article. What are the benefits of starting from the original platform? That is, it does not need to change the author's habit of posting articles, he can publish an NFT by pressing a few more buttons after following the usual process of publishing articles. What are the benefits of starting from the original platform? When I want to read this NFT, I read it on the original URL, and this platform will not go through other formats. A quick example here is Sally who participated in our AMA. This is the picture of her Writing NFT . We want to see the content of this Writing NFT and open its original URL. So simply speaking, Writing NFT properly saves the article, whether it is OG or all its metadata. But when reading, the reader is still brought to the original URL. So to put it simply, Writing NFT keeps the data properly and also has the best reading experience at the same time.
The business circle is in the reader circle
So what are the benefits of starting from the original platform? That is, we do not pull the author out of his hard-working reader circle. Under the premise of having a widget, each article is its own marketplace. While publishing an article, you can decide whether to publish it as an NFT. If you publish it as an NFT, you can have a marketplace at the bottom of your article. Readers can easily support or bookmark, and the author does not need to promote it. Take this article by Sally as an example, the article is posted on WordPress, and WordPress supports the widget function, so the article only needs to be published Sometimes it is decided to turn mint into a Writing NFT, and the widget will be displayed at the bottom of the article and become a small point of sale.
If there is no widget, it is like an article by Matters - for example, I just read an article by Yang Jun , and he will use a link at the bottom of the article to guide readers to his Collect page on Liker Land to collect this work . Speaking of the distance from the original platform to the publication of Writing NFT,
If you are not in Matters and do not use WordPress, or if you simply want to publish old articles as Writing NFT, you can paste the URL to the NFT Portal of app.like.co to list NFT in one stop. This "one-stop" actually has two steps: one is to register ISCN , the other is mint NFT, and then you can see this Writing NFT in Liker Land. It is very simple to give him a URL, crawl all the content of the webpage, register it as ISCN, and then mint it into Writing NFT. However, it should be reminded that the function of publishing NFT has not been officially opened, and it is currently only open to whitelist users. If you are interested in giving it a try, you are welcome to apply to join the whitelist .
If you publish an article on Matters, Matters now supports the function of registering ISCN, so when you publish an article and have registered ISCN, you can go to the My Publishing screen of app.like.co to check your ISCN. Each ISCN will have a mint NFT button. When you press it, you will enter the one-stop mint screen I just mentioned, but the difference is that you don’t want to start from the first step because you already have There is ISCN, so we will take you directly to the mint screen, just follow his process, sign twice and you can publish your NFT smoothly. After the end, go to the Liker Land screen to view the Writing NFT.
This is how Matters users who are currently whitelisted publish Writing NFTs. This is also the process I just mentioned. It is also a method of publishing Writing NFT based on ISCN. You can find related teaching videos on the LikeCoin website for this process. When it comes to publishing Writing NFT based on ISCN, I want to mention that another community has created an ISCN Browser tool, and many people are using it; just connect your wallet to browse the ISCN information on the chain. For example, when I link my wallet address and click to view it, all my ISCNs are displayed. We will also provide a small function in the future, that is, a column will be added after the ISCN. If the ISCN has not been mint into NFT, you can mint NFT here with one click. It is a relatively direct and intuitive website - You don't need to search or click one by one to find a certain ISCN there.
Publish NFT directly from the content platform
If your original platform is on WordPress, you only need to press the depub button when publishing an article, and a pop-up window will guide you through the process of registering ISCN and mint NFT step by step. After completing the Mint steps, the mini marketplace widget will appear directly under your article, and you don't need to go to the Liker Land website to view this NFT or share the Liker Land URL.
so what is that sound? (Ding Ding sounds twice in the background) This is the sound of knocking on a bowl.
I just introduced the process and experience of listing Writing NFT. Although there is still some room for improvement, we want to provide a relatively friendly way to list NFT. I hope everyone can feel that this is not difficult, and everyone is willing to try it.
Next, let’s talk about the word publishing. Some people, like me, think that the word “publishing” is too big and far away. For example, when I post waste articles on Liker.Social , what does publishing have to do with me?
We might as well imagine the situation as: If I want to sell an article today, in the form of a paper book, I must first register the ISBN to declare the property rights, then print it into a volume to make it circulated, and finally sell it in bookstores or bookstores. Sell on your self-media. If I want to sell this article through Writing NFT, I can rely on the existing ISCN to declare the property rights. But ISCN itself has no way to do circulation. ISCN itself is doing intellectual property certification, but it has no way to do circulation and is not easy to sell, so we decided that the way of circulation is to issue NFT based on it. Each article becomes a tradable NFT unit, and then placed on the marketplace for sale. So this article has become a publication, and publishing it in the context of Writing NFT actually represents these three things: property rights, deciding how to circulate, and selling at a price.
Publishing = Proclamation of Property Rights + Circulation + Sales
Then let's look back at this sentence: "NFT realizes free publication" is actually the declaration, circulation and sale of property rights by NFT, because NFT realizes the declaration, circulation and sale of property rights, so articles can be transferred and distributed like publications. Invest in these functions, and the prototype of the business model is actually established in this way.
Then let's look at how Liker Land implements these details.
We believe that the application of Writing NFT will be different from the NFT market in the past year. In the past year, our common NFT gameplay was to limit a certain number of issuances, create scarcity, and then set the price by the author. If we take the collection of good articles as the starting point, we want to take a mass and popular route, so we will not limit the number of publications, but encourage everyone to collect them, and then let the market determine the price of the works. The more people collect the price, the higher the price will be. The higher it is, the more difficult it will be to buy again. In order to encourage everyone to collect more, you may find that we have recently added a "gem cube" icon under our Writing NFT, just to achieve an effect: when purchasing, you will see the price of each work sold by the author you support. Then I can rise to the next level, so I can't help but buy that work. So I think this is also a concept that allows readers to break through the level together.
Gamification and Ritual
This is what we will open later, so that the author can also sign or leave a message for any NFT issued by himself. This is the unique function of NFT. What are the benefits of this feature? The author can give feedback to the reader that he wants to speak, he wants to leave a message, or leave a thank you, thus increasing the diversity of NFT. This difference will affect the secondary market that will be opened in the future. We can really make a profit every time we change hands, but an article, when readers can collect unlimited, it should be said that an article can have nearly unlimited NFT collections. For example, if 50 people have collected kin's Genesis NFT , then all 50 of us have collected kin's Genesis NFT. What is the difference between 50 NFTs? There may be only a difference in the timestamp - the difference in whether I saved it earlier or later, but the content looks almost the same. However, adding an element of the author's comment on a particular NFT increases the independence or differentiation of one of the 50 NFTs. Therefore, although readers collect NFT based on supporting the author or supporting a certain article, the added value of reselling can be increased by borrowing the author's signature or message. For this function, the UI will be greatly revised in the future, please look forward to it and pay attention.
Building Social Capital - You are what you read
The next thing I want to talk about is the collection function. The "Collect" screen is basically a Web3 bookshelf, which collects articles from various platforms without platform restrictions. The point we want to bring out is You are what you read. Like the real identity, the identity of Web3 will actually be more and more valued, so how to show the identity? There is a saying: "Knowing a person's book list can roughly tell what kind of person he is and what he believes in." The above is from the perspective of readers collecting NFT. In fact, PFP NFT is like this. For example, in the Matters community, Travelogger also represents a community identity. In this way, You are what you read can define your identity with the collection on the Web3 bookshelf.
In addition, I would like to mention Transfer , the writing NFT function that is already available. NFT owners can unconditionally transfer your NFT to other people, allowing NFT to flow between various addresses.
Let me make a summary:
- It does not mean that after the NFT is issued, the work can be sold for a lot of money, because the breakthrough we have made is to make the article change from "unsellable" to "sellable".
- The matter of copyright is realized by ISCN, which records the most important metadata of NFT
- But ISCN (copyright) cannot be sold, so we use NFT to realize this economic model, so that it can be circulated and sold.
- Why can NFT be circulated and sold? Because NFT can prove ownership
- Collection is not just a collection. For example, when we own a book, it is not just to read it, but also to express support and recognition, or to own it simply because we like it; no matter what the reason, your collection can be more directly Support the author.
- A closer network of relationships can thus be established between readers and authors. We've made supporting authors as easy as using Bookmark. Since the work is collected by the real white honeysuckle, it is not just an article published on the Internet for you, but a collection, which will make readers read and ponder more carefully.
Belief in creative value and autonomy
I would like to talk about Liker Land's beliefs, and the review of the journey so far. Our belief is that "creation is valuable", so we feel that the work is worthy of appreciation and launched the LikeCoin button; because the intellectual property rights of works that are valuable for creation need to be protected, so we created ISCN to put all intellectual property rights on the chain; because creation is valuable , so we designed Writing NFT to give an article ownership and circulation, so that it can have a business model.
"Is my Writing NFT your Writing NFT?" This is based on whether you really own your key. Here, we encourage everyone to take the most important and difficult step to enter Web3, which is to open your own wallet.
Not your key, not your content.
Only by mastering your own key can you truly master your own assets.
Today's sharing probably ends here, but in fact the Writing NFT project is still in full swing. We have been doing very fast iterations, verifying and then adjusting the direction, hoping that everyone can participate in the growth process of this product. Then my commentary ends here, thank you all.
participants ask questions
Ali : Well, very simple and fast. Then let's look directly at the question written on this (sub-channel), but I want to ask first what is the meaning of the action of "knocking the bowl" just now?
Aurora : There should be some Matters users who want to say that the process of publishing NFT can be as smooth as in WordPress. After publishing, you can directly have your own marketplace underneath, and I don’t need to use another URL to do it. Propaganda etc, this is a nice implement.
Ali : No, I just asked about the action of knocking the bowl.
Aurora : Knock on the bowl? Still use widgets.
(In his speech, Aurora used the sound of knocking on a bowl to hint at his expectation for Matters to integrate the Writing NFT process. However, until now Ali seems to have failed to understand^_^ Ali will continue to ask questions below.)
Ali : It's okay, then I'll take a look at the problem.
"If the original URL server of the article is down or is no longer in operation, where can I see the article?"
Jazzy-chill
Aurora : In fact, this is a problem that ISCN is avoiding, right? When the content of the website is really taken off the shelves, there is really no way to see the original typesetting of the work on the original website - it is the most comfortable reading mode; but all the content of these works has been stored in IPFS and Arweave, you can still See original content through ISCN.
Ali :
"WL of Writing NFT can be exchanged on this month's Matters Store"
Howard
Friends who are interested can try it, it is very convenient.
Then I said Browser, is your idea whether to store it outside or read it on Liker Land, or extract it to make NFT, so everyone still keeps the place and reading habits of the original article. I think this idea is actually quite good. LikeCoin itself has the same idea of making this API, and it will not affect the original content of users.
Then let me ask what is the function of the sound of knocking on the bowl? Didn't make it clear and didn't guess, so Aurora, did you hear the problem?
You knocked your bowl twice in the middle just now, and wanted to ask why you did this kind of action?
Aurora : Knock on the bowl, I don't know how to answer, it's just knock on the bowl Matters to use this new feature.
Ali : After knocking the bowl, please use it.
Aurora : Let's talk about collaboration.
Ali : below
"It's like watching what other people are listening to on Spotify"
GH
Aurora : If it weren't for the new crown, my voice would be better.
Ali : No, it already sounds good.
Aurora : Taking it to the next level.
Ali : It feels like watching what music other people listen to on Spotify. Does it have this effect? Do you think this metaphor is appropriate?
Aurora : It's quite common to hear this.
Ali :
"Keplr app does not support LikeCoin, please refer to"
Denken
Then attach a table to say what kind of support is available. As for the current support of the Liker Land app, I actually want to ask about the support of Liker Land in the Cosmos ecosystem. Is there any recommendation for this aspect at present?
Aurora : Can Edmond answer this question?
Edmond : Now the wallet we can use to collect Writing NFT is directly Keplr . If you have Keplr, basically many functions are unimpeded. Then, on mobile phones, Cosmostation has been advancing relatively quickly recently. If you have read the article written by Leo who reads the pen, he said that using Liker Land to collect Writing NFT, in fact, it is already available. But it is actually possible to use Cosmotation. Then it will continue to develop.
Ali : I really look forward to this wallet meeting this scenario. then
"Articles will be uploaded to IPFS & Arweave, for example, there is such information in the Metadata under the Genesis Writing NFT "
"LikeCoin Writing NFT market (home page), what method is expected to be used for recommendation/curation?" Denken
I think this is a good question.
Aurora : Then I'll answer first and see if Edmond has anything to add. We're basically doing a leaderboard. The leaderboard is a function that everyone plays very often, and it should be put on the shelves first, but in fact, some people have already done these functions in the community, and then we are also thinking about which functions are most suitable for our homepage. of. In fact, we don’t want Liker Land to be a very important marketplace. We want to disperse it. Every author’s own article is his own marketplace. He has his own small marketplace and does not happen on a large platform. Edmond Is there anything to add?
Edmond : This is asking whether Liker Land will help the author curate this. This concept has always been asked by people on the way of our development, but our positioning is a bit different from Matters or Square Grid or some media platforms. We are relatively low-level ideas, and we are an ideal world. We don't want everyone who publishes Writing NFT to be curated by us. In fact, it is not the desired effect. What we want to achieve is that there are small markets of different sizes in this world. Matters is one, and then other writing platforms are one, and then the author's independent website is also one. They can use Writing NFT on their own platforms. tools to sell your work. Therefore, the Social Graph that is the social circle created by Writing NFT is actually not owned by a single platform. We hope that authors and readers can use this network to build their own small circle. So my ideal model is more distributed. In terms of helping curation, what we will do should be tools, for example, helping authors and readers to access the relationship network, visualize the relationship rankings, connect authors and readers, for example, you can transfer some gifts and things to Readers, etc., or notification, such as reminding readers that an author has some articles on the shelves, such small tools, we will do these instead of a centralized curation.
Ali : Well, I think it's really great. The tools are getting better and better. I think that many of them now just want to make all kinds of common habit tools into Web3. well below
"If the content is claimed for the right to be forgotten (GDPR is included in the laws of each country), what will happen to the NFT on the chain?"
++ the robber
I don’t think this is a LikeCoin problem but a general problem. Have you ever thought about this problem?
Edmond : There is also a general term for this question. In the Web3 world, we generally divide it into data on the chain and data displayed at the UI level. We can implement something like a blacklist, that is, if the author of some content does not want to display it anymore, or even infringing content, the author thinks that the content has been stolen and so on. If these contents are technically, firstly, a blacklist can be created technically, and the UI will not be displayed. The UI I'm talking about is the UI that Liker Land can control. But once the record on the chain is written, it cannot be removed. This is
The characteristics of the Web3 world, once the content is written, there is no way to change it. But the next question is who decides the blacklist? I think this will slowly develop into something like some professional people who can judge or accept some complaints and make some rulings, but this has not yet developed to this level.
Ali : OK. So there are still some centralized parts that you can control. I also want to talk about what to do if there is a quarrel, because NFT cannot handle this problem.
Edmond : It can be processed at the UI level, just like you write a file to the chain, and then you can get all these materials on the chain, but it can also read a blacklist, that is, who is his work for what If the reason cannot be displayed, the UI does not need to display it. But it doesn't mean that this work has been deleted by delete. If someone creates a UI by himself, it's okay not to look at this blacklist. So it's not completely disappearing like this.
Ali : OK, the Matters approach is similar. Things will not disappear. Only you can make his UI not be displayed on our platform. well below

"It's shameful for a mistress to open a trumpet"

"Will Matters natively support the Writing NFT function like the LikeCoin widget in the future? (The result is asking the Matters Labs audience in the audience)"
Denken
Err... I can't answer this question, do we have colleagues who can answer this question? Fortunately, they did not jump out at the same time.
"I would like to ask one thing: If I have written each article, does LikeCoin have a plan to support the author to publish a physical anthology?"
Shift
I guess no?
Edmond : There is a reverse case. Just now ckxpress is here. His book actually released a digital version first , and then decided not to publish a physical version after the digital version was sold. It's us. Liker Land doesn't have this plan, and we are not professional in this area. To be honest, we may leave it to other professional people to help.
Matters knocked on the bowl just now, and I also want to make a wish here. If you register an article on Matters and register for ISCN, it does not support the function of updating the ISCN version; for example, I changed some words on the article, theoretically It is possible to publish a new version of an ISCN, the second version and the third version of the same ISCN ID. But now a new ISCN will be re-released, which will make the NFT released by the previous ISCN become two series of things, which is also a wish.
Ali : Well, I hope our development colleagues have heard the wish. under
" You can buy this NFT "
"People are publishing on Web3, you are the entity. Support also supports the Web3 version."
Daisy
Really cute dog, SadPug.
"But I remember that the GDPR's right to be forgotten is in the Web2 website, which requires all deletions in the database... (not just marked as isDeleted = true); in this way, the Web3 website/blockchain only hides the article from the UI, which is reasonable Is it regular?"
Denken
Good question, regulatory question.
Edmond : I think what the EU requires is whether a company has stored this information. At the Liker Land level, we guarantee that the so-called hiding means that we will not display this information after reading the blacklist. We can do this without caching. This is not technically possible. Difficult to achieve. But if we talk about the records of the blockchain, I don’t think there is any way to fully comply with the law, because once written to the chain, the transaction of each chain cannot be removed.
Ali : I think this is a regulatory issue.
"Yes, so it is not compliant. How to deal with the public chain may be a future regulatory homework. It's just not visible, not completely deleted."
++ the robber
At present, the latest US government practice directly supervises this node. I think the U.S. government is a brilliant move. Now Ethereum is discussing regulatory issues and trying to resist U.S. censorship.
"Can the lobby track the author + search the box for the author? (Or did I not see it?) (I have to track the Dobby leader, and I can't miss the release of the blue-chip NFT). I know this function can be done by "folks", but I don't think so. easy to use."
Reading Pen Leo
Edmond : In fact, we haven’t made a careful and definite decision on how to do it in terms of product development. The current feature page is only in the MVP stage. We don’t mean that we curate all works of authors on it. We just want to do a promotion Activities just exist. But will it develop into a curation, just like another content text platform website or media. No, I think we don't have the will to make a curation where all writing NFTs go through our Portal. But it doesn't mean it's impossible, because we just don't put this priority so high. And we are also very careful to balance one thing, that is, we try our best to provide tools and encourage platforms or authors to operate their own small circles, so if we do it like Opensea, all NFT transactions, browsing, and so on. Our platform, on the contrary, is not the result we most want to see. Maybe I will try a lot, first to see if the tools we provide can enable the author to run his own small circle on different platforms or on his own website, if it is unsuccessful, or it is not unsuccessful but at least it is Only after this attempt will we consider ourselves to do more aggressive curation.
Ali : Well, I think the challenge is the problem with a very large content. Matters has already thought about this matter.
"Is it possible to think of Liker Land as a tool, as well as the concept of a publisher, rather than focusing on the platform?" Howard
That's a good question. Aurora to answer or Edmond to answer?
Aurora : The point of view is very good, because in fact, from the concept of widgets, we hope that the author can market his writing NFT under his own article, instead of going through a certain platform, so I think this point of view is very good.
Ali : Well, I don't think it's a platform either. continue,
"If there is a three little perverted uncle who has been mint a certain author's article and has become a black fan or a perverted stalker, can the author choose fans and not let specific people mint?"
++ the robber
Then you can whitelist it? Haha Liker Land to answer.
Edmond : It depends on what the author thinks. There is no standard answer. Maybe he will notice this person because of this. Maybe this reader thinks so, just want you to pay attention to me, I am your fanatic. is allowed,
Aurora : It’s just that technically we may not be able to provide it at present, that is, the author can open his own white list, which has not yet been conceived.
Edmond : Yes, no.
Ali : OK. If you want it, you can go to Liker Land products to make a wish.

"I hope that the dashboard can have a switching mode that "takes less visual space". Otherwise, if I collect 100 NFTs, it will be difficult to find them (and I also need to search for them). Switch to "list type" excel like this"
Reading Pen Leo
Edmond : We received this opinion in the questionnaire survey we did before, maybe it was proposed by Leo. Our thinking is this, there are currently common, I say generally, the number of Writing NFTs owned by most users is still not very large. This is the Writing NFT that most people have seen at a glance. Then we focus on the feeling when it is displayed, because Aurora’s Presentation has mentioned that text-based NFT has an inherent shortcoming that it is not visually appealing, and it will immediately affect readers’ collection. desire. So we focus on how to improve that UI to make it look better.
So the display method of becoming that list is not so high priority, just for this reason. I understand Leo's needs.
Aurora : But at present, the dashboard is still a portfolio, and there is still a lot of room for improvement in the presentation of the UI. We will continue to arrange and optimize this.
"Is there a plan to let the creators define the pricing bonding curve parameters (starting price, increase multiple) by themselves. And let the creators send some NFTs for free in advance?"
Denken
Edmond : It's about price bonding. To be honest, price bonding means pricing and the schedule will change. The model we imagined at the beginning is not dead, and there is room for improvement. Is it possible to have Dynamic pricing? From a product point of view, I think we should first make a gameplay that at least most people think is OK. In fact, this pricing is mainly used to provide a gamification effect and investment effect. First of all, we want to find out a mode that everyone thinks is very fun, attractive and can provide collection motivation. At present, this experiment is still early, that is, it has not yet reached the point where conclusions can be drawn. What we will do in the next step is actually to make those data and prices more intuitive. Isn’t it like 1024 and 2048 now? Obviously, some numbers are only interesting to engineers. We will change it to one thousand, two thousand, Four thousand, eight thousand.
Then whether it will be dynamic and let the author set this up, it will wait until at least a more confident gameplay is found, and it may be opened again, and it will not be too fast to cause too many gameplays to appear like this.
Ali : Okay, step by step. Then
"Someone called me?"
Pikachu EXE
Just cue yours, it's great.
Edmond : Thank you!
Ali :
"Is there a plan to let the creators define the pricing bonding curve parameters (starting price, increase multiple) by themselves. And let the creators send some NFTs for free in advance?"
Denken
Edmond : I didn't answer the latter sentence. I just answered the question before the previous sentence. The second half of the question, now there is such a way to play that the author goes by himself, which is a bit troublesome, that is, the author goes to buy his own NFT, and after buying it... because the money for the purchase can be given to himself, and then 2.5% will be deducted , and then send these NFTs to people. In the past, everyone who had a question alley would receive a Writing NFT, and that's how we did it. But this has an effect, I don’t know whether it is a good or bad effect, it will make the price of this Writing NFT stay up all the time, making it difficult for this Writing NFT to enter the market in disguise, and it is too expensive for some people to collect it. limited to this. Will you do this? In fact, we also have this need. For example, we will send out some free NFTs for any activities we have participated in. This is our own need. Wait and see, this feature is already on the list.
Ali : OK. As a result, the pricing is quite interesting, because if it is said that the later the purchase, the more expensive it will be, will it limit everyone to buy this item? On the one hand, I want to limit the quantity. I don’t know if this idea is a Beta state. Does it have the same effect as your original idea?
Edmond : Actually, I'm not very... Please repeat it again?
Ali : Your writing NFT will become more and more expensive to buy. Is the expectation you designed at the beginning consistent with the actual usage of everyone after it is launched?
Edmond : I can't come to a best conclusion, but the current observation is that users are divided into several categories. Some people think that 250 LIKEs may be their limit, and they will not spend more. Some people can buy 50,000 LIKE, as long as the item is valuable. The decision we have to make is which group of users to focus on. Right now we don't have enough data to analyze. How to make this decision. I have to take a look first, but it didn't meet the original expectations, right? Because there have also been some Writing NFTs that have been robbed. I believe that there are also some users here who have this kind of demand, that is, they will enter the market as soon as possible to grab this Writing NFT for their favorite authors, because the sooner they buy, the cheaper it will be. This is the effect we want to achieve, because our most important thing is to provide a stickiness, which is to let readers have a stickiness for the author's product, which will increase the reader's desire to pay attention.
Ali : I think we can observe for a while, and then
"PikachuEXE is a great tool https://pikaser-website-main-e5dhb9aw0-pikaser.vercel.app/zh/networks/likecoin/tools/writing-nft "
CrypToN3
"I wonder if Writing NFT has the idea or plan to design the communication function of the readership?"
Swift
Aurora : At the beginning, we would provide tools for the author to analyze his readership and the general network of his supporters. But if it is to provide a direct platform for them to communicate, it is not in our plan.
Ali : OK. In my opinion, Liker Land still makes this underlying protocol. Then
"There are a lot of this kind of PUA, I think this form of violence exists in Web2 and Web3, it is a very serious problem~~"
++ the robber
On the subject of love, okay.
"Is there any chance for creators to set Max Supply before Mint's own Writing NFT? (Although it seems that there will be some conflicts with the concept of the current pricing method)"
CrypToN3
Have an idea?
Edmond : Yes, I have this idea. In fact, of course there is a conflict. As far as we discussed this matter internally from the very beginning, I brought it up. Then there was a heated debate in the team, and finally decided to make the simplest model first, that is, not to put so many parameters and variables into the current MVP product. But I think it is very possible that this parameter will be developed in the future, it is just a matter of stage. The reason why we don’t let it go now is because we don’t want to make the whole process of buying and selling Writing NFT have too many different variations. Then we don't know what the best model looks like, so it's hard to make a decision. So I have really thought about Max Supply, Ceiling, that is, what is the top price, what is the bottom price, and what is the quantity, and I have thought about making these parameters an option.
Ali : OK.
"Or whitelist and reserve?"
Swift
No.
"Thanks Edmond for answering, kindhearted."
CrypToN3
I really don't think there are any questions and answers at the moment. I see Daisy is typing, or someone wants to open a microphone to ask questions. If you have not tried Writing NFT, I think you can try it.
“In addition to NFT’s own Ranking, I also want people’s Ranking. For example, if you collect 10, you will be a baby, if you collect 100, you will be a small business owner, and if you collect 1,000, you will be rich.”
Daisy
Have you considered doing this design?
Edmond : All considered. This is actually a community status brought by Writing NFT or one of the ways of social status that we want to achieve. In the world of readers and authors, there may be two types, at least there are two ways of expression that we have thought about or how to put it, specifically, readers are fans of the author and how loyal they are. For a single author Then there is the overall contribution, that is, who is the person who bought the most Writing NFT in the entire community, etc. This is another method. But we are now facing a difficult problem because our positioning is not to be a platform that gathers people, so where do we display this status to make everyone feel, this is a problem to be solved. It may be placed on the author's page, for example, to see who his loyal fans are in the author's profile; or placed on our feature page, now I think the former will definitely be done, and the latter has not yet been determined.
Ali : Well, this one is not easy either.
"You can also pay rent when other readers read other people's collections..."
Shift
Edmond : Pay the rent. This is a very interesting idea, this is the hand is very interesting. Because his concept is, for example, I think I believe that what Jie Ping collects must be the best, and what she collects must be things that must be read, so that saves me the time of looking for content everywhere! So I think her list is basically the content she curate gave me. I think this game will be more difficult to do in the current market situation, because how many readers have these autonomy and spend money to track a list. In fact, we are There is no idea how big the current demand is, but I think this is an interesting concept. What we did a long time ago but failed to do was this Super Like curation, but then we felt that the effect was not very good, so we put it away and focused on doing other things. In fact, we have been thinking about this thing. Whether it is Liker Land is also a question, whether we will do it, or we just provide tools like Shift said to provide some incentives to provide some tools to make this ecology develop slowly, which is also a possibility.
Ali : OK.
"Do you need money to play in other people's houses?"
Daisy
"Take off your shoes when entering the house"
Shift
Well, you can ask any other questions you have.
"Everyone's knocking on the bowl has been recorded. Matters hopes to give you a more complete functional experience as far as possible, but on the other hand, we continue to explore in different aspects, such as the recent cooperation with Planet, decentralization Content subscription (IPNS, RSS), USDT payment online, etc., like akaSwap is also making a wish, so we will discuss and promote everyone’s wish in a balanced way as much as possible.”
zeckli
In fact, we have also launched some new functions recently. You can try them out. I hope to continue to expand in the ecology. Liker Land has also been cooperating for several years for a long time. We hope that we can continue with the richer development of Web3's current ecology. Cooperation. Good to see what questions you have, you have quite a lot of questions.
Edmond : The knocking bowl I typed has already been mentioned just now, and it is just written here for records, so that zeckli can see it more easily:
A wish for Matters to support Writing NFT:
1. It is currently not supported to directly publish Writing NFT with ISCN, hoping to complete it in one stop
2. Writing NFTs that cannot be purchased directly while reading
3. Unable to update the ISCN version of the article - currently every time the article is modified, ISCN will re-register instead of updating the version number of the original record
4. Didn’t save the content in Arweave when registering, and the IPFS version is not stable enough
Edmond
Ali : OK. If you have no questions, I will ask simple questions. How many Writing NFTs do the two guests Edmond and Aurora have collected.
Edmond : I have. I have more than 100 collections. Let me take a look at how many. The unit is for sure.
Ali : Can you share some of Aurora's collections?
Aurora : I have more than eight in my collection, but I belong to the category that I like the works I will buy no matter how much it costs. In addition, I am a fan of the person who cooks snow, and I will buy all his Writing NFTs, hehe.
Ali : Really, you will buy it when it is on the shelves.
Edmond : My speed is not fast at all. CrypToN3, not at all. There are many people who are crazier than me. I didn't use those tools to track it, it's very slow.
Ali : Then Edmond, that author you like to collect.
Edmond : I have two mentalities in my collection. First of all, the first one is the author I like and I will always follow him. I will buy it as soon as he has a new Writing NFT. For example, I will definitely buy Xu Mingen, and I will definitely buy ckxpress . Another mentality is to encourage some authors who are willing to try. He published the first Writing NFT. In short, if he shared it, I would buy it and encourage him to do so.
Ali : Okay, great!
Edmond : I would like to add a question. Just now someone asked if we would develop some tools to communicate with readers, and Aurora said that we do not have such a timetable, but I think this issue can be split up a little more carefully. Because communicating with readers has some functions that have been well developed on different platforms, such as leaving comments on articles, sending emails to users, and so on. We should not give priority to implement, because we have just said that we hope that they can use their own platform to develop their small market.
But it has a tool. I think what we will definitely consider is how to interact with readers who have bought the author's NFT. For example, the author has their wallet address, so the simplest idea may be to allow the author to send Some souvenirs NFT for readers, some promotional activities, or subscribe an author through readers, when he has a new work, he can receive notification or email or app, we have all thought about it. In a broad sense, it can be regarded as some tools for interacting with readers.
Ali :
"Can I knock the bowl one more time before the end?"
Shift
Well, that Shift can come up later. So what's your problem?
"I'm still the same sentence: Go and buy the NFT book of Gaojian, Tianzi No. 1 is so precious!"
Daisy
Teacher Gao Jianjian’s book was also published on Writing NFT earlier, and the transaction volume was amazing. Good reading, I am typing, and there are still 20 minutes before we finish.
"Unfortunately Server Error".
CrypToN3
Edmond : Stripe?
Ali : What happened? what's the situation?
(Supplement later CrypToN3 has successfully purchased)
Edmond :
"Can NFT be taken off the shelves (burned)~~ Black history wants to get rid of it"
Reading Pen Leo
This is a good question, let me answer it.
Now we are developing a hidden function, which is to hide this NFT at the UI layer, so that you cannot see it on your page. This basically solves Leo's problem. But sometimes you want to remove the ownership right on the chain, basically dropping the whole thing you wrote into a black hole. This is through if it is at the NFT level, you just collect it and you can just transfer it to a certain address. But if you created those, the current practice can only pass the ownership of Transfer ISCN, because basically you can understand ISCN as IP Right, intellectual property rights. If you wrote this blacklist, you completely want to disassociate it from your wallet. The latest and most thorough way is to transfer the ownership of this ISCN to other wallets. After the transfer, you will not see this NFT on the created page. But it doesn't disappear completely, because others can track the record on the chain, so pay attention to this.
Ali : OK.
"He seems to have given the wrong URL"
Daisy
Let's see what questions you have. In addition, I would like to ask that Liker Land now has NFT and Crypto, which field of Web3 will it advance to next? For example, DAO and the like.
Edmond : We have been doing DAO. However, the current Focus has been launched for more than two months because of the writing NFT, so I think the Focus in the last to half a year has been exploring the path of writing NFT. But other work will not stop, such as the decision-making of some communities, the connection of some exchanges, such as our recent proposal on Osmosis, etc. These will continue and will not stop, but is there any breakthrough? There is no sexual plan for now.
Then it can be understood in this way. Liker Land’s positioning is now more like a member of the LikeCoin community. Our Focus is doing this to produce an application that we think is the best, but there are still many in the community. Stakeholders, other people and our roles are much more active than us in many fields, so we cannot say whether LikeCoin will do the development of those other fields you just mentioned. But at least the areas that Liker Land focuses on, we will not change in half a year, and we will definitely make this product well first.
Ali : I think it is very important to polish the product well. under
"If the author plagiarizes (blocks the UI) or takes it off the shelves (autonomously hides the UI), the readers of your Mint articles can't see it, are there any protection measures/liability for the owner (readers), etc.?"
++ the robber
Edmond : Let me think about it, if the author transfers the entire ownership of ISCN to another wallet address, what the reader will see is that his Writing NFT is changed from the creator to someone else, and it will not disappear. But the effect is that others can't see that he has created this thing when he goes to the original author's page, because it is a transfer of ownership. Speaking of dropping that NFT into a black hole, no one else can do this operation except the owner himself. The author can't touch the NFT in the hands of readers who have already bought his NFT. He can't touch it, because it is not something he owns in principle. I don't know if this can answer Robber's question.
Ali : Good robber, if you can't solve it, you can ask again. Then see if you have any questions. I feel that it’s okay if you don’t have any questions for the time being. If you don’t have any questions for the time being, we can also come here.
Edmond : I will say a few last words because I have a gift for everyone. Everyone who participated today is really grateful for everyone’s participation, so we will make a text version of today’s content, because we are Writing NFT, of course there is a text version. Then we will turn this text version of mint into a Writing NFT and give it to everyone. Then I will find a way, let everyone fill in your LikeCoin address and send it to everyone. It would be better to ask here, it would be more appropriate to post it there, and the one who filled in the address on that channel might be a Google Form?
Ali : Then you might as well send it to this channel for everyone to fill in.
Edmond : OK, OK.
Ali : Right, then OK. Does Aurora have a last word conclusion?
Aurora : Thank you all.
Ali : Thank you. That's about it for today. Thank you Edmond and thank you Aurora Hope your voice gets better soon. Then wait for Edmond's Google Form. Well, if you are interested in Writing NFT, you can go to Liker Land to watch it, and if you are interested, you can take a few home. OK, thank you all for participating and we're here today. Thank you Aurora, thank you Edmond, thank you all.
Aurora, Edmond : Thank you, bye bye!
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
